We have an alternate method to find minimum and maximum by using diffrentiation. If f(x) = ax^2+bx+c At maximum or minimum point d/dx (f(x))= 0, by diffrentiating f(x) we get b+2ax=0, by rearranging we get x=-b/2a. Therefore at -b/2a , f(x) has maximum or minimum value f(-b/2a) is the maximum or minimum value itself. Ur class was amazing sir.
