I've watched A Thousand Splendid Dolls too! I really like their videos, although I haven't watched as many as I'd like because I usually don't have time for longer ones. I think they took a break from posting for a while, and then started again - I'm pretty sure I've seen new videos from them more recently. It's such a neat coincidence, anyway, that you reviewed these two dolls, because I just saw a post very recently about the Tuptim doll and became curious about the movie! What was the story about? Did you like it? Is it anything to do with the other "The King and I" movie, the live-action one that I think also has a Broadway musical version?

I've never seen the live action movie but the cartoon was about an English school teacher named Anna who travels to Siam to teach the children there. But the king is stubborn and has a hard time accepting new ways, so they butt heads a lot lol. But it has a great ending. I think the dolls are gorgeous. I'll have to check out A Thousand Splendid Dolls and see what new videos they have posted. ☺❤

@@DollsForDolls93 That's the same story, then - I think I want to see what they do with it in animated form, it might have more of a full-on happy ending! So Tuptim and the Prince weren't the main characters of the movie, then? I seem to recall the one I saw had a forbidden romance in it too, though that one didn't end well and I was very sad about it!
