I think it's so sweet how you have mini-mes for both you and your husband❤ Jessica's dress kind of reminds me of Snow White colours. Her hair with some of the curls perfect and others out of place is acting just like real curly hair, I suppose!

Ooh, you're right, Aaliyah's makeup is so pretty - I love how it's the same colours as her outfit! I know, I'd be scared to take her hair down and mess with it too - it's not like real hair that would spring back into its natural curls eventually! It would be so nice if doll hair did that....

Gabriella is a great name for her - she kind of reminds me of Gabriella from High School Musical, with her colouring and expression and all. Her outfit is so cute and colourful - it kind of reminds me of workout clothes, except you couldn't really work out in a skirt like that!😂

I think that's a really sweet story, about your doll Mandy reminding you of your sister Mandy! As well as seeing the two Mandy dolls together, I would love to see this doll with your Jessica mini-me - maybe the dolls are sisters too?? This is such a beautiful doll - but then, I do have a soft spot for the curvy ones!

Jordan reminds me of Shang from Mulan, somehow - I think I even expected him to have a similar haircut before I saw him close up, lol. I think the haircut he has really suits him, though - both the male dolls in this line so far seem to be into a sporty look! Are there any male body types in this line besides Regular and Buff?

You could probably put Justin in all kinds of workout poses, especially if you had a little dumbbell for him to hold or something! I like to give my dolls different names than what their characters are usually called, too. After all, every doll with a Tate face mold can't be named Tate!

Selene (Celine?) is so pretty; I love the black hair and violet eyes combo. She kind of reminds me of the actress Elizabeth Taylor with that colouring! I'm proud of myself; I was able to identify her as a tall doll before you said - the regular bodies kept looking like tall ones to me!😅

You're right, Monica does look like Daphne from Scooby-Doo! And she does look like a model. I agree with you about the skirt length, though I think that's also because I generally prefer shorter skirts.... My favourite doll in the series... probably the curvy one in the gorgeous pink dress, closely followed by the one with the pixie cut!

I also love that outfit, where they match the colours perfectly but use two entirely different fabrics! (I also just love that shade of pale pink.) Amber is a beautiful doll, and I can't even tell where you had to redo her braids. I do wonder why they made two Regular body dolls for the same line?

She really is beautiful! The hair, that shiny jumpsuit... I wouldn't have thought you could do short hair on a doll without it looking messy, but they nailed it! Her eyes might be a tiny bit uneven - but honestly, I feel it's the kind of thing you could get on a real person, where maybe she'd be sensitive about it but no one else would even notice.

I was so sure Cassandra would be the "tall" body... I guess now I look at her she is the size of a regular Barbie doll, though!😅 I never find your videos or backgrounds boring - but if you want ideas, I like to get creative for my photo backgrounds. I'll use a colourful notebook to block out the clutter that would be in the photos otherwise, or occasionally I've painted my own background. I found a Barbie-sized Disney Princess castle secondhand recently, too, so maybe that would be something to look into?

I always appreciate a curvy Barbie, especially one showing us that we curvy girls can rock the strapless dress look! I always thought it would be hard to find clothes for the different Barbie body types, though - I'm pretty sure that's why Barbies were always the exact same shape up till recently, to make sure the clothes would always fit. I completely agree about needing to give us something different with the ILY 4-Evers - it's like they think we're only interested in a select handful of characters or something!

As you know my mini me is a curvy girl and I have had so many outfits that fit her. I try and not put her in the same outfit for each video we make. She is lovely this one as well. ❤

Calvin is a good-looking doll! It sounds great that there's a Barbie doll line with both boy and girl dolls and various body types. I love that kind of variety! (His silver shoes are really cool, too.)

Anna and Elsa are just beautiful here, and I just love their dresses! Close enough to their original outfits you know immediately it's Frozen, and yet different, like it's something else the sisters had in their closets. I really love what you did with their hair - Anna with a bun and Elsa with her hair down are just perfect, and honestly, I think Anna trying to look sophisticated but with a slightly messy updo and no shoes suits her character so much! I agree with you about the painted-on clothes, though, and I have noticed less quality and love going into the Disney dolls lately. Maybe, instead of switching the license back and forth between companies, Disney should just give the companies non-negotiable quality standards - or even better, maybe everyone working on these dolls should be doing it out of a genuine love for Disney dolls, and not a thought that "only kids will be playing with these".

Rapunzel's dress and shoes could be something she wears after the movie, when she moves back into the castle with her real parents! (Except that she still has the long blonde hair - but I still like that explanation!) I like the outfit you found for Flynn; it's the right colours for him, even if it isn't his original! I love how they did his expression, too. They weren't afraid to exaggerate!

Tiana's face is beautiful. She looks like she's laughing and enjoying herself, which for her is particularly great since she doesn't relax enough! I have really been enjoying seeing all the happy doll couples in your Mattel collection - I didn't know you had some of the Disney Princess couples too!

Ooh, I love the movie "Enchanted"! I need to add Robert and Giselle to my collection, Edward too... (I haven't seen Disenchanted, I was tempted but heard mixed reviews and then just never got around to it - but I did wish that movie would have given us dolls of Nancy and Morgan so I could collect them too!) It actually makes so much sense to have Giselle in a different dress from anything she wore in the movie, because I bet once she settled into New York, she was making and buying SO many new dresses....

I've watched A Thousand Splendid Dolls too! I really like their videos, although I haven't watched as many as I'd like because I usually don't have time for longer ones. I think they took a break from posting for a while, and then started again - I'm pretty sure I've seen new videos from them more recently. It's such a neat coincidence, anyway, that you reviewed these two dolls, because I just saw a post very recently about the Tuptim doll and became curious about the movie! What was the story about? Did you like it? Is it anything to do with the other "The King and I" movie, the live-action one that I think also has a Broadway musical version?

I don't think I've ever seen the movie. But I definitely know you did! 😊 I've have come to appreciate more the Barbie craze thanks to your reviews. Keep up the good work and keep inspiring your fans to become all the great qualities they see in every Barbie that has touched their imagination!

Yes, that one I heard!😂 I wondered if someone was pushing a heavy cart full of doll parts behind you or something. I remember Quest For Camelot was a really good movie; Kayley looks great, in a determined, cartoony kind of way! Garrett's hair is exactly why I prefer molded-on hair for male dolls.... Maybe because Garrett is blind, his hairdresser figured he couldn't see his haircut anyway - that would be such a mean trick to play. His feet look so strange - like he was walking in a pile of blueberries or something, but that all adds to the charm!

I always like when the clothing pieces are detachable; it makes it feel so much more realistic! I also love the starry eyes. I wonder why they don't do that so much with dolls anymore?

That's very resourceful, how you found a body and crown and necklace and suit for Anastasia and Dimitri that suit them! I think I was getting two parts of the movie mixed up, because it wasn't until you said Anastasia had a ponytail in this scene that I remembered her bun was with a different outfit... I must refresh my memory on all the outfits she wears! I would love to see your Dolls of the World collection. That was actually a line I've been curious about; it would be so fun to go on a mini world tour via Barbie dolls.
