I bought the 9 ft Home Depot one and the 9 ft Walmart one! I LOOOOOOVE ALL THE LIGHTS!! 🥰🤶 I shopped around and compared, and found the Home Depot to be a good deal. And if they go on sale within 90 days Home Depot will give you the difference back so save your receipts!!
I agree about Home Depot notifications, they had a bunch come in stock and i only knew because i kept checking, i searched and had zero notifications from them, so if I hadn’t checked I’d be treeless ☹️😂
I was able to get my hands on the 7.5 Grand Dutches today. I got one for my sister too. I was so happy to see my store had 9 back in stock this morning. I jumped up and ordered fast. I really wanted the 9 foot, but I will be just as happy with the 7.5.
YESSSS!!!!!!!!! 🥳🎄🥳 Awww, I'm so excited for you both!!! You're going to love it!!!! I hope you have a lovely and joyful Christmas!!!! ❤️ Thank you so much for watching!!!
Such an awesome video! Thank you so much for comparing these trees! I have been trying to do my research prior to buying but aren’t anywhere near what you covered. It was great seeing all the lighting options on each trees. Sending you love and warm Christmas wishes🥰🎄🌲⛄️
🥰🎄❤️ Awww thank you so much for watching!!! I hope it was helpful!!! If it were up to me and we could throw budgets and room size to the wind, I'd say get ALLLL of them 🎄🥳🤣 I hope you find you perfect tree(s) and wish you a beautiful and lovely Christmas!!! Thank you for watching!!! ❤️
I like the cypress ones because they’re so sparse there’s no need to fluff them 🤣 I forced myself to fluff the duchess 🙃 but next year, I think I’ll just let it be unfluffed too because I despise fluffing 🤣
Thank you so much for this video! I wanted to see them all together and wow you did all the work. You are a gem! Just subbed to you love your review and the details you gave on all of them. I just ordered all 3 of the 7.5 trees you showed in this video 🤣.
YESSS!!!!! I'm so excited for you!!! 🎄🎄🎄 It's going to be so amazing having all three, you're going to love them all!!! I swear each of them just have their own vibe going, so grabbing all 3 sounds like you made the perfect decision!!! ❤️🥰 Thank you so much for watching and joining the channel!!! Hope you have a lovely and merry Christmas with your new beautiful trees!!! 🎄❤️🥳
Great comparisons! I found your vid when looking for a review of the Walmart cypresses. I wanted to know how they would handle ornaments.😂. They are closer to what I grew up with(cedars) and evoke nostalgia and memories of going out each yr and cutting our own tree. I just don't think they will mesh with the family ornament situation. The Dutchesses are definitely a fit for your home. Thanks for the thorough comparisons.😊😊😊
Awww thank you for watching!!! ❤️🥰 Haha, the Walmart ones are definitely not ornament friendly lol. I have them up right now as "winter wonderland" trees and after Nov 1, I'll move then around to the corners and put up the Duchesses with all of our ornaments 🎄☺️ . Aw, thank you so much! Sometimes I feel like I go too deep into detail but I'm like these trees are a lot of money so I want to share all the details I can to help someone decide if they think it'll fit their vibe or not. Thank you so much for watching and hope you have a Merry Christmas!!! 🎄
Yes! Perfect description!! The newer LED multi colors are def not that soft old fashioned color. And honestly- after a while with all the colors of the ornaments, bows ribbons and decorations throughout your home, the multi colors even in the older soft color, it’s just too much - it’s not relaxing at all. Many years ago, like the early 2000’s I did a red and white candy cane theme and then visited a friend who had done neutrals of soft champagne and silvers and it was so much more relaxing! I’ve gone to more neutrals and just added pops of color and it’s so much better. Also, with the neutrals, I can change up whatever pops of color I want and they still all go together. Like one year I added in some ice blues and another we did some teal/turquoise, another year a soft plum. They all went beautifully with the background of the neutrals. I have also done all neutrals and just added in winter whites and things that look “snowy” and I think that’s my favorite and kept it up thru January- it was so relaxing and enjoyable.
@@weloverescuedogs2820 Awww your themes sound so beautiful! I love having neutrals as my base because the combinations and possibilities are endless!!! Every year I'm like, oh I don't need anything new and then something always catches my eye so I can't even imagine how tough it would be to blend a lot of colors together without staple neutral pieces.
The Walmart My Texas House trees are warm white, like the traditional white lights that look a little yellow from afar that we're used to from growing up. The Home Depot Grand Duchess Balsam Fir are the newer cool white, LED, "bright lights, big city" white lights. If you want that traditional, old school Christmas mood and you're about the "don't turn on the big light" or "I hate fluorescent lights" vibes then the My Texas House trees are going to be the ones you gravitate towards. If you want bright, the trees are the only light you need in the room and you could still read a menu better than you could at the Cheesecake Factory with all their lights on, then the Home Depot Grand Duchess Balsam Fir will be the one you're looking for.
Does the Grand Duchess look like shiny plastic ? I notice a lot of the trees have that plastic green vinyl look . Don’t look real. Hope not . Was interested in this tree.
The ceilings in the house are 9’ and the living room is a coffered ceiling. When I get home later on this week I’ll double check to see if the coffered ceiling makes a difference and let you know 😊
I finally had a chance to measure and in the living room with the coffered ceiling, the floor to the tallest part of the ceiling is 9.5 feet. The floor to the lowest part of the ceiling (bottom of the beam) is 9 feet.

I definitely like the ‘grand dutches’ of the trees.
Yay!!! Me too!!! 🎄I almost want to just put it up now for the holidays, but I'm going to be strong and leave it in the box for now 🤣

Got the slim dutchess. I feel like the jackson fir tree has better branches and nicer green color. The duchess lights are better tho
The lights truly sell this tree for sure.
I want a tree that I don't have to fluff.

Getting the 7.5ft full this Monday, I’m sooo excited 😭😭. Also your house is beautiful 🤍❤️🤍
Yay!!! Aw!!! I'm so excited for you to get your tree!!!! You're going to love it!!!! And, thank you!!!! ❤🥰❤
The grand trees.. the 9ft height is it from bottom of stand or from the starting branches??
The 9 ft is from the bottom of the stand.
Really liked this video. Answered many questions for me. Also, what is the name/brand of the area rug?
Thank you!!! 🥰 The area rug is an indoor/outdoor rug from Homegoods. The brand is KAS, but I don't know the name of the design or style sadly.
Thank you!

The colored lights they make today dont look like Christmas lights .More like Disney colors!👎🏻 Clear lights the best and looks beautiful!👍🎄🎄🎄
Yes I love the clear lights as well!!! 🎄🎄🎄

Ok so are you decorating all of them because you might want to hire a team 😊they are pretty
🤣 Altering buying all these trees, the only team I can hire has three sets of four legs and works for cheese 🤣🤣🤣
Girl you are a good one 😊
❤️🥰

In my opinion, it doesn't appear to be a shiny plastic to me and it looks realistic.
@ I have since bought it ,and it doesn’t have that vinyl plastic look to it branches . 🌲🌲🌲🎄🎄🎄👍👍👍

I can’t stand the lights wish they sold them with no lights
Oh no, hopefully there's a similar style tree without lights at another store 😬
