"plot" is overrated, characters + relationship well written are more than enough to write a good story. And it's not anime-only, it begins in teather works.
@@caretakerITA Well, if you have good enough characters, their interactions will become the plot. The plot spawns from the characters, not the other way around.
P.s My fav thing about these eps is Mugi's little happy dance when the other 3's forms are accepted and they are all going for the same college. Mugi is pretty childish and we saw how upset she was after their last school performance, so it just makes me happy she can keep her friends close.
One of the specials (or the OVA) sets up the movie so that one should be watched first. But watching them all before the movie is fine, though it's weird watching them after episode 24. I think the specials aired on TV after episode 24 so as long as you know that 24 is essentially the finale that's fine. Also there's 2 manga volumes after the end of the original series that will probably never be animated but they show what happens with the club after everyone but Azusa graduates and also what the other 4 girls end up doing in college.
They'll only need 2 more members. Jun said she'd join if Azusa is alone in the episode where the seniors where on the trip and Ui, Jun, and Azusa hung out. I think they said they had one performance after the festival, hopefully they'll attract some incoming freshmen.
@@zackrose6261 not really in the manga K-On! Highschool UI's instrument is keyboard! Jun in Bass Asunyan in Guitar Sumire in Drums Nao is their Producer and Sawako is still their Adviser of course hahaha
The 3 OVA came out LONG before the movie- it was delayed. The OVA are set before 24 I think- or maybe in the holidays between graduation and college- I forget- but you might as well watch them in the release order, and consider them flashbacks to some events we didnt see if they are set before 24. The movie is last sequentially. Like that summer fest ep you commented it didnt feel like a normal K-on ep - the same is true of the movie- because it you have a big budget and 3 times longer, ofcourse it's not gonna be a normal type ep in the club room- but it's great to see them all in different settings doing different stuff too.
I checked your MAL and I couldn't find an anime called you're a lie in April or Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso, so if you have not watched it I highly recommend it. I would have no idea where it would fit in your schedule though.
Sawa-Chan, kept rejecting their forms because she wanted them to be together for college right?
K-on has basically no plot but this is one of my all time favorite animes! The characters are so well written.

@@kozakos1999 "Plot" is a fuzzy word in general. But yeah, character first, relationship after, and everything else will born from there.

And Ui knows how to play the guitar, better then her sister it seems with that one episode where she stood in place of her sister.
in the manga
when yui and the others passed, besides jun and ui there were 2 more people who entered the club
