      @@canijust101 helmets are good for stopping skull fractures and splitting your head open but do little to stop your brain rattling about in your skull.
      Skate helmets especially lack the buffer zone provided by motorcycle and bicycle helmets tbh skate helmets function a lot more like military helmets which are designed to provide a barrier between the hard thing (shrapnel, low power bullets and/or the curb outside the skatepark) as opposed to bike helmets which are more designed for cushioning your brain.
      Concussions are caused by your brain hitting the side of your skull really hard when you stop suddenly so can be caused by car crashes or falling and hitting your head suddenly.

      @@kelseya9017 generally yes. A lot of what damages prints on shirts is the agitation of the washing cycle but also heat and soap can cause them to break down faster. So generally delicate wash (or handwash it) with soft clothes, and turned inside out with cool or cold water, delicate detergent, and low with short heat or complete air dry is the best bet!

    Wrap your image at least 3-5 times depending on the thickness of the cling film. Heat iron to full power leave at full power for at least 5mins then begin proces. Once image is on shirt or hoodie, let it sit for at least a day indoors, go over with parchment paper next day and let it sit again outdoors on clothes line. It may take longer but its worth it.

    to make the seran wrap shirt work you start of with a couple of layers of seran wrap then place the paper on top (don't fold it in ) then iron it so that the layers of seran wrap melt togheter (here is why you don't fold it on the paper) you actually make the ink stick to the seran wrap so now you can scratch of with water and a spong the paper residue off be carefull because if you dont put enough seran wrap you'll make holes scratching the paper residue off (this technique can be used with acrylic medium aswell (acrylic medium is a product to change the composition of your acrylic paint) for that you just paint a lot of layes on the paper when dry you scratch of the paper with water and a spong)
    now to stick the print on your shirt the best is to have a polyester shirt because plastic sticks to plastic it can be done on coton but it has better results on polyester
    (it's also a matter of testing not everything wil work well not every brand works well either and not everything turns out beautyfull but it can be done)

    There's a special type of paper (and maybe ink?) to use for this. But the plastic wrap thing won't work. Even if you cover enough of the image, water will be able to seep under it since the whole shirt isn't water proof. The only way this might be able to work out is if you went full out extra, and spayed the shirt with some water proofing spray.

    Have you ever tried Spoonflower? You can get any image printed onto fabric, they have a lot of base fabrics to choose from including a cotton knit. They use better quality inks and commercial fabric printing so it's brighter and more durable than inkjet printer ink. You could get your face printed on fabric and then sew that fabric onto shirts or jackets or anything, like a patch.

  • @aspen_fen
    @aspen_fen 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Another way to do this if you want to print is to attach some material to some freezer paper by ironing it onto the waxy side, then print with an ink printer directly onto the material. Make sure to iron it after to make sure it sticks. The only problem with this is that you are limited by the size of your printer. At least I think that's how it works anyway, haven't done it in a while, but there's videos on it

    You can print directly onto fabric but you’d still have to bond it to whatever you wanted it on. Jean jackets are a good item to decorate that way. Essentially you are making patches, then you can sew them on, use heat bond or glue. Could you try the freezer paper method?

    I was thinking about the most durable designs for making graphic tees. That rubber ink stuff always wears off with time. The stuff that is in the cloth itself always lasts longest. So dyes for basic two tone designs, three tone, maybe four, but no small details and a risk of blending unless you maybe rinse each patch separately like in a stretcher to isolate it.
    Also designs woven into the clothing are the best. Love sweaters. Embroidery here too. Since all the colors were dyed and rinsed separately it doesn't mix on the first wash. I'm kind of thinking an embroidery shirt should have the base for the embroidery be made out of that really sparse backing cloth that you use for those embroidery artworks. For winter shirts embroider over heavier cloth. For the heaviest, just use wool to embroider a wool sweater. Add as many layers as desired.

      It's 10 bucks for a pack though, not for a single sheet. And depending on the size of the design you are doing, you might be able to get 2-3 shirts from one sheet of the transfer paper.
