For those paying attention Bonnie Raitt is 66yo in this video. Think about that when you think about your grand/parents at 66. She's a one of a kind masterpiece
Excellent sound; you can here every instrument clearly, every drum has a clean tone. I saw them in Pensacola about 8 yrs. ago and talked to the sound man after the show. The whole crew has been with them for years. That's rare these days. Bonnie never plays the usual guitar cliches, I love her blues playing.
Love Bonnie...your voice and your slide guitar...one of the best... great band, great second guitarist and always a pleasure to see and hear Mike Finnigan on keyboards and vocals. A fan from Brazil
I love Bonnie so much - what an inspiration in every way she is! I've seen her gig a few times and even met her after a show when I flew over to Ireland for the night (from England) to see her - what a lovely person :-)
And she’s so humble, she doesn’t feel like she’s a great singer (but she is!) It’s amazing how ageless she is- i’ve been playing music my whole life - I’m 61, but i started getting her albums when i was in high school in the 1970’s! How does she look half my age, LOL! She’s such a natural and has inspired women musicians who play blues & soul for DECADES! I have quite a few friends who’ve worked well with her, and all who sshe’s really that sweet as she seems on stage. Hutch Hutchinson her bass player, is from here in New Orleans and has been with her almost from the beginning (well, after Freebo.). And I love that she’s not afraid to speak her left wing (aka smart) politics in songs.
Hard to believe Streetlights was her 4th album when it came out in 1974!!! I realized she loved New Orleans early on, when I saw that my neighbor (the late great) Jerry Jumonville played sax on it, and i think she also covered an Allen Toussaint song on that one also. (“What Do You Want the Boy to Do.) 👍👍
thanks for sharing your music Ms Raitt... desde la Sierra Estrella de Arizona mi casa es su casa, hermana carry on, babe... loudly... whenever possible 😉
@Bonnie Raitt we do love you soo much…. Listen to Kirk fleta from Gatlinburg, TN. You have inspired him and he has won so many singer songwriter awards in the mountains of blue smoke. You Definitely! helped me find my passion for singing💋 Angel from Montgomery

Why she would probably have the same ideals as the rest of our country that are Patriots, and love this country, but the media will attempt to destroy her too because they dont like people arresting pedophiles and exposing Hollywood and the media. Try to destroy her just like trump.
ROD Y BONNIE SIEMPREEEEE
@@jensclavin Not to mention, produced her first two albums and played guitar on them as well, as well as most of Little Feat doing studio work on those albums as well. Taking nothing away from Bonnie, she is an original, and eternal. It's just great to hear that Lowell sounding slide on her meticulous guitar work.
Just bought the album that "The Comin' Round is Going Through" is on (Dig in Deep) without even hearing anything on it and I haven't even opened it yet (CD format). Damn! Ranks right up there with "Won't Get Fooled Again" for my favorites songs to play at this time of year.

In some ways, the slide is the true American Sound.......
Amei...
Both Bonnie Raitt and Lowell George have a similar slide style...I've always wondered if they developed together - I know they lived together.....,
Yep. Over 40 years ago. There are several videos of them playing together here on YT.
