Hi, have you tested while running? Is it stable, when it's extended and you are running? I am interesting compared to the bigger stick, how to stabilization is with it, thank you!
Yes, I have. It handles it quite well, but you do notice the movement. My iPhone 15 Pro Max is much better at this, but again, it is bigger than the Action Cam 4, so it's not very ideal to run whilst mounted on a stick. But yeah, the video is quite usable with the Action Cam 4 whilst fully extended and whilst running.
Unlike the Osmo Action 4 the extension rod is not designed to be waterproof. It’s not built to the same standard as there are no chips or wires to be concerned about. So using the rod underwater should not be too bad, but do note that water will seep into the rod and you would need to dry it thoroughly. So use it at your own risk.
Depends on your use case. What do you need it for. More reach the rod is good. More reach with the ability to stand on its own, the mini rod with legs would be the best.
OMG, this video is so helpful! Thanks a lot!
The mini extension rod is much lighter and more convenient. I'm definitely going to buy one.
thank you so much for watching the video. i am glad it helped
Well done my friend! Very interesting video mate 👍😍🔥
thank you!
What’s it like when recording handling the camera. I got a cheaper one I could just hear my hand noise through all the recordings.
i have not had that experience at all
The mini rod should've been in the combo as it is more functional and the same price as the larger one.
@@bansheerider619 I guess a way for them to get more money in
for less than half price you could get the mini tripod for your initial rod. but no ballhead.
From DJI?
hey, great vid, ty very much
Is there any option to combine selfie stick with mini rod
As long as it has a screw on thread
Would you say it feels high quality?
@@camexplora9742 under good lighting, yes
looks great do you use any ND Filters ? or luts ?
@@costtv I have them but never use them. I just have them for photography. For video editing no luts. I just capture and post it as is.
Why you dont buy ulanzi MT 50 its same and cheap than dji mini extention
Cos it is not available in that store and I needed something urgently
Hi, does the 3 prong tongues on the rod fit to 2 prong tongues adapter that sold on the market? I plan to use osmo pocket 3 on it with adapter.
Have not tried that
is there a smart way to adjust the ballhead ? cause i feel like i have to force to much to set it up
Sadly no. You could buy a much better for the same price in eBay or Amazon that has a better ball head

Is it compatible with DJI Action 2?
@@andrea_sassi I do not own the DJI Action 2 so I cannot confirm.
Can you use it for Dji osmo pocket 3?
I do not have the osmo pocket 3 so I cannot test that. If and when I buy the pocket 3, I can check it out.
Does the rod have treading in the bottom?
You can order one from eBay or Amazon
Great advice, thanks

Will this work with action 5?
@@babyboy1971 As long as the magnetic mount does not change, yes
@@BASNYATit didn’t change, it will work. I can’t decide between this and the 1.5m rod that comes in the action combo.
