Good evening Ed. I once saw a skidder that did similar to what you have going on. There was a piece of shop towel in the tank that would get sucked around the intake pipe. We accidentally fixed it by thrashing a busted choker around the tank and snagged the thing.

@@GosselinFarmsEdGosselin Funny story about things in tanks. Cat 993 loader was having low pressure issues on one of the auxiliary pumps. The dealership had just replaced the drive and pumps. Finally got to the point where after they replaced the pump on warranty and it was still the same, we pulled off the suction lines. There was a flashlight stuck in the elbow, with the dealership mechanics name engraved on it. 🤣

Good evening Ed. I just came in. Raked enough for 43 rounds, that all went well enough, I managed to bale up the handle off the jack on the baler, and the last of one twine ball came through in one big snarl. I hope it goes well tomorrow 😊

Oh I forgot the dumest part I got the swather in the yard and found a drive tire going flat I got lucky.... I had just drove 5 miles. That sucks on the big Case my 895 does that every so often too.
@@burrridgefarms I blew a main hydraulic line the other day on the highway, fortunately I was by my brothers place. Sometimes things just work out for a guy.
Sounds similar to the 2090 my brother bought this winter. Starves for fuel after a bit. They have a "sock" on the fuel line intake in the tank. Had to remove the tank to get it out but that still hasn't completely cured it. New lift pump and filters and still not right. He is thinking maybe an air leak in the plastic fuel line. To be continued I guess.
@@roosty6 I would think it would show a little fuel seepage, but have seen lines suck air and not leak fuel.. I'm hoping to blow some air in from the end of the line and clear it.. it acts like a chunk is actually in the end of the line.. If nothing else, bust it up so it can get through the line and catch it in the screen. Hope your brother can get it figured out!! Thank you Roosty!

When was the last time the lift pump was replaced? It might have a pin hole in it any white smoke at all like it was sucking air. My pick up had plastic fuel lines with quick connects the oil rings started leaking bipassed that junk no issues now
well my 2 cents are check any banjo bolts on yer fuel system as thats where crap gathers and then after that my worst fuel chase was a de-lamenated rubber line from tank to lift pump, once it got pulling it would collaps the inside of the hose but from the outside it looked fine, i had set up a can of diesel with its own line to the pump to rule out tank
@@piperdoug428 plastic line from tank to the bowl. Primer pump will move fuel for a few pumps then just a dribble.. wait a few seconds and it will pump again.. Had the rubber lines do that..
