Learn all about the joining comma and how to use commas with coordinating conjunctions (FANBOYS). The joining comma is used to join two complete sentences into a single sentence before a coordinating conjunction (for, and, nor, but, or, yet, so).

Having watched your videos in regard to apostrophes, periods, dashes, semicolons, quotation marks, question marks, and exclamation marks, I can definitely state that commas are undoubtedly in the first place in terms of complexity.

When correcing the comma splice sentence, there's also another way of fixing it by puttin a semicolon between the two independent clauses
