The guy with blonde hair that you are referring to is RM, their leader. He is a rapper and one of the the main songwriters of BTS. He is a master of wordplay, and the genius behind the content of BTS songs, along with the other 2 rappers (Suga and J-hope). Yes, they write most of their songs themselves.

After living together almost half their lives, 11-12 years, they function like a well oiled machine....they're so talented that they are able to just have fun....I'll bet they can read each other's thoughts, finish each other's sentences. I'm 65, but I am so impressed with their talent, brilliant songwriting, composing, producing, instruments, vocals, rapping, dancing and especially their message. I'm impressed that they were able to accomplish so much while still continuing their education...all have bachelors, 3 have masters and the rest are working on it. BTS is unique in that their Label, unlike other Kpop Labels, did not 'force' anything on them....they were given free reign and became successful through their own hard work and dedication...very unusual in the Kpop industry, which can be an awful business to be in. Labels have been accused of 'slave' contracts and fandom 'wars' have brought about false accusations and death threats....yet BTS persists. I'm going to look back through your videos, but I've already gone ahead and subscribed....looking forward to your journey and best of luck in building your channel. ARMY grandma

BTS give of an energy that hits you in the heart. It doesn't matter if they are singing, dancing or just being themselves around eachother. They fuel positivity in our lives.
Once you listen to them without prejudice and open you mind to them you see why they are where they DESERVE to be.
Their company is always this detailed, but they aren't, when they don't want to be. The first rapper is RM. Their harmonies are always incredible. They've been doing this together for ten years. Jimin does indeed have an incredibly unique voice. Could pick him out of a crowd for sure. Yes, we totally get what you are saying and we agree. Never seen six such hot hypemen before 😉 They definitely always seem like they're having fun in their concerts.

All of them have a custom mic color and (mostly) matching in-ear (I think JK's in-ears are sometimes red and blue instead of purple). The outfit coordination is more a function of their Big Hit team, I think, alhough they do have preferred colors (Jin likes to wear pink, for example, because ARMYs have told him they like how he looks in it). What impresses me (from a fashion perspective) is that they always manage to coordinate beautifully without being matchy-matchy (except in the very beginning, when matching was pretty much all they could afford).
yeah its crzy they'll do studio adlibs live as hypemen during the others verse! or vocalists will sing the rap and harmonize with the rapper to accentuate that part of the verse. theyre incredible live, seriously

When i used to watch american talk shows i used to see clips of bts interviews since 2018 but i never thought of checking them out but then covid came, our lives slowed down and at that time i saw a clip of bts and jimin caught my attention. His voice was so unique and he led me to the best 7 people iv ever known. But still jimin is like my baby.
I have learned over the years that if A LOT of people love something and say it's good, there is probably a reason for it.
Best medley ever. Their vocals, the rap. Just having fun. This FESTA made specially for ARMY and they picked such amazing songs. Always perfect outfits, their mics, ear pieces, everything is always perfectly planned and done. RM always have that strong voice and presence, they are extremeley talented: the 3 rappers and 4 vocalists. I love this set cause you can hear their amazing voices so clear. I just discovered them during pandemic. Refusing for so many years to listen to K pop or BTS. Now I regret I didn´t listen to them before but it has been so much fun. True: they are phenomenal.
Great to see you enjoying all of their individual talents and harmonies. The vocal line has a few great numbers like The Truth Untold. Each of them also do solos as well. Jimin live performance of Serendipity and Lie as especially good.
There are 4 main singers and 3 main rappers. However they can all sing and rap. They are fabulous! I am 66 years old and I am amazed by them. All their songs have meaning from money to mental health ( Suga suffers from depression and is very open about it). I like that they take topics that mean something to them and make music about them.

Second, you'll be pleasingly surprised once you start discovering more of their music and what they can do as performers. Since you are willing to know more, I will give you some info to start: So the vid you just watched is part of the content they did in celebration for their 8th anniversary as a group last year, and as you can see, it's a compilation of some of the amazing songs they've released. They showed the info of each one on the video, but since some of it was written in korean, I will tell you here in english, in order:

What sets BTS apart is how much fun they have together. They genuinely see each other as brothers and lived together for years. They've only fairly recently moved into their own apartments. Seven young men living in a tiny apartment and sleeping in one room as they did at the beginning should've been a recipe for disaster but their CEO Ban Si-hyuk gave them a way to settle disputes which made them stronger. You'll enjoy learning about them as people just as much as learning about them as artists.
One of the beauties of Room is that except for Save me, the entire set was B sides.

A similar performance to this one, where they're just sitting down singing is one called "armypedia" . Its one comprised of all their older songs but with their more mature voices so its a great vocal performance fr, I highly suggest it since you like to listen to their voices and cadences😁🙌🏾💜
Loved your reaction dude! I too "didn't know". I went down the rabbit hole a couple years ago and I haven't made it out since. These guys are absolutely incredible. This MV came out during all the lock-downs and it was their only way to "communicate" with ARMY. I liken their set to a living room. They're just chilling/jamming over at somebody's house, singing some songs, dancing, just having fun. They're incredible. I subscribed to your channel. I am really anxious to see more BTS reactions. I can never say it better than other ARMYs about the details but I’ve been ARMY for 3.5 yrs and I was like ‘Wo who is THIS?’ when I saw them first on SNL IN 2019. I’m sad I didn’t know of them before, truly sad!!! They are indeed special - and I’m so glad I found them. Not only are they just amazing artists but they are great PEOPLE. We need more people like them.
Omg… I went to the same situation.. 2017 a teenager was into BTS and was like nope no way.. they too cute and young!! I too old… but 2020 a co-worker told me to watch dynamite.. I was kinda hooked. Then when a watched the tiny desk concert and fell in love with them. I actually got to know their faces and their voices. My proudest moment was when I knew who was singing without seeing who it was!! ❤

Everything you see with them is real: they always have a good time and genuinely like one another. They are fabulous performers and as good as their recordings, their live performances are even better, There are phenomenal performers. How can you watch them and not have a great time. And alot of their songs have deep meanings and messages.
They never settle, always trying to improve. And really have a special relationship with their fans who they always credit with their popularity. And they are very humble, never take anything for granted. They work and train extremely hard. And their dancing is also top level professional.

They have billions fans and I have not been able to enlighten even one of my friends or family to ARMY. No matter how many videos I post or how much I share, they refuse to even listen to even one song. It's horrifying because they are so good. They have (like many of us had) a preconceived notion that they were just a cute Kpop boy band. I'm so incredible inspired by them and they have improved my life immensely by the medicine it delivers to my brain and frankly, the hope for our future that opens my heart. Welcome to the Army! BTS' discography (300+ songs) has something for everyone. I enjoy the banger title tracks, but IMO the treasure is in the B-sides. I found kpop in 2010, and when BTS debuted in 2013, I fell in love. fell into the rabbit hole, and can't get out.

RM (Namjoon real name): the blond guy rapping, the leader of BTS, composer and producer.
JungKook aka. JK: purple mic- lead singer he is know as the golden maknae since he is the youngest of all and is very talented in everything. His vocals are the most stable of all bts members you will almost never hear a mistake form JK
V (Taehyung): Green mic, he is a baritone form the vocal line, he likes jazz, soul and R&B music
Jimin- Blond hair with silver mic. Jimin has an angel voice, very unique and has a degree in contemporary dance
Jin- light green mic. He is the oldest of the group, he mostly sings ballads. Jin learned to dance and sing when he was 20, so he has "less" experience than the other members.
Suga aka. Agust D- also has a silver mic but brown hair. He is part of the rapline, also composer and producer.
Jhope aka Hobi- blond that dresses like a sailor scout. Part of the rapline, has a background of hiphop, lead dancer of the group.

New subscriber here. I'm glad you loved them. Like everyone who ever listens to them without prejudice, they'll definitely love them. They have this aura, lyrics, vocals, rap and especially the personalities that can capture people and by the time you find them, you'll feel why you're late to discover the magic of Bangtan boys. Better late than never. I found them.. nah, they found me in 2015, when I was hitting the rock bottom in my life and their music, lyrics, personalities and their words to never give up in life and that they're with me together in the darkest path of my life, helped me in various unexplainable ways, and now I'm the happiest I've ever been in life. It's just a blessing for me to have known these amazing boys who made me love and believe in myself and work hard to chase my dreams and here i am.
when it comes to their music, they're very purposeful... intentional... crazy details and lots of practice. ;) outside of it, they're quite random and spontaneous... hahaha they're awesome.

I can totally relate to your ending comments. I feel like I was living under a rock for all the years that I had heard of BTS but decided to not check them out because I'm not really a fan of pop music. They are sooooooo much more. 💜💜💜

I recommend 2 live performances: Armypedia (its the ~11 min video) or Proof Live. For the Proof live, they do talk in the middle and you can definitely watch that because it's entertaining but if you don't want to you can skip. But PLEASE make sure you watch the performance at the end too (they do three songs total). Btw 'Proof' is the name of their recent anthology album.
I'm very happy that u like and enjoying BTS. If u get into them u'll never regret that. They are not only great artists but they are great from both outside and inside too. They are so different from other artists. And the best thing abt BTS is they write and produce their own songs which is very rare in kpop industry. They have 300+ songs so u have a long journey

I've kind of learned that if there's hype around something, there's probably a reason for that. So whenever something gets really popular nowadays I try to look into it instead of being dismissive. There's always a possibility of discovering things that you come to love beyond words. BTS is one of those things for me. I can't express how much I love them or how much joy they've brought to my life. The only thing I regret is not finding them sooner. ARMYs always say you find BTS when you need them, and usually I agree, but personally I needed them way sooner lmao.
Enjoy this. They are truly such a pleasure to be a fan of. They are funny, talented, and kind individuals who have made such a huge impact on so many people's lives. Good reactions so far. I'm glad to hear that you consider yourself a fan already. Keep going please!

It's so fun to watch someone give BTS a chance and then fall in love with them. But don't beat yourself up about not giving them a chance earlier. I think much of the music or artists that we listen to are WYSIWYG - what you see is what you get. But BTS is more like Dr. Who's Tardis or the tents in Harry Potter. From the outside, it looks ordinary and predictable, but once you open the door and enter, it's a whole wonderful magical world. The diversity of song genres, the range of their talent, the amazing performances and videos, their genuine fun personalities, and the relationship between them and Army make it all so different. And there are many doors that open to the big world of BTS. For many TH-camrs, it often comes as requests in the comments section. Now that you're on the BTS journey, you can wander through the comments or ask for specific suggestions. Armys are like master sommeliers - they can suggest content that meet your interests.
