Thank you for this good video. but I as begginer, I wished for something a bit different! In all the videos that talk about new additions and tools in Photoshop, the video explainer quickly goes through the list of tools on the left. We see the speaker's hand suddenly selecting something from the list, but we do not know which tool was chosen, because it happens very quickly. We need a video that introduces us to the left bar tools in Photoshop. When the speaker explains the tool, we hope that he mentions its name and clearly shows us the tool he chose. It is better for the screen image to be enlarged so that the chosen tool becomes clear. Perhaps it would be better for you to consider making a video for us specializing in the tools related to artificial intelligence, which are located on the left side of Photoshop. A lot of us beginners really need this.
I played around with it the whole day. It's really good in removing things like a better version of the content aware fill. But it's generations are most of the time pretty mediocre in my opinion. Of course you can have lucky hits, but if you're used to Stable Diffusion with ControlNet this isn't by far not that good in 9 out of 10 times. Especially persons and faces are horrible out of this. But for a public beta this is still quite cool and will probably get way better with time.
It works well within inpainting, it's just not as smooth as Photoshop's selection tools. I made a video on Stable diffusion inside Photoshop. Now that's where it's at, even though that particular one was buggy. I've been meaning to check out another one.
I don't get how you're able to type in what you want into what you selected, I'm not given the option to type anything. Just shows me some tools that are already on the left
Wait how did you generate that fantastic image of yourself in Stable Diffusion? I need that for professional pictures 😂 But really, some info on that would be very much appreciated! Thanks for this video as well, really cool to see this stuff in actual use and not just in their own trailers!
That was from a Dreambooth model of me. I made a video on that many months ago, it's still viable but a lot of people prefer Lora these days. Thank you for the comment!
Those are also available in our fantastic tool Stable diffusion. I love seeing new features in all the applications, especially ones that focus more on user experience. Hopefully more developers of SD interfaces can find ways to implement better UI/UX.
I love your videos. I've watched a lot of them. In today's video, you didn't show firefly the ability to modify hand posture, which I was curious about, because this is a weakness of SD. In addition, do you think the official version of Firefly will replace SD in the future? Will it lead to people learning SD learning for nothing?
Thank you! So happy that you're enjoying the content. I haven't tested hands much yet, will have to try that. I don't see it replacing SD, as it's restrictive. Both will have their uses. However the tools with easiest and best user interfaces will get the majority of users.

I used the selection tool but the generative fill box does not pop up? Do I need to install it on photoshop?
You got to install the beta version of Photoshop. Check left side in your creative cloud app.

Would be great to see how you would do the same in A1111 and Stable Diffusion + Addons. I guess it would take more time, but allow more freedom.

This is a feature of Adobe Sensei which Adobe has been developing for about 10 years.

i got PS beta, but when i make a selection there's no generate fill button in the new bar. Why is that
Adobe tools mixed with seems to be a very well trained SD in one need package, next level stuff...

The results are pretty bad, but at least it seems easy to use.
