Sounds better than modern ones. And they don't have the cooling fan motor fridge thing running all the time which gives me a headache and affects sleep. A cooling fan only needs to be on when the lift is being operated. My modern Otis with the fan engine on all day and night all week 24 hours a day makes living conditions hell, pure hell. Maybe that's got one as well?
