bought a 72 cb450 new in 73 in 74 I rode it from Detroit to aspen and back. at 80 mph. then up and down aspen mountain every day for a week on the lift access trails. camped on top of the mountain at 11,200 ft. had to rev it to 3500 rpm to get any power up there. abused the bike and it did not faulter. after that trip I was bored with it and it sat then I sold it to friends who beat on it some more. great bike. eventually bought an 83 Kow Kz1100 spectre.
@@navscycles In that condition? All the ones I buy go straight to my mechanic/restoration king. Would I ever try it on a CB450? No. They were very unpopular even on release and almost no one wants these in Australia. Here all CB's have to be 350, 400, 500 and 750. They are extremely popular and very saleable.
Hopefully soon. Been waiting for parts for part 2. And I’m also trying to dial my other bikes in before I tear this one apart. Probably will be torn down to the frame for paint and blasting. Definitely will take time.

They are still affordable but hard to find it seems. I have more trouble finding 450s than any of the others
@@navscyclesso it's worth to get 450, I will try hard to have one
Yah it’s a great bike. Hard to find but when you do find them they aren’t too expensive
