Hey y'all. I just wanted to say don't get discouraged by seeing all them sweet cymbals Cooper has. I remember about 5 or 6 years ago when I started out drumming (I'm 19) I only ever dreamed of having such awesome cymbals. I started out on those really crappy cymbals that come with a cheaper kit. Fortunately, with time I got a job and worked my butt off to get what I wanted. I now have two A custom crashes, A custom Mastersound hi hat, and A sweet ride. You will get there one day and I believe in you!
I saved up money from 5 years old to 10 years old to get a customs
I really wish I can get money so I can buy the equipment I want like cymbals, drum heads, and definitely a pearl drum set
+XAVIER DRUMM3R This is just personal preference, but you should look into Gretsch or Ludwig! Great kits!
Xavier I watch your videos and I think that you are a good drummer and you deserve a new drum set and new cymbals but be greatful you have zildgian cymbals and a mapex drum set.
Drums for Life Gretsch Drums, Aquarian Drum Heads, and Paiste Cymbals have to be the top companies, honestly. So much quality!

I bought the A Custom Rezo's. I really like them. Never really been a K man myself!!! I am a A man. But to each his own. They are all nice cymbals!!!!

I think the A Customs are my favourite cymbals ever!

I have 2 and I am very happy with them. Remember someone who is amazing with two cymbals, is better than someone who is okay with 40. Just playing like a beast. No one will care that you don't have 45 cymbals.

I remember when I unboxed my Zildjian cymbals, I lit a Montecristo 2 cigar and a nice cappuccino and just stared at them before placing them on my kit. It’s a special time, when you’ve just spent 2 grand

for cool lighter sound with my cymbal set up, I bought a kit that came with a cymbal pack and one of them was a 14in crash, a week later I bought a set if 14in hats, and to change sound and show my own creations I used the 14 crash on the high hats, it gives a crazy sound when open, and instead of a bell on top of the ride or a crash I use a spash on my ride, all sorts of ideas for you guys
I really like the China crash, and all the other crashes too. As a drummer I really like the crashes

Beauty cymbals those session hats are sick. If you get a chance try out a 20 kerope(thinner) as a crash or crash/ride. I picked up a 20 and had to get an 18 both great dark n different sound options !!

It must be nice to have sponsors. I'm so poor that I can't even afford to replace the horrible Sabian Solars that I am using. I'd give my left nut to have some new cymbals. Hell, I can't even afford new drum heads for my shitty used no-name kit. Videos like these are depressing. I don't even know why I watch them anymore.

E-Tube 315 Absolutely, I agree. And it sucks, but if you aren’t willing to wait, how bad do you want it? I saved for years to get my DWs and Zildjian Ks. Worth the wait. Make do with cheap, and then start storing money for the dream kit.
Good thing to do as a musician is learn a trade, I do massage therapy and make enough to at least have a decent kit and be able to buy new toys, downside i work alot and have less time for practicing and doing shows, but i still do alot of shows. I guess what I'm saying is hard work and literally no sleep might help you out, but ni sleep sucks lol

I love the Zil bell. I over use mine way to much lol. You could say that I'm about like Cobus when it comes to bells. Nice kit as well. Excited to see more of what is to come.

Can you do a lesson on how to get different sounds out of a drum kit? i've always wanted the drum sound from the album diamond eyes by deftones but i can't figure out what to do with the eq and tuning and all that. Some songs this drum kit is included is "You've Seen the Butcher" and "Risk".

That's not what he means at all XD. He means for storage, but also Khalil Manuel, he's not storing them in those bags, he's just keeping them there for the vid then gonna change bags, he's keeping them in there so no fingerprints get on them or anything.

Why don't you use Istanbul cymbals? They're handmade. I think you can try them.. :)
+tugberk ozkara He really likes Zildjian (with good reason) and he's endorsed by them so he's only allowed to use Zildjian cymbals but he gets them cheaper and probably can try out new ones early. Istanbul are great though.

BRUH, he only used 7 Cymbals. SEVEN - I used 4 Cymbals once, but that was back in 2014, I stopped drumming in 2017, though :/. I have plans on getting back to it, but it's on IDH (Indefinite Hold)
