As one goes through the setup phases of Respondus or Honorlock, the camera will take your photo, a picture of your photo ID and will ask for a room scan. It is very apparent when one is being filmed.
Can i tilt the camera upwards a bit? my face will be showing but i don't want it to capture my hands writing my equations and stuff. Is it possible to do that? you know why i'm asking

It is easier than picking up a laptop and moving it around. It was also suggested by the Respondus people themselves. They showed using a mirror to survey the student testing area on a free webinar.
If the web camera is detachable it is easy to survey the area. Just don't get tempted to move the camera once the test has started....that might earn a "0" on the test, particularly if the student face is not visible.

Attempt to keep your face squarely in the middle of the camera view, have good lighting and don't put your hands over your mouth in the test. Be diligent in reading and answering the questions. Bathroom breaks ahead of time; not during the test.

Does Respondus only do the lockdown for a quiz or exam for one class or does it do a lockdown for all classes even if they don't use Respondus?

This thing has a lot of technical issues
I am running Respondus + webcam on a cheap (but recently purchased) HP laptop and it works fine. I have strong wi-fi....that helps too.
Shoud you take mirro and do that too? Because I people told me they didnt do that they just take camera and show table and around what it is.
