Steve, thank you for sharing your story and perspective. I know a lot of people on the internet are tearing down Mark but when I talk to people in person in Maryland, they all say that he was a major part of why the Ravens were in the playoffs.
100% I felt gutted for Mark and I am a Bills fan. He didn't deserve all the hate and threats he got. He was being scapegoated for the loss and they ignored all the other reasons the Ravens lost that game. It was way more than just one play. Just a shame how he was treated when he is an all time Ravens legend. Leads the Ravens franchise in touchdowns, led the team in TDs multiple times including this year, and has been Lamar's go to guy since they've been in the league. But everyone wanted to seem to forget that and wants him gone.
Shoutout to Mark Andrews. Fans are fickle. But I hope he balls out next year and shuts them up.

That game against the Panthers had me so pumped my G,I was tellin everyone ta ice up the while next week, as I look back now they probably thought somethin was wrong with me😂! Mark has been top 3 at his position for the last half decade. He had a rough game but he’s an all time Ravens legend. Shouldn't be getting scapegoated for the loss. The hate and threats he was getting across social media was disgusting. Dude has been Lamar’s go to guy since they’ve been in the league. He is your franchise leader in touchdowns. And that’s how you treat him. It's sad.

I have no ill will towards Mark. None of us are perfect and we all make mistakes. He is human just like the rest of us. I don’t care how much money he makes everyone make mistakes. It is what is. I’m over the loss and I have moved on as a fan.

As a fan of Smitty it was that deep ball as a Raven against the Broncos that would’ve been a touchdown is the drop I remember most from his career.

Mark Andrews always fails in the playoffs. Zero touchdowns and his drop rate skyrockets. He’s probably better off playing for another franchise, otherwise John Harbaugh will have another built in excuse

@@larry2281 Lamar played no factor in Andrews game, yea Lamar has his own issues but we're not in that game without Lamar. Andrews had some costly mistakes, I don't think the drop was even the most costly. It was the fumble, we were going down to score and we're in FG range with that catch.

@ we don’t know how hard someone was or was not performing. We can only look at the performance itself. The fact that he’s supposed to be the all time TD scoring leader for the Ravens makes it that much worst. I don’t know anything about any death threats. People swear they get death threats for anything. Andrews fumble and dropped 2 point conversion literally ended the Ravens season. Just because y’all like him don’t change the fact of the matter. Hell if you can’t take the pressure should’ve picked a different sport.
