Why is she so genuine? I don’t know her or know what’s in her heart but the energy emanating when she talks about anything it’s authentic with no pretension what so ever. I’ve met a select few like that but nowadays you can’t watch a woman or a man doing an interview without sensing some type of facade or a guise they hide behind. Wow this was beautiful to watch, teared up. It’s wonderful to see a man like George be so sensitive to the holy spirit and submit to Gods leadership. All marriages present challenges of some sorts but i recently asked my husband why he is so good to me and he could have answered something cheesy and flattering which i would have hated but he said “because Jesus told me to” and this phrase just blew me away. A man being so obedient to what Jesus told him to do, i felt like God was hugging me all over again with my husband (like you mentioned it felt after you got married). Your story of the quick decision, wanting to honor God even if it doesn’t fit your own plans, and experiencing a lot of turbulence from both side of the family mirrors my husband and I’s story exactly. We are 6 months in and the Lord has blessed us immensely. The road from our decision to get married right away to the actual wedding was very hard and very emotional. We received so much pushback and hurtful things were said to us. We pushed through because we already knew what God said and that was most important. I recently got married and just wanted to bless you with a little something we got taught through months of pre-marriage counselling through our church. Ephesians 5:25-27. When it speaks about husbands loving their wives as Christ loves the church. The love we have for our wives is not a transactional love but a sacrificial love. Christs love is our measuring stick for how we love not how much our wife loves us or looks beautiful or cleans the house. That sets her free from thinking she needs to earn it. When she is having a bad day or season we love her just the same. She is totally set free from having to make sure she is up to scratch to earn it each day and us as a man have God as our ultimate example of how to love. Man, I totally know how he feels being able to baptize his best friend, earlier this year, I was given the same opportunity by God. At the beginning of his journey, he was lost and was experimenting with different religions, I would invite him to the young adults group we have at my church, and I would often get frustrated and impatient with him trying to help him understand the Gospel and in that process I would be condemning at times and it took God to tell me I was trying to save him myself and not letting God work in him. It was extremely difficult to let go, but it taught me to trust Gods provision. All I could do was pray for him; it was a long, almost yearlong journey of watching his faith in God grow and watching God soften his heart and change him. The day I found out he was getting baptized was when we were at the annual young adults camping trip, We had planned to have baptisms on Saturday, and I didn't find out he wanted to get baptized until about five minutes before, When he told me, I was filled with so much joy and excitement. I sprinted to the beach where we were going to do the baptisms, I was originally going to only be taking photos of the baptism, but once he got in the water, my friend and the leader of our group had asked me to get in the water! I threw my camera down in the sand, not thinking about anything else, and then to top it off, they asked ME to pray over him, so me attempting to pray absolutely bawling my eyes out, struggling to get the words out. and putting him in the water and watching him come out of the water was so LIFE CHANGING. The spirit was really with us in that moment, and the impact the spirit had was amazing, as about 5 bystanders had also wanted to get baptized. So to George, I am extremely happy to hear that you had the greatest day in your life as you baptized your best friend and get married in the same day. May God bless you and keep you, I pray your marriage will be spirit filled and you will bear many fruit. Praise God!

You do realize that Jesus himself said "Whoever believes in me shall not perish, but have eternal life". He didn't say "Whoever believes in me and does this and doesn't do this and does this and this and follows these rules" no.. he said WHOEVER BELIEVES IN ME SHALL NOT PERISH. Also, EVERYTHING IS OKAY IN MODERATION. Jesus himself turned water into wine. Last time I checked, wine can make you drunk because it's still alcohol. They drank at celebrations and weddings even back in Jesus day. Because guess what, that water into wine happened AT A WEDDING. If Paul says "If you do x y and z you won't go to heaven" but Jesus never says that, then don't take Paul's word for it. Take Jesus word for it. Jesus makes the rules, not Paul. Last supper, they drank wine which can make you drunk.
Also if you haven't watched the other episodes with Cliffe, he literally asks about smoking weed. He says he doesn't do it often, just here and there to celebrate something or to chill out, and Cliffe himself says moderation and still having control over your actions is what's important. As long as you don't get to the point where you can no longer control yourself, you're fine.

Balancing verses about grace and mercy and being saved simply by believing with verses like "be holy as I am holy" and " if you love me, keep my commandments" and "be perfect as your father in heaven is perfect " and "shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? God forbid." and "be not drunk with wine but be filled with the Spirit".

I’m a fan….but it is just so hard that they begin out talking about how God really solidified things to a whole new level spiritually after marriage and George said he was pushing his own evil thoughts rather than God’s thoughts on marriage and they are crying with how much God has done for them when they acted in obedience and then shift into talking about getting drunk and smoking up which clearly is not biblical or Godly. Just because you enjoy it and it relaxes you does not make it right. It is like they had this beautiful marriage and then went and smoked up like heathens. It is unbelievable. I wonder…..if they watch this back and listen to themselves do they not see how in the face of God this is? We already have 2 kids, a house and a couple years ago, Christ found us and made us brand new, but we weren’t married. Before Christ, him and I both swore we would never get married since we were already pretty much 1, just without marriage, and then God came in, and changed our lives and our minds! My husband and i dated for 7 years and now been married for 7, raising 2 little kids now. All marriages present challenges of some sorts but i recently asked my husband why he is so good to me and he could have answered something cheesy and flattering which i would have hated but he said “because Jesus told me to” and this phrase just blew me away. A man being so obedient to what Jesus told him to do, i felt like God was hugging me all over again with my husband (like you mentioned it felt after you got married). Your story of the quick decision, wanting to honor God even if it doesn’t fit your own plans, and experiencing a lot of turbulence from both side of the family mirrors my husband and I’s story exactly. We are 6 months in and the Lord has blessed us immensely. The road from our decision to get married right away to the actual wedding was very hard and very emotional. We received so much pushback and hurtful things were said to us. We pushed through because we already knew what God said and that was most important. I recently got married and just wanted to bless you with a little something we got taught through months of pre-marriage counselling through our church. Ephesians 5:25-27. When it speaks about husbands loving their wives as Christ loves the church. The love we have for our wives is not a transactional love but a sacrificial love. Christs love is our measuring stick for how we love not how much our wife loves us or looks beautiful or cleans the house. That sets her free from thinking she needs to earn it. When she is having a bad day or season we love her just the same. She is totally set free from having to make sure she is up to scratch to earn it each day and us as a man have God as our ultimate example of how to love. I pray that you be Gods hands, His ears, His voice and His servant in your wife’s life. God bless everything the two of you do !! My life changed when I got rid of the bondage of weed. It happened months before I got married to my husband. One step at a time. Sanctification.
Man, I totally know how he feels being able to baptize his best friend, earlier this year, I was given the same opportunity by God. At the beginning of his journey, he was lost and was experimenting with different religions, I would invite him to the young adults group we have at my church, and I would often get frustrated and impatient with him trying to help him understand the Gospel and in that process I would be condemning at times and it took God to tell me I was trying to save him myself and not letting God work in him. It was extremely difficult to let go, but it taught me to trust Gods provision. All I could do was pray for him; it was a long, almost yearlong journey of watching his faith in God grow and watching God soften his heart and change him. The day I found out he was getting baptized was when we were at the annual young adults camping trip, We had planned to have baptisms on Saturday, and I didn't find out he wanted to get baptized until about five minutes before, When he told me, I was filled with so much joy and excitement. I sprinted to the beach where we were going to do the baptisms, I was originally going to only be taking photos of the baptism, but once he got in the water, my friend and the leader of our group had asked me to get in the water! I threw my camera down in the sand, not thinking about anything else, and then to top it off, they asked ME to pray over him, so me attempting to pray absolutely bawling my eyes out, struggling to get the words out. and putting him in the water and watching him come out of the water was so LIFE CHANGING. The spirit was really with us in that moment, and the impact the spirit had was amazing, as about 5 bystanders had also wanted to get baptized. So to George, I am extremely happy to hear that you had the greatest day in your life as you baptized your best friend and get married in the same day. May God bless you and keep you, I pray your marriage will be spirit filled and you will bear many fruit. Praise God!

I am concerned Cliffe is just not actually discipling or confronting them about sin. He was with Intervarsity campus ministry for a lot of years, and it's probably gone woke. It's caused them to cave to evolution. Have they caved on sin and holiness?
You do realize that Jesus himself said "Whoever believes in me shall not perish, but have eternal life". He didn't say "Whoever believes in me and does this and doesn't do this and does this and this and follows these rules" no.. he said WHOEVER BELIEVES IN ME SHALL NOT PERISH. Also, EVERYTHING IS OKAY IN MODERATION. Jesus himself turned water into wine. Last time I checked, wine can make you drunk because it's still alcohol. They drank at celebrations and weddings even back in Jesus day. Because guess what, that water into wine happened AT A WEDDING. If Paul says "If you do x y and z you won't go to heaven" but Jesus never says that, then don't take Paul's word for it. Take Jesus word for it. Jesus makes the rules, not Paul. Last supper, they drank wine which can make you drunk.
Also if you haven't watched the other episodes with Cliffe, he literally asks about smoking weed. He says he doesn't do it often, just here and there to celebrate something or to chill out, and Cliffe himself says moderation and still having control over your actions is what's important. As long as you don't get to the point where you can no longer control yourself, you're fine.

Balancing verses about grace and mercy and being saved simply by believing with verses like "be holy as I am holy" and " if you love me, keep my commandments" and "be perfect as your father in heaven is perfect " and "shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? God forbid." and "be not drunk with wine but be filled with the Spirit".

I’m a fan….but it is just so hard that they begin out talking about how God really solidified things to a whole new level spiritually after marriage and George said he was pushing his own evil thoughts rather than God’s thoughts on marriage and they are crying with how much God has done for them when they acted in obedience and then shift into talking about getting drunk and smoking up which clearly is not biblical or Godly. Just because you enjoy it and it relaxes you does not make it right. It is like they had this beautiful marriage and then went and smoked up like heathens. It is unbelievable.
