That carpark is a terrible use of land. Should be a multi-storey, with offices etc. People have to walk for miles through the carpark from the station to the offices. Cars don't use trains, so why have them near it? And if it's for commuting, then again reduce the walk, increase the "people" use, and build a multi-storey.
If you're going to build an at-grade car park, it should be fully covered by solar panels and cabling should be installed for electric charging at every parking space. Doesn't need fast charging, 22kw is plenty for an all-day carpark. But also should be set up for tap and go with a credit or debit card. No app required! Such short term thinking.
Thanks for the update Colin
You don't realise how high the rail viaduct is until you see the trucks next to it.
Looks more like Carpark Station.
1.03 into your clip , Are they preparing to lay track ?
Yes, i think so in certain parts of the line I think Luddenham station is bit behind schedule business park station looks to powering ahead
'business park'.... who names these things.
Why, what's the problem with that name ? After all their will be business built in those locations on the airport grounds
@ places should have proper names. Business park is a function, it isn’t a proper name.
Nor is Central @@karlcx but around airports it works.
