More reliable than 3.5 eco boost I would say. It sounds like a lot of bad problems but most of these parts are relatively inexpensive and easy to get compared to the newer gen2 people call it raptor tax end of the day its still a ford but when well maintained the gen1 raptors last a long time

Everything on this list, minus the fuse issue, is typical of any hard use vehicle. The issues are avoided through routine maintenance..
