    What a day you had here! Caught my first striper today using a ben parker, thanks to your tips! Gonna try herring soon and see how that goes. I’m hooked! Thanks Jack!

      @@jollington hey that’s awesome!! It’s addictive and now is the best time of the year to catch the stripers on artificial lures!

    love your videos! the only reason i started doing videos is because no one would show the actual hit. it was always "we join the battle in progress". your videos show the hits!

    you should do an episode on catching bait on lake lanier. as much as i love the guys at oakwood bait and tackle, it's getting expensive

    Awesome video! Are you spot locking or slowly bumping around one your down lines are set?

      Hi Marcos, depends on the situation, rod/reel, etc. I created a video a few months ago highlighting all the tackle / rigging I used for live bait setups.

      Hey Gavin thanks, outside of what’s on the videos not much to add. Definitely check out Oakwood striper club and try enough you will get one!! Good fishing

    Another banger man! 2021 has been a great striper year for numbers, and the size on Lanier seems to be improving.
    Question, do you think the tiger lite is as good for downlines as the ugly stik striper rods? It would be nice to have a setup that could do both live and artificial

    • @theoriginalcaptjack
      @theoriginalcaptjack  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey thanks, yes it has. Truth be told I don’t use the Shakespeare striper rods, the tip is too soft for larger artificials. I use more stiffer rods and the tiger lite casting is great for both.
