It's not great, but you guys will probably love it.
50¢ and $1 boxes are very few and far between in the comic shops by my area. I find myself having more fun every time I go through them after watching and listening to your guyses videos. The other day I found a half a dozen issues of Mike Allred’s Atomics, Kirby’s Satan Six, some from old Carl Banks Scrooge McDuck stuff, some Batman: Shamans and a Rick Veitch Swamp Thing #69 for 50¢ each, just to name a few.
If you guys are interested....Whisper artist Vince Giaranno left comics soon after these issues. He is currently making a living as a photo realist painter showing at galleries in NYC.
Loved Whisper! I started buying the book When Giarrano was doing the art. Quickly became a fan of his art and the book. Hunted down issues after that. I think Giarrano went on to draw books at the big two before he embarked on a career as a painter. I met him last year at his gallery show here in NYC. He's doing large oil paintings these days.

that Promethea by Moore is I feel one of his best titles. I hope that it interests you after reading number one - I think there are 5 volumes in TPB's of it and the whole series is amazing art and writing.

Kia Asimaya drew a run of Uncanny X-Men in the 410s that were written by Chuck Austen. I knew him before that from CPM Manga's Dark Angel.
Saw David Finch eyeing the original cover art for Pummeler #1 at NYCC last year. Albert Moy is selling it.

Strangehaven is brilliant. Self published and still being produced in the UK in Meanwhile magazine. It gets better as it progresses.
