    Thanks for creating this video. I really like it!
    It's thorough, it covers some of the lures I use myself, and there's no bias. The pace of the video is perfect. Good job☺️👍🇩🇰

    The Toby is a great lure for a variety of fish, I have some original Abu lures, made in Sweden, and the action is better than the Garcia ones in my opinion.

    Copper Toby for me! But blue and silver for Sea trout.

    Hi, thanks for this video - very helpful.
    I’ve found that sea trout tend to spit the hooks fairly regularly when I use Toby lures.
    Would you suggest using the 2 split rings method on the 20g versions?
    Also, I’m going to try using the hooks you suggested. I see you’ve posted a link below, but what size of hook are you using?
    Many thanks,
    Willie 🙂

      Ok, I’m thinking 1/0, just based on how big the 2/0 ones I bought are. Hope this helps the other commenters on this video!

    Great vlog, try the salmo minnow in a 7cm trout pattern , cast better than a rapala and have loads more vibration! , I fish nearly all the same as you , so I know you won’t b disappointed in the salmo , but find 7cm or bigger best 👍👍

      Thanks Chris, really appreciate it. I had a look at the Salmo and they look great, love the trout pattern! Definitely going to pick a few up and give them a go. Looking forward to trying them out, always good to try something new. Thanks for the tip 👍🏻

      Salmos don't fish well in moving water

    Hi. I like your video very much. I have moved on to the oneten lures with great success. What are your thoughts on this lure.

      Hello, thank you 👍🏻 I haven’t used them as much as I’d like to but really enjoyed them when I have used them. Great action and colours. I’ve had a few eBay replica style ones and they’re good too.

    Have you ever tried the Savage Gear Zerling or seekers for sea trout?

    Hi there, what size single hooks are you using on the toby

    • @livingtheskyelife
      @livingtheskyelife 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, I asked the same question, but I don’t think the poster of the video is seeing the video comments for some reason. I think the hook size is 1/0.

      Thank you for the tip, I’ll give them a go! Liking the sound of the blue Rapala. Will get on that! Thanks again!

    Hi, great video. What sizes of rapala do you use?

    • @lburton8369
      @lburton8369  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey, thank you! I use a range of raps depending on the water conditions. Usually 7-11cm but mostly 7’s & 9’s. If it’s high I’ll maybe go a bit bigger but take a set of trebles off it’s one with 3 sets on it. Hope that helps 👍🏻

      @@whitetroutchannelhopefully they bring them back at some point if they are discontinued. I’d be gutted as well, the Toby is always my first out of the box and was one of the first lures I caught a fish on.

      @@lburton8369 have to agree mate, i would never have got the amount of sea-trout ive caught if it wasnt for the toby, i hope they dont end up like the Abu krills and end up costing near a score 2nd hand on ebay !!

      @@whitetroutchannel definitely mate, it’s saved me blanking so many times and just so easy to use. Would be gutted if they end up that way on eBay 2nd hand 💸
