    Ohio, so many great bands. Shok Paris, Breaker, Chemikill, Medalyon, Real Steel, Black Death, Torment, Hatrix, Purgatory, Mystik, RU Deadly, H.A.T.E., Soulless. Loved seeing these bands live!

    Shok Paris is one of the very best metal bands of all-time in my book. Honestly, they are one of the few bands I enjoy on the same level I enjoy Dio and Iron Maiden. They just really...Go for the Throat. Tokyo Rose, man, that song woke me up in the middle of a midnight shift at work where I was dead tired. One of my all-time favorite songs. Love the main rift for that one.

      Yes, SHOK PARIS is amazing and i agree with TOKYO ROSE, super song, with increible guitar riffs. Amazing.

    had BREAKER on in car today, I actually owned all the original Lps too, and all those Snakepit zines are the best but the print is so small w/ the background artwork making it rough on the eyes...great stuff you got there

    • @holspa
      @holspa  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Cool. BREAKER is suck an underrated band, they should have be able to make more albums. I just see that SHOK PARIS made a new album just now, that was a surprise. Yes, the print is small and thats make it harder to read but still ultra cool, so much info about each band. Thanksss for your message Michael.

      Cool you are from Cleveland and to hear that you still have a lot of metal around. DESTRUCTOR are back already a long time ago, i saw them in Europe, back in 2003. Cool. Very good, thanks a lot for watching.

    Guess it's a given, only somewhere in Europe was True Metal appreciated by people who actually contributed to the genre with Time and cash. Glad to see someone finally acknowledges the NWOOHM scene as something worthy. An often overlooked genuine music scene. Just as vital as the NWOBHM, NWONYDM , NWOFDM , NWOSDM , NWONBM, NWOGMDM, NWOGTM, NWOJHM, and the NWOBATM were. Of course a lot of people also know this music scene as NWOCHM

    Great video. I love the Shok Paris and Breaker debuts. I've never seen that Jag Panzer. Would love to find a copy. The Snake Pit zine great. I grabbed every copy I saw back in the 90s.

    • @holspa
      @holspa  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hail Steve, yesss, great bands, those debuts are pure gold. The SNAKEPITS are really great, was a important magazine back then for people like you and me that kept loving traditional metal. So much info about all those glory 80s bands and some of the newer bands from the 90s like SKULLVIEW, TWISTED TOWER DIRE, OCTOBER 31, PARAGON...that kept the 80s flame burning. Hail to you forever Steve and take care you and your family.

    Great vid Rene. I used to listen to Destructor maximum destruction album. I recorded it from an older friend. The song of the title is a masterpiece. By the way, very difficult to get on vinyl. Stay healthy \m/

    • @holspa
      @holspa  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanksss, yes, the MAXIMUM DESTRUCTION is a killer album, love it. Never had the change to buy it on vinyl during the 90s but when it was released back in 97 or so, i bought it. It has some cool unreleased stuff on it. Saw them live in 2003 in Germany, that was super. Take careeee and stay healthy too.

    Finally did find a real metal guy video on youtube and not some hipster bullshit (everyone wants to be metal head because they bought kill em all re-issue lp from supermarket blah blah it is sickening). Great! All those mentioned bands are good. Too bad albums by Breaker(and Auburn records in general) etc are very hard to get, on every format.
