In this StartUp Health Studio interview, held at HTLH and hosted by Logan Plaster, she also explains that's it's about more than technology - people also need access to affordable insulin, something we can accomplish today without any technological breakthroughs.
Rice explains how, like many autoimmune diseases, Type 1 diabetes is growing as a global health problem. The time is now, she says, for a concerted, collaborative approach to the problem.
