I have the same Govee set (H7090) and I have mine also hardwired in back of the power adapter behind the dash. The best Footwell Lights on the market. Also if you get the Govee Underglow (H6184) you can control both sets of lights together. 👊 #iluvgovee
Thanks for the video! We have 2015 and 2019 Fusions. Am I understanding that the benefit of hardwiring these in is that they automatically come on or off when the car turns on and off? So the alternative is plugging it into the cigarette lighter and manually turning it on and off every time? Thanks!!
@jake.klusewitz That and you don't have the bulky plug and wire sticking out of your 12v cigarette lighter all the time. It just looks cleaner, and you still have access to use the lighter pug in. Amazon sells 12 wire T-type connectors that keep you from having to strip insulation off of your factory wiring. They are like 6 to 10 bucks for 50 of them. One end crimps to the wire on the lights, the other end you squeeze closed over the factory wire and a metal pin penetrates into the wiring to share signal. It has a female plug on it and you simply plug the wire from the lights in. No special tools are needed in case they offer something other than a cheap crimp/cutter/stripper tool $6-$12 that you see everyone using and most people have.
Hey Dito, got a question, what do you have the brightness set to inside your car for the light strips? I am going to be buying some of these and wanna set a good brightness for the inside of my Fusion. Like 0% - 100%
I have ambient light but not original, I bought rgb ambient light, and I want to connect it and make it like yours, it is controlled by a separate module, that is, I need +12 v and GRN - find it? I ask you how to find +\- in the door map?
I prefer the hardwire route specifically because it’s more of a consistent and mindless setup. Just having the vehicle turn on with them without having to adjust anything is what I was going for but I’d rather have them on all the time anyway

I have a 2017 fusion. It’s pretty much just carpet under the seats , where should the lights go in the back

I think I set it to around 70%, they're pretty bright nonetheless, but my tint's pretty dark so it doesn't have to be too bright in there

Yes titaniums do have some footwell lights stock! But a set like these are in case you want more functions and control over your lights 👍🏼
sadly the ones on the titanium are pretty weak. i might end up buying this kit.
