why instead did the truck not follow the markings on the road and the purpose of a ROUND about, they should have turned right to safely make it, they did not have right of way or clear view to change lanes in such a unsafe manner.
@@miche6563because if the truck did that, he would have destroyed the roundabout and gotten stuck or even worse, the load could have fallen onto the other cars. This is why you do not overtake a longer vehicle because their turning circle is completely different to a regular sized car.
@@miche6563 because of the little sign on the back of the truck "give way to turning vehicle". The truck needed to turn left there, he put the indicator on before the turn and before car that was hit came along, and he couldn't turn a truck like that from the left lane without possibly mounting the curb or hitting overhanging trees on the slow lane. The reason for the "give way" sign on the back of trucks is exactly for this, to allow the trucks to turn from not necessary the correct marked lane. Afterwards, the back dashcam shows the van indicating right, so the van still goes the wrong way at the left only. xD
At 8:02 is that a merging lane because if so then the person taking the video is kinda in the wrong?
That is a 2 into one merge meaning the car have positional right of way. The person with the cam fucked up.
20:48 "I REALLY wanted that spot because none of the others that I could drive straight into was good enough for me".
07:18 KARMA OF THE YEAR! 10/10🎉🎉 ❤
@22:05. Amazing the entertainment we get for free. and the least you could have done is get out of your car and give the driver a Round of Applause and demand an encore.
Best blow up award to 19.09 minutes that was fkn funny
Just got a Go Pro for my motorcycle. I’ll be submitting plenty of clips from Sydney!
I see that in Australia that stopping at red lights and stop sign is optional as well there too.
OK. I will bite. " but why??" , but why what?@antoninoparisi9312
The licensing authorities in each state/territory need to see these videos so that they can see how many idiots there are on the roads. They might take the learning and licensing process more seriously if they saw them. Needs to be harder to get a license and easier to lose it.
I said the same to our dept of transport last time I was in there, that they should do checks at least every ten years on open licences as there are so many idiots on the road now. She commented that she wouldn’t pass 😅
I took my driving test twice. The computer test is easy but the physical test is really hard and daunting that I don't want to do it again.
@@footyfan101ful Just go get you licence but dont drive like these morons. You'll be fine
@@waynepantry7023never said it was the learners. All I said was the licensing authorities need to see these videos so that they can see how bad the driving is on our roads. Then they can change the learning/licensing process to make it harder to get a license. If they teach them properly and make it harder to obtain a license and easier to lose it, then we might see the driving standard improve.
I think some of these drivers , especially the ones on the wrong side of the road are foreign drivers.
If this is only what is captured in Australia can you imagine driving for a living? It must be hell...
Considering there isn't a lot of people with a dash cam in Australia its also just a really small portion. I think driving for a living is pretty tough, but the toughest, craziest of them all would have to be the scooter courier dudes- they're practically destined to be organ donors
Speaking as one of those people that drives for a living, it isn't really hell. It is however always very educational realizing that there are so many different versions and interpretations of basic traffic laws and etiquette. To say nothing of common sense and situational awareness. It keeps me amused. As I also ride a motorbike, I'm occasionally very worried. As for the scooter couriers, they are a special kind of desperate.
I dunno, truck drivers are the worst for it.
@@swampmarshy Located in Algarve, Portugal, Europe the traffic gets heavy in the Summer with tourism. There are a lot of elderly drivers here who seem to be medicated off their heads and drive really slow without proper care & attention to others. The lorry drivers 'bully' there way out of junctions a lot but I understand that or they would sit there all day waiting for a space.
That blue subaru sti submits both the most frustrating & satisfying videos 😂
8:52 That was impossible to predict. I'm a strong proponent of defensive driving, but there's not much that can be done when the other vehicle displays zero sign it's going to move. Also, the Patrol driver didn't see the cammer? How?
I always say turn your lights on or keep your foot on the brake when you sit in you car so that you car is illuminated in some way. It tells the competent drivers out there that there is human presence in this vehicle.
@@davvvvooooo Yeah, absolutely. I'm a fan of using parking lights as they were intended to be used too.
Yeah, no headlights, no indicators to signal intention to leave, and as was said, not even brake lights lighting up the wall to give a hint to the dc driver that the car might be occupied and about to pull out of the parking spot!
As if there aren't enough hazards on Ausie roads now there seems to be a new one - You can't be sure going through a green light that someone will not come through the red.
10:44 boot spoiler was not producing enough aerodynamic downforce....hence the fridge....
Appreciate all the metal being played 🤘
10:10 love the polish my guy ;)
14:00 How are they so bad at this with such a tiny car?! I've parked things twice that size in similar spots, and I've only parallel parked like five times in my life! It's not hard!
7:36 Bruhhh. I know the guy who’s in the Corolla. That’s rough.
L to the biker. F**ked around and found out.
Let them know about the footage, if they don't already, It might help them out a little.
@@shaneadams3600literally stopped watching the video to let them know. But definitely good advice
8:00 not sure what the cam car thought was gonna happen when they sped up as the second lane ends...? it's technically the other driver's fault but it's no surprise it happened because the cam car sped up for no reason right into their blind spot..
Yep, the DC was a inconsiderate c*ck.
Just a friendly reminder: We drive on the left side of the road here in Australia.
@@johnnichol9412 Though I've noticed many US drivers love to hog the left-lane on their highways!
Been binging these videos and I'm very worried about just how many of these accidents are happening on roads I recognise. This is gonna make me drive so much more carefully that's for sure!
11:55 Steven He’s aussie female cousin 🤣
“What da hail” 🤣
This episode was my all time favourite of the year!
At 13:37 that blue car is small enough to park anywhere
She isn't doing the maneouvre correctly?
Ya think....
@14:39 It's common to have idiots not merge there & keep driving down the shoulder. Possible reasons are they either want to exit at the bridge (left lane) or want to be those couple of cars in front further down. It's also common at non-peak times for people to try and merge into 100km/h traffic doing 60/70km/h there! Plenty of truck & car horns are being used to try and alert stupid people
@16:40. Does your car use a single candle for headlights?
More than likely it's just a cheap dash cam, most of which are absolutely useless at capturing anything at night.
14:19 Hey my hometown! To be honest, I'm surprised this is the first time I've seen a video of it here!
19:17. hilarious clip. Totally on point.
Hypocrisy definition: @ 18:14 the posted speed limit is 60 kph then look at bottom right of screen 69 and 70 kph+, what is this contributor trying to hi-light, bad driving? This also applies to at least two others contributors who have music playing so loud I can't believe they would hear the siren of and emergency vehicle in their presence.
5:00 kudos to the ute for owning his screw up straight away and getting out of the way as quickly as possible rather than just sitting there wondering what went wrong.
....and then proceeds to immediately and intentionally drive down the wrong side of the other road... yer no kudos from me
7:33. You cannot blame the driver. She could not see the behind the truck. Don't argue, the motor-cyclist, although not speeding (>50), but was riding too fast for the environment/situation.
Ah okay, in Australia you flip the bird if you know you're a jerk yourself, get it 😄👍🏼
Nah it's more about saving face even though you know you stuffed up.
I almost caused an accident this week, so my moral high ground isn't much elevated atm. That said...
0:00 All that money to buy a Tesla, and no brains.
1:09 The witness marks on the road tell you what you need to know.
2:17 I'm starting to think that every scooter and moped rider has a death wish.
2:40 Carnival of idiocy.
3:31 and 10:37 When you really don't want to pay for delivery.
19:52 I mean it's a roundabout. Could have just gone right and done a full loop.
As someone who has ridden a motorcycle for 12 years on Sydney streets, all I can say is the idiot at 7:17 got what he deserved, he was stupid to pass the car within the same lane like he did and karma did its job, lets just hope he learned something from the experience
Didnt learn a thing.
Had a bike sit in the blind spot behind my c pillar. Then on my bumper, then passed on the left on a single lane 80kmh.
Qld reg lams bike.
20:17 "Thank you, Thing."
19:50 Remember increased widths for trucks have been approved.
20:30 I wish I was able to impress a woman this much!
Her reaction was gorgeous 😮😅
Expensive way to do it.
@12:15 the legend playing Polaris - the slow decay 🎶 RIP Ryan 😢
8:15 Like a glove. Waiting for a mate. 😂
Jesus looks down and smiles everytime an SUV takes out another SUV
04:55 Truck was probably too close to the car in front to stop without rear ending them
Idiot truckie didn't even try to stop. 4 seconds before he changed lanes.
19:10 "fuck stain". I love that I'm gonna steal that one
Props to the Polaris at 12:14 🤘
Awesome Aussie metal
20:42 Learner driver: "You f*cken idiot!"
Instructor: "Well done son"
🤣
I think we need arrows painted on the road every five metres, it's just too confusing to know what side to be on, automatic bollards at lights so no one goes on a red light by mistake , and heavier mattresses.
At pretty much all of these wrong way clips there was a Keep Left sign. People just aren't paying attention.
@@unsafevelocities5687 Most just like to be smart-arses, while the rest usually have old-timers' disease (dementia)!
20:30 your so lucky they didn't hit you little black car , the tray of that ute would been in your front windscreen, go buy a tatts ticket after that luck 🤦♂
@14:45 "HANDS UP", finger up.
I think the cam car needed some "Personal learning and reflections"
4:19 yeah that particular turn in Nambour is rough.
First clip reinforces the theory that Tesla drivers are just Camry drivers in an EV.
19:57 That truck is lane sharing which is legal. Car needs to be aware of the size ......... indicated correctly
Did anyone say "yeah" like me when 7:35?🤣
Hopefully the car driver has the DC's vid to take to Court if she is charged with "failing to give way to approaching motor vehicle" or somesuch...
when the motorcyclist's speed and manner of driving contributed greatly to the inevitable crash?
@@JohnSmith-pl2bk Unfortunately, I believe the motorcyclist over speed driving and the poor lady driver failing to give way cause the accident are different stories.......even she has video record
