Incidents like the one at 9:06 along with any as a result of acute medical incidents are about the only true "accidents" I've ever been called to. A while ago I went through a years worth of job sheets, and of 264, only two were due to a medical issue. None for that period due to environmental issues. Both emergency services and insurance companies define an "accident" as one where no human error was found to be a contributing factor.
If only something was done about it. I'm convinced 10% of people cause 90% of the accidents. You can spot many of them a mile away. You know instinctively that's not the first time they've swerved across three lanes to an exit, shot though a stop sign without looking, or rounded a corner on the wrong side. There's so much emphasis on collecting revenue for trivial speeding infractions. And almost none on identifying dangerous unskilled drivers who eventually kill people.

7:00 wait a second…what planet was that video recorded on…where a cyclist nearly gets hit by a car and DOESN’T explode with fury at the car driver…but actually accepts the apology…and acknowledged THEIR part in why that mishap nearly happened
That CANT be anywhere on earth can it? Holy crap
Must be Hollywood ... they never get movies actually right.
Looks like he was wearing normal clothes. That’s probably why
But how suicidal do you have to be as a cyclist to not spend $10 on a rechargeable light from Kmart? They are Ten bucks!
Regular cyclist here- honestly I can't pin ANY fault on the motorist when the cyclist has made himself invisible. Driver's apology was an effective de-escalator for their conversation but frankly he did nothing wrong. Hopefully lesson learned for the cyclist and he buys a few lights before he gets himself killed.
That was one of those dream sequences where they wake up and they are actually punching the shit out of each other 😅😅😅.

@@superravmanrampage Bike swerved around car that failed to give way, *or* bike had no headlight?
@@neilgerace355 driver should have given way, bike should have had lights. Both at fault, but I'd mainly blame bike if there was an accident
@@superravmanrampage I reckon it's the bike's fault for having no lights in the first place. The driver could have legitimately not seen him. If the bike had lights though I'd say it's 100% driver's fault

I'm pretty sure that's a Magpie Lark, the most psychotic bid I've ever encountered. They see their reflection in a car mirror or window and will attack it, and because the 'other' bird won't retreat they just get more and more worked up. Little bird syndrome.

0:52 reminded me of an incident way back in the early 90's, i was a delivery driver for a pizza shop on Barkly St StKilda (just around from the end of Ackland St), one Saturday night i did a delivery in the Albert Park area, it was PISSING rain, visibility under a few metre's, i stopped before turning right onto Kerford Road, as i started to drive forward a bicyclist hits my front drivers guard.
she was wearing black, NO LIGHTS, and carrying a OPEN UMBRELLA in one hand, she thought i'd stopped to give way, she was INVISIBLE.
we exchanged numbers and when i called the next day she said she was fine just a few bruises.
When the guy at 9:52 says “that’s fucked!” All I could hear in my head was “in today’s episode of how fucked up is fucked up… that’s fucked up!” 🤣

Pretty tame this month. South West Sydney under lockdown doesn’t help.
You wouldn't think there was even a lockdown going on based on the daily case numbers 🤦♂️
@MrMcGoy And not overloading the ICUs to achieve that. When the case numbers rise to the point where the number of people needing to be in ICU exceeds the number of available places then it will really hit the fan - doctors will have to start making "you get to live and you get to die" decisions.
Can you do a special episode sometime where you compile the clips with the best / most swearing? I'd LOVE to see that!!!!
Depending on how much muted audio there is, the original compilations had HEAPS of swearing, my US mates LOVED them because of it "There's nothing as elegant as a swearing Aussie from Road Rage!"
They do a "Best Reactions" series that might be what you're looking for.

Don't you know vans always have right of way especially if it's a work van.
Some awesome radio interplay in these. Impacts on beat, ads selling cars, epic music for near misses.... love it.
The one at 7.00 with the cyclist. So Aussie. "Sorry bro didnt see you there", "No worries bro", "You might want to get some lights bro", "yeah i need to get some lights bro"...
