The animations effort the teams put in is amazing. It fun but anxiety inducing to see who will win as at one moment you think the character your rooting for is losing but pulls the win.

3:45 I love that when the Death Egg cannon fires, all of Eggman's troops were running away while Bowser's stood In place. I like to imagine that, even on a unconscious level, Bowser's troops didn't flee because they knew their king would try to protect them or die trying.

1. Shadow vs Mewtwo. Perfect matchup, but of the worst reviews, Shadow was nerfed to lose by a nonsense, plus they gave Mewtwo his mega evolution without fulfilling the requirements for mega evolution, not to mention that they hardly used either of the 2's abilities What about Mewtwo's clones? Or Chaos control teleportation? It's the episode that should have a remake. 1/10 2. Knuckles vs Donkey Kong. An unffuny matchup due to the null connections between Knux and DK, they nerfed Knux a lot, they didn't even let him use the chaos emeralds like they do with other characters in the franchise, and made him an idiot, not to mention his pretty stupid death and he repeats 500 times “oh no”.. At least I enjoyed the Donkey Kong Country reference part. 1.5/10 3. Mario vs Sonic 2. The best matchup, and yet they ruined it, they took into account feats of Mario that are either not real, or belong to a game where there is no logic, they lacked more feats by both, the terrain was clearly in favor of Mario, Sonic only got a whisp and the emeralds, and did not even use the Chaos control, not to mention how they nerfed these last ones so that Sonic lost his transformation and died. I appreciate the animation a little bit but the episode is terrible. 2/10 4. Vegeta vs Shadow. I'm a little more generous with this one because it was in the first season so there wasn't much budget, but the analysis is really bad, Vegeta at that time only had the Ssj 2 as a maximum, it was a complete victory for Shadow at that time, and yet, he loses in a stupid way because they took a mechanic as something of the story, plus the time wasted in the transition of the transformations of each one. 2.5/10 5. Metal Sonic vs Zero. A regular matchup, although I liked the animation there are parts that look weird because of the 2D and 3D combination, even the death of Metal Overlord is strange because of how he is simply in the static background while Zero walks, plus Zero was given feats that he never really did. 4/10 6. Xeno Trunks vs Silver. The animation is spectacular and it is a good confrontation, plus they used several skills in an interesting way, but the analysis again is bad, and in this case they overestimated Silver because he really did not do many of the feats that are seen in the episode, in fact Silver does not master the Cronos control, so he could not have beaten Trunks as he did. 5/10 7. Amy vs Ramona Flowers. It's not my favorite confrontation since I don't know much about Ramona, but it's okay, the animation is fluid enough and it has a good set of skills plus the analysis doesn't suck as usual, although Amy's personality did feel too aggressive, it's a decent chapter. 5.5/10 8. Mario vs Sonic (2011). It's ironic that an animation 7 years older has used in a better way the abilities of both characters, especially I like the diversity of Mario's power ups without feeling that the terrain is in his favor all the time, although the analysis again is regular, as Sonic is given Archie feats, but also his inability to swim from Sonic X, even so again I'm not so hard because of the age of the chapter. 6/10. 9. Shadow vs Ryuko. It's not my favorite matchup, I think they should have used Valentine from Final Fantasy for Shadow's third battle, but it's not bad, he's better than Vegeta. The animation is really good, they really use both of their abilities well and unlike with Shadow in the previous 2 battles, there was no absurd or humiliating death, I'm just saying that Shadow didn't really need to transform to win, that's why I preferred another opponent. 7/10 10. Eggman vs Wily. I liked more the analysis that was made to the army of both opponents in this chapter that was made in Bowser vs Eggman, is a good confrontation and I think it uses very well the troops of both, my only problem is how Metal Sonic monopolizes the fight and ends up taking the victory by an inconsistency as was the use of the Roboenza, but otherwise it is really fun 7.5/10 11. Bowser vs Eggman. There is no debate that it is the best animation, this is a Mario vs Sonic fight that is appropriate, unlike others that are far-fetched, I liked that they included both armies, and it gave many epic moments. The problem? Eggman is overshadowed by Metal Sonic, to the point that it seems more like Bowser vs Metal Sonic, and they really had the opportunity to use Eggman, there was no need to include Infinite and they could have used the Death Egg from Sonic Forces so that Eggman could fight more with Bowser, plus it is not fully explained why Super Neo Metal died, and instead of using Fury Bowser since that transformation cannot be controlled, they should have used Dream Stone, thus also giving Eggman the opportunity to use Time Eater. Anyway, great episode, but it could have been more if they had given Eggman a leading role in his own episode. 8/10
While Tails can go super and hyper, I still think that Luigi could win. Super Luigi Galaxy is canon, and in that game he survives a universe-ending black hole without power ups.
You have probably started a war. I’d say Luigi wins imo. I do believe the Sonic verse has much higher and consistent scaling, but sadly tails isn’t around as much as Luigi and has next to none of those scaling options, and no I don’t think tails scales to 06 Sonic, there is nothing to suggest it. Knuckles is strong but Donkey is crazy strong being able to cause earthquakes by just slapping the ground, pulling sunken islands and ships out of water and punching the moon hard enough to send it into the planet. Metal vs bowser was really strange for the sonic side because I don't think metal can't escape the beam in time and the part where he loses the emeralds was uh dumb it really shouldve stayed longer and ik super forms aren't permanent
@ImArTiStIc629 I should've have rephrased that. Super forms can run out if they either lose all rings or if the form is pushed to exhaustion. Eggman trapped Sonic and drained the powers of the chaos emeralds from him in Unleashed. The End still overpowered the form, making it possible to happen.
You know what I just realized about the bowser vs eggman fight? Ink Mario and metal sonic are both fakers of Mario and sonic, who appeared previously in death battle. And ink Mario lost to metal sonic.

I like to imagine that, even on a unconscious level, Bowser's troops didn't flee because they knew their king would try to protect them or die trying.

1. Shadow vs Mewtwo. Perfect matchup, but of the worst reviews, Shadow was nerfed to lose by a nonsense, plus they gave Mewtwo his mega evolution without fulfilling the requirements for mega evolution, not to mention that they hardly used either of the 2's abilities What about Mewtwo's clones? Or Chaos control teleportation? It's the episode that should have a remake. 1/10
2. Knuckles vs Donkey Kong. An unffuny matchup due to the null connections between Knux and DK, they nerfed Knux a lot, they didn't even let him use the chaos emeralds like they do with other characters in the franchise, and made him an idiot, not to mention his pretty stupid death and he repeats 500 times “oh no”.. At least I enjoyed the Donkey Kong Country reference part. 1.5/10
3. Mario vs Sonic 2. The best matchup, and yet they ruined it, they took into account feats of Mario that are either not real, or belong to a game where there is no logic, they lacked more feats by both, the terrain was clearly in favor of Mario, Sonic only got a whisp and the emeralds, and did not even use the Chaos control, not to mention how they nerfed these last ones so that Sonic lost his transformation and died. I appreciate the animation a little bit but the episode is terrible. 2/10
4. Vegeta vs Shadow. I'm a little more generous with this one because it was in the first season so there wasn't much budget, but the analysis is really bad, Vegeta at that time only had the Ssj 2 as a maximum, it was a complete victory for Shadow at that time, and yet, he loses in a stupid way because they took a mechanic as something of the story, plus the time wasted in the transition of the transformations of each one. 2.5/10
5. Metal Sonic vs Zero. A regular matchup, although I liked the animation there are parts that look weird because of the 2D and 3D combination, even the death of Metal Overlord is strange because of how he is simply in the static background while Zero walks, plus Zero was given feats that he never really did. 4/10
6. Xeno Trunks vs Silver. The animation is spectacular and it is a good confrontation, plus they used several skills in an interesting way, but the analysis again is bad, and in this case they overestimated Silver because he really did not do many of the feats that are seen in the episode, in fact Silver does not master the Cronos control, so he could not have beaten Trunks as he did. 5/10
7. Amy vs Ramona Flowers. It's not my favorite confrontation since I don't know much about Ramona, but it's okay, the animation is fluid enough and it has a good set of skills plus the analysis doesn't suck as usual, although Amy's personality did feel too aggressive, it's a decent chapter. 5.5/10
8. Mario vs Sonic (2011). It's ironic that an animation 7 years older has used in a better way the abilities of both characters, especially I like the diversity of Mario's power ups without feeling that the terrain is in his favor all the time, although the analysis again is regular, as Sonic is given Archie feats, but also his inability to swim from Sonic X, even so again I'm not so hard because of the age of the chapter. 6/10.
9. Shadow vs Ryuko. It's not my favorite matchup, I think they should have used Valentine from Final Fantasy for Shadow's third battle, but it's not bad, he's better than Vegeta. The animation is really good, they really use both of their abilities well and unlike with Shadow in the previous 2 battles, there was no absurd or humiliating death, I'm just saying that Shadow didn't really need to transform to win, that's why I preferred another opponent. 7/10
10. Eggman vs Wily. I liked more the analysis that was made to the army of both opponents in this chapter that was made in Bowser vs Eggman, is a good confrontation and I think it uses very well the troops of both, my only problem is how Metal Sonic monopolizes the fight and ends up taking the victory by an inconsistency as was the use of the Roboenza, but otherwise it is really fun 7.5/10
11. Bowser vs Eggman. There is no debate that it is the best animation, this is a Mario vs Sonic fight that is appropriate, unlike others that are far-fetched, I liked that they included both armies, and it gave many epic moments. The problem? Eggman is overshadowed by Metal Sonic, to the point that it seems more like Bowser vs Metal Sonic, and they really had the opportunity to use Eggman, there was no need to include Infinite and they could have used the Death Egg from Sonic Forces so that Eggman could fight more with Bowser, plus it is not fully explained why Super Neo Metal died, and instead of using Fury Bowser since that transformation cannot be controlled, they should have used Dream Stone, thus also giving Eggman the opportunity to use Time Eater. Anyway, great episode, but it could have been more if they had given Eggman a leading role in his own episode. 8/10
So strange that we got a Bowsegg separate fight so early.

Metal vs bowser was really strange for the sonic side because I don't think metal can't escape the beam in time and the part where he loses the emeralds was uh dumb it really shouldve stayed longer and ik super forms aren't permanent
The Chaos Emeralds have a history of being overpowered by opponents, such as in Unleashed and Frontiers

Eggman trapped Sonic and drained the powers of the chaos emeralds from him in Unleashed.
The End still overpowered the form, making it possible to happen.
