PLEASE READ THIS! Hello Friends, I wanted to warn you that there is a scam going on where someone uses my photo and name (Fifty Plus Beauty) to reach out to you in the comments section telling you that that you have won a prize from me and asking you to go to an App called Telegram to "collect" the prize. These are scammers responding to some comments claiming to be me, or saying you have won something. This is a scam and please do not respond. Beth
You go girl. I am also 64 and at 63 I had my face-lift. I went in because of my neck and jowls bothering me and my surgeon suggested doing my eyelids, brow lift and laser around my mouth also. I am over the moon with what he did. He did such a amazing job . The best comment is, you did what? They can't even tell. He got rid of what was bothering me. As far as negative comments (I would never do that) I always say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Things were bothering me and I did it for ME . Thanks for sharing Beth.
I am so glad you had such positive results. It sounds like your doctor did just a gorgeous job! I am so happy for you. I really appreciate you sharing that. I am sure it is giving a lot of women confidence to perhaps go forward with doing something for themself.
So appreciate this kind of chat. Women need to feel like they can celebrate cosmetic procedures and/or in-office treatments they’ve chosen with out fear of getting hassled or shamed. We should feel grateful for the options we have! And also share the risks & the tips we’ve learned from our experiences along the way with others who are considering similar treatments. Thank you for sharing your fat transfer experience & being so honest & open about all of your experiences. I had fully ablative CO2 laser facial resurfacing 3 years ago. The result was amazing, but admittedly there were a few unanticipated side effects along the way. I’ve also had nice results with conservative amounts & strategic placement of filler, and recently fraxel laser to address scaring as well as IPL treatments & fraxel to improve the appearance of my décolleté. I honestly feel like I just look like me, which helps me feel & act my best. I just love your message of women being positive & supportive in our interactions with each other no matter our choices. It’s our time to celebrate🙌. I’m considering a vertical restore in a few years (for my 60th Bday! Thanks for creating a safe place to share 💜
I loved reading your comments. That is so funny that you called it a vertical restore! Somehow I think that would be a great 60th birthday present! Thank you also for sharing the information about the fully ablative laser. I am sorry you had a few struggles with that but generally those things to take care of themselves over time. I know because I have also had a few issues over time too.
@@FiftyPlusBeauty Hi Beth! I would love to get the Vertical Restore too! It's a signature procedure from Dr. Amir Karam. He has his own youtube channel and IT IS AMAZING what he does. Go look at it, Beth, you will be so impressed- the before and after that he can do. In fact, I was in San Diego (that's where he's at) and I looked up his clinic and it's in beautiful La Jolla. :)
@@susanthomas5883 I’m scheduled in with Dr Karam for my 60th! As long as I don’t chicken out. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on his practice. I did a lot of research!
@@beyond50skin oh my gosh, how exciting!!!!!!! Did you see on his website that you can stay in one of his cottages? I’m not sure how much it is but he has all the resources ready for you before & after the surgery. You are going to love it! I love the before/ after pics. 💜
Anyone watching this channel would not say ‘age gracefully and get old’ pah! I am 63. I’ve has a facelift, eyelid surgery and Botox for the last fifteen years. I am having fat transfer filler in my cheeks next month. I take multiple vitamins and supplements, I exercise and watch my weight. I feel great and celebrate looking well. I do not want to look ‘younger’ I want to look well! My top tip for procedures is consult the best person recommended to you and never look for bargains. The top people are often not much more expensive than less qualified people.
Oh my goodness, I love your approach! I am also so happy for you that you were using all available means to look and feel your best. Also, I applaud you on the supplements and exercise and watching your weight. We do have to put in the work in addition to knowing the best person to work with in each area. You were so right at the top people are not that much more expensive if at all. We are so fortunate to have such a good access to reviews as well. I am sure you know this but realself.com is a great place to check out procedures and get reviews on the best doctors. Thank you again for your wonderful comment. You and I are definitely on the same path.
And all power to you too! I turned 61 in September and I am considering getting some consevative filler. I've been getting botox for about 8 years, I only wish I'd started sooner!! I can still lift my eyebrows but the botox I get softens my forehead lines and crows feet. I may have cosmetic surgery one day but I am a bit leery of having general anaesthetics. I agree with you, I don't want to look younger, just my best self at my age.
I applauded you for having things done when needed. You are so beautiful and I know you won’t look like some of the Hollywood actresses who went too far with plastic surgery! I love how honest and open you are with your viewers and you give us the confidence to try some procedures on ourselves! If anyone can afford these procedures and they don’t drastically look recognizable, go for it!
Thank you so much Debbie for your supportive comments. In fact, I just went to get my forehead Botox this afternoon. I was starting to look kind of like the grinch who stole Christmas! It is nice that in this day and age we had some things we can do to help ourselves with regard to softening the effects of aging. They could be startling sometimes! Lol!
You are so refreshingly honest! Beautiful on the inside as well as the outside. You've kept the aging pocess at bay rather than looking alien as many of the younger women are tragically doing to their faces. Love watching your videos! Just delightful!
I think women should do what they feel good about doing and what makes them feel better. For me, it’s been a personal choice to not do anything up until this point. I’m 54. I haven’t even had botox. Regardless of what one chooses to do, it should be embraced and people that have had something done shouldn’t feel the need to lie about it. My own personal view is that the narrative for the aging women needs to change. We have so much pressure to stay young and it can take away our joy. I do hope ageism in this manner changes in time, I can hope... but with all that said we all should be accepted as aging women just the way we are, procedures or not. Much love💜
Much love to you too Holli. You were so right about everything you shared. The narrative on aging really does need to change but it is so prevalent in terms of the marketing we get. I totally understand your perspective and the path you were taking. I think it is just wonderful. I guess it is a personal journey and each of us gets to make her own decision about it. Love you and thanks for sharing.
I was 58 now 67 when I first had Botox.I wish I had had it what time are you done decades ago. Always had this line in between the 11’s since I was a kid!
Hi from down under. I'm 68yo and admire your honesty. In being honest you're helping so many ladies. Thank you. The first thing I noticed was "your cheeks". They're beautiful. I also love your hair. I'll be watching all your videos now that I've found you. My annoying feature is my Turkey neck that seems to have just appeared in the last 2 years. I can't afford surgery so will be looking for any advise advise to help. Nothing wrong with wanting to stay fresh. You're gorgeous without looking over done. Thank you! 😊
Hi Maureen. Thank you so much for your very nice compliments. I am so happy you found my channel! I know what you mean about the turkey neck being a problem. I am also having problems with my neck and it is very frustrating. I will be trying some things on my channel over the next six months or so to see if I can improve my neck. By the way, you are just darling!
Beth, thank you so much for being so open and honest! You look incredible! I’m so excited to see how your eye surgery goes because that is what I have been considering. Best of luck and hope it turns out just the way you want! We’ll be looking forward to your next video. I am purchasing the Nira based on your recommendation so thank you for that!!
You are so welcome about the NIiRA Dawn. It is definitely one of my absolute favorite beauty devices as it really does reduce the wrinkles. I am looking forward to making that video on the eyes. I’m a little bit nervous but it will be nice taking you all along with me. Have a great evening.
I appreciate your honest transparency about the work you get done. I really enjoy watching your videos and learning the different procedures available. I’m 46 and all I have done is Botox, many years ago. I’m starting to feel I need to get more serious about my skin care routine, and I’m glad I have you and others on YT that have let us follow your journeys, to learn what works and maybe what doesn’t work for some. Thank you!
Hi Beth, you are beautiful. My 38 year old daughter refuses to watch youtube videos, so I was telling her about one you posted and I said you are 64, but look 40. You are an inspiration!😊
I appreciate the honesty with which you share about procedures you have had done. While, this is not a path I have chosen I think your experience, and the research you have done will be a valuable resource for those who do choose to have procedures done. Once again, thank you for sharing.
Thank you Beth. You are so brave to put it all out there like you do and your lucky viewers get to reap the benefits of your experiences. You are so pretty! I feel like you’re my big sister giving me advice. 😁 Please keep making videos. We love them. ❤️
Beth you are stunning and I think maintaining oneself is totally your own perogative. Personally at 58, I am in favour of looking after myself and shall be starting botox and anything that makes me the best version of myself. You are an inspiration and very authentic and beautiful ...thank you for sharing your journey. Love from Deborah in UK 🇬🇧 ❤️
Thank you so much Deborah for your very nice comments. I am so with you on the Botox! One problem with it though, once you use it you will never go back to not using it! Lol I truly think it is about the only way to get rid of large wrinkles. Blessings to you and have a great time today in the UK
@FiftyPlusBeauty I stopped using it. It can make some people very sick. I had so much brain fog and acquired an autoimmune condition from it. I haven't used it in 8 months and always feel better. I have used it for 3 years consistently. It's a toxin, so I don't think some don't well with it.😢
Beth you look incredible! From head to toe, you really have that Hollywood beauty! Thank you for all of your content and for being brave, wholly putting yourself out there. Stay beautiful inside and out!
I love your channel! Thank you for being so honest. I have Breast Implant Illness as well. Had my implants removed and the surgery went terribly wrong. I was in wound care and almost lost my right breast. As soon as it’s completely healing I will have a fat transfer in that breast. Thank you for sharing your story…. Makes me feel a little more relieved about having that done. And hopefully others might find a connection between BII and their health issues from you just talking about it. 💗
Thank you so much for sharing that and I wish you well in your recovery. Breast implant illness is really very real for some of us. I know some women who have had breast implants for decades without any problems at all. I was definitely not one of them. Good luck in your reconstruction. I am so glad you came through it OK. Love you and thanks for watching.
I’ve been watching you for a long time now and you really do look better than ever! Not that you haven’t always looked great. You are really doing a great job of not overdoing it at all!
Thank you for your honesty and openness! I’m with you in that I do not understand why so many lie about the procedures they’ve had done. I have not had any yet….if one has the ability to, go for it. I do think you are beautiful now! And I look forward to hearing about your experience. Thanks for the video.
You were so welcome Melanie and thank you so much for your very nice compliments. I really appreciate having you here with me and I look forward to sharing my results.
Beth, I can't tell you enough how much I appreciate your honesty about the procedures you have had & the results from those treatments. There are very few procedures I have had that I am completely happy with & I think other women should be realistic about their results. I had an upper facelift & upper eye lift about five years ago from a highly respected surgeon that specializes in faces & I still have numbness & pain on one side of my face as well as getting dry eye. I do believe in looking the best you can afford & love that you watch your diet & exercise as well. I enjoy your channel & wish you the best on your upper eye surgery!
Hi Rena. I’m so sorry to hear you were having some issues from your face lift. I’ve had lots of procedures over the years and one of the things I have learned the most is that about 50% of the time unexpected things tend to happen. Usually though the good thing is that overtime things soften up and get generally better. Bless you and I hope your facial pain and dry resolves in time. Please let me know down the road how you were doing.
Beth, I also had 1 eye more hooded than another. My ophthalmologist referred to me a plastic surgeon because she wanted to make sure one it was done correctly since it was only one eye. I was thrilled to learn that Medicare would cover the expense if it was affecting vision. Which thankfully it was and I love the results. I had a lot of bruising & thankfully was under anesthesia. I can’t image being awake for that. Good luck, I love your analogy of an old car. If I had the funds I would do more to restore this old car! Lol
No! Don’t be dissatisfied with your pretty cheeks. I love your cheeks! This is the best video I’ve seen for procedures. I had eyelid surgery and because it interfered with my vision so Medicare paid for it! Win Win!! My neck is awful! Is a neck lift the best way to fix it? I’m 73 and people tell me I look much younger. You’re so encouraging and inspiring! Love you!
Beth, you look beautiful! Continue doing you and what makes you feel good! I’m turning 60 years old this month and see a blepharoplasty in my future. I’m a mother of a 12 year old boy and feel sensitive about looking like his grandmother instead of his mother 😉 I’ve decided to embrace what I can do to continue looking healthy, vivacious and attractive to those that I love. I’m grateful and feel blessed that we live in a time where there are a variety of amazing options. Love hearing and learning what others are vulnerable and truthful enough to share. Thank you for taking us along on your beauty journeys. 💖💓💗
You are so welcome Lisa and I say go for it in terms of anti-aging procedures. We have never lived in a better time for things like that. I believe that if it helps you feel better and feel more confident and you are good at choosing an excellent provider, it’s just great to improve things a bit. I like what you said about continuing to look healthy vivacious an attractive to those you love. That is a great go for sure. I totally agree with you.
Thank you for this very informative video! At 66, I’m just beginning my cosmetic procedure journey, and I appreciate your honesty and all the information you are sharing. I’m all for anyone doing whatever they feel they want/need to do! BTW, I think your cheeks look great, at this point, as well as everything else you’ve had done!
You’re beautiful, genuine and clearly intelligent- I’ve always been transparent with my procedures and I’ve also done my research but so many women want us to think they just wake up that way - I hate that - anything I’ve done to make myself look younger or better was never meant to make someone else feel worse - Beauty is beauty - but kindness and support of others is far more important- Thank you for your candor - kindness and support - you rock ❤️
Thank you so much for your beautiful comments. I am with you that it is frustrating to see these movie stores who are our age are older who imply they just roll out of bed looking that way. They don’t. I think it would help all of us if they would be more transparent about it. Not everyone chooses to get these types of procedures but I think it is helpful for us to know that they look that kind a perfect way for a reason. They are not just angels were we are in perfect models if you know what I mean. Thanks again for your wonderful comment. Very wise!
Thank you so much for your very kind words of support Julia. Sometimes I feel I am out here alone in my honesty about what I do. I really appreciate your very nice comment. I hope you and your family have a lovely holiday season.
@@FiftyPlusBeauty I think you have a bigger audience than you think, you can really see the passion and acknowledge you bring to the table about helping women ageing the best they can. Have an amazing holiday season as well and a happy New Year coming up. The Best Is Yet to come stay positive, never give up. Your audience is growing day by day. 💛💛💛🙏🙏
You look fantastic Beth! I think we all want to look our best, no shame in that. Celebrities never share the procedures they’ve had. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Beth. I have watched many of your videos. Sometimes we can be our own worst critics because we see ourselves all the time. When you started to mention you were going to have a procedure done this month, I would have never guessed it to be your eyes. I personally don't see hooding at all. I see where you have a good amount of eyelid, which I have always found to be a nice feature on a woman. I inherited the lids from my mother. Another female family member had to have the blepharoplasty done because she got to the place where the hooding was affecting her vision. Insurance paid for it, for that reason. I think you have beautiful eyes, but when it is all said and done we have to do what makes us feel better about ourselves. Best of luck and I will be watching for your results.❤
Thank you so much Kathy for your nice comments. I have to admit that I rewatch that video and I kind of thought I should be getting a facelift because my neck is really what is bothering me right now. It’s funny how what we want to do changes. I will definitely get a facelift down the road and I will let you see how that works. Blessings to you and thank you again for your kindness.
You go girl! I’m with you, I will not grow old gracefully!!! It’s okay for those who choose not to have anything done. That why we are all different! I had both my upper and lower jaws cut away and put back with screws because my bite was horrible. Pulling my top jaw forward caused me to have no cheeks which lead to cheek implants. Talk about looking like a chipmunk, lol it took about a year to look normal but I would do it again! I hope to have my lips done soon too. You look fabulous, keep it up and keep sharing, Thanks
Hi Susan. Oh my goodness it sounds like he went through a lot! I am so glad it worked out so beautifully though. I know what you mean about the fact that it was difficult that you would do it again because the final outcome was so good. I totally get that. My husband also had a pretty major jaw surgery too. His went well too.
I don’t get that aging gracefully means no plastic surgery and fillers. I do all,and this is aging gracefully for me. I am graceful to myself by aging happily and satisfied with myself. I accept aging ,just on my terms
You are incredible and look beautiful. Thank you for your honesty. I’m 64 and haven’t done anything yet. Im thinking about doing something about my upper lip lines. They really bother me. Not sure what I want to do yet. Thank you for your video it was very helpful.
Hi Beth. I had an upper/lower blepharoplasty years and years ago. I wish I hadn't done the lowers, but my uppers were so hooded that I couldn't even see without raising my eyebrows, which caused forehead wrinkling, and it got worse and worse, so I did it and it was one of the smartest things I ever did. Healing time was pretty fast, and the scars are invisible now. I get a lot of compliments on my eyes that I would not be getting if I had left them alone. Now I don't have to raise my eyebrows to see any more, and I'm so pleased with the result. I'm sure you will be too. Good for you for finding a good surgeon. Plus, it's nice to have both eyelids the same. I'm happy for you.
Hi Cynthia. Thank you so much for sharing your great results with the upper eyelids. My sister actually had hers done a couple of years ago with the same doctor and she looks great. I actually had forgotten about the marked difference in the size of my eyes because I started to worry that maybe I shouldn’t get my eyebrows done because in general with makeup it doesn’t look so bad. When I pulled that photo though for the video, I was reminded that one of my eyes is very hooded. I am glad to hear about your great results is that makes me feel confident about it. I really appreciate you sharing so openly with me. I hope you are having a great time lately. It has been kind of a crazy summer for me. Quite a few little trips and things and tomorrow they are starting to remodel my master bath. It’s going to be very interesting next two weeks! I will probably post info about my master bath remodel.
Thank you so much. I just think people should know what other women are doing. Some women don’t admit to anything and I think that’s just not very fair to others. Someone who has done nothing should not compare themselves and favorably to someone who has done some tweaks.
I had a blepharoplasty last month and it turned out great. I'm 65 and one of my eyes looked smaller due to a bigger hood on my right eye and now they are the same size. Before the surgery I had no lid showing at all and you could barely see my lashes. Now I have lids for eyeshadow and lashes for mascara. Because my peripheral vision was impacted on my right side my insurance picked up the tab. I have Medicare and a PPO supplemental. I think you will be very happy with the results. I am!
Hi Julie. Thank you so much for sharing your great results! I’m especially excited that you also had one I smaller than the other and now they’re the same size. I sure hope I have the same great results you did. Thanks for sharing that. I hope you have a great evening.
So helpful, thanks so much for making this! The hand procedure is so intriguing as a redhead with pale skin from a very veiny family that gives me hope. And I think that your lips are really perfect, shape/size. If I look like you at 64 I will be over the moon.
Thank you so much Andrea! I have to admit that the good lighting here really does help however I did just go to the OB/GYN today and he seemed surprised I was 64. That made me feel pretty good because especially lately I definitely feel every year of my age!
@@FiftyPlusBeauty it can't be just the lighting your consult photo with no makeup was amazing, such lovely skin, you've made great practical and measured choices. And your channel is great, followed it for ages now, thank you for all your hard work making it.
I love that you are proactive in your health and skin care. There is no such thing as ..... growing old gracefully!! Once everyone awakens to how the water, air, earth, food, beverages, pharmaceuticals, vitamins, body care and face care has been poisoned intentionally.... Then they can start doing something about it with the correct info. Even most sun screens have been poisoned to cause cancer. Thank you again Beth! Love your content, channel and you!
Thank you so much for your kind words and also everything you shared about the dangers of some of the things we do. I am not very familiar with that but I will look it up for sure. I appreciate you sharing that.
Beth, in the past month I started experiencing leg heaviness and pain. I went to a doctors for scelotherapy on my varicose veins. My veins were not bad but two treatments have vastly improved the way my legs feel. I walk 8k almost every day. I am thrilled with the results.
Those veins come from eating floury stuff. Removing carbs from the diet helps a great deal. I am 67 and don’t have one vain popping up. My legs is smooth like when i was young. Diet is everything in a way we look later in life.
@@julieturner1541 also lot of good vitamin C from natural source is good to keep our veins flexible and that goes for the once inside our body like brain, heart etc. as we get older they can get like an old tire and pop. Keto is good we also are on a basically Keto diet. I drink my daily glass of one lemon 🍋 juice with mix of Marine Collagen, probiotics, living silica and a spoon of cod oil. All good for hair and skin. I also walk a lot daily. Best exercise for the legs. Got to keep it moving. I sat for decades in an office all day. Don’t even know how i made it and not fell apart lol 😂.
Hi Julie. I am so glad you were so pleased with the outcome of your sclerotherapy on your legs. That is just awesome! It’s also wonderful that you walk so often.
Hi Beth, I’m also 64, fellow April diamond! I just had hip replacement surgery on Monday and went home the same day I’m walking around fine. Off the pain pills! I was glad to hear you discuss your leg height difference, because I have that going on too! You’re beautiful, inside out and I appreciate your channel. I had my surgery at Kansas spine and specialty hospital. My doctor is amazing, his name is Dr. Bhargava with an anterior approach surgery.
Fat transfer last 10yrs and everyone's face is different on both sides. I think you look fantastic and people love making comments they really need to look at themselves projecting feeling really about themselves. I work in the cosmetics industry for years, people fillers please don't get it migrates. I feel what ever makes you happy. Great video. This doctor is right neck lift will end up with a face lift.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hi Pearl. Thank you so much for your nice supportive comments. That’s interesting about the filler! I wasn’t aware that it really moved. It’s so funny that you mention the neck. I was just looking at mine in the sunlight in my rearview mirror today. Ouch! Sometimes what happens during aging is kind of startling.
@@FiftyPlusBeauty We all age naturally but if you feel unhappy go for it. I'm saving monies right now it's time to do some maintenance just like a car. Go for it you only live once. Best of luck in whatever you feel needs to be done. I do believe in plastic surgery to fix what's ever bothering you or anyone else that's contemplating surgery.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
You’re so welcome June. I think it’s important to be honest about things. I have to admit that looking in the mirror lately I would love to have a facelift but I’m a bit scared about that idea.
You can do whatever you want and nobody has the right to tell you otherwise...you look great, you feel great and you are happy..that is what matters...I hope the upper eye surgery goes well... I'm sure it will. I appreciate your honesty, and I just think you look fantastic...I turned 56 in April and I am not a person who enjoys aging at all...so I understand completely....I enjoy your videos !!😁
Hi Kelley. Congratulations on being only 56! My birthday is also in April on April 22. Are you also a Taurus baby? You really are very young at 56. Long ago I would’ve thought that was pretty old but looking back it is still pretty young. Enjoy every day. That’s what both of us need to do for sure
my gosh you look incredible and I think even younger makeup free!!!! I am turning 54 and moved recently, found my new facial PS that performed the best botox I have ever had...saving up my pennies for future procedures - eyelids will be my next and I hope you are healing well!
Thank you so much for your nice comments. I am actually going through the upper left recovery right now. I will share those details with you in about a month when I am more recovered.
Hi Alice. I love hearing from my 74-year-old older sister! We are 10 years apart but I can tell by your picture you were very lovely. You give me great hope for the future for sure.
You look amazing! I’m a firm believer in that you do what (cosmetically)you want to feel better about yourself. I’m trying to age gracefully, but I’m not good at it. I’m typically kicking and screaming about aging; it’s a fight!
First, thank you for your honesty and unapologetic transparency! It’s so refreshing and empowering! Second, I’m 53. After a CTA peel in my tear trough area my under eyes were ravaged and destroyed. Crepe, terribly thin skin so much worse than before. An AMAZING very gifted nurse injector at my Medispa recommended PRP injections with smooth threads. Both to induce collagen and elastin. I can’t even begin to express the miracle of this regimen. I’ve had 3 sessions and my under eyes are INCREDIBLE. I am shocked at the smoothness and thickness of tissue that has been restored. Simply no words for my thankfulness to the beautiful woman who cared and asked me to trust her when she recommended this treatment to me. I want to tell every woman with the same issue I had with thin skin crepe under eyes…. Go get PRP with smooth threads. (NOT the barbed ones!!!…SMOOTH ones).
Hi Heather. First, I am so sorry to hear of your terrible response after that peel. That is a good thing for all of us to remember, and that is that even with the best of intentions, things can go very wrong sometimes and we need to respect that. That being said, I am so glad to hear of your great response with PRP injections and smooth threads! That is amazing to hear and absolutely wonderful! I am so glad you came upon that wonderful nurse injector! Congratulations to you. I am so happy for you.
Hi Tina. Thank you so much for your nice compliments about my cheeks. Although it was kind of a difficult situation at first I am pretty much used to them now which is great. Thanks for watching. I really appreciate having you here with me.
Hope all is wonderful Beth. I’m 49, came across your channel and I’m now subscribed. Love your videos, your honesty and I believe you are absolutely beautiful!!
Thank you so much Lisa. I am so happy you found my channel! Congratulations on being so young and already thinking about anti-aging. I was 58 when I started on the path. Bless you.
You are an attractive & down to earth woman ,the breast implant story is important for people to realize. I had a girlfriend the same thing happened to. she had pain all over her body and people thought she was crazy and she did end up having a nervous break down until the implants came out. We go through so much to live up to these expectations of the culture. None of us want to look old and feel forgotten. It’s very sad because it also takes a lot of money to take good care of yourself not even including procedures.
Hi Katie. Thank you so much for sharing what happened with your friend. I am so sorry she had a nervous breakdown but I am glad she finally got those implants removed. Fortunately, not everyone has problems with them but there’s a certain subset of us who really just can’t have them without getting major health problems. You were so right about the expense of anti-aging skin care and procedures. It is expensive to do these things. You can do a lot with sunblock in certain reasonably priced products but at a certain point some of us need a little more help. Thank you for watching my video and for your very nice comments. I appreciate it.
I was doing some wishful surfing. I if I can save enough. Their is a Dr. Out in California who does what they call a vertical restore face lift. It makes perfect sense. Rather than the over pulled regular face lifts. I will try to go back and get his name. He has a lot of great reviews from patients. 💖💗💓
I just love watching your videos and I think you are absolutely beautiful! I always look forward to your next post. Thank you so much for helping me keep my skin looking as young as possible for as long as possible. You are my number 1 go-to advice giver. Keep up the good work : )
It does not matter about your cheek fillers, you're still the most beautiful 64 year old that I know of!!! 😍😍😍 Forget about the other negative comments.
I really enjoy watching you Beth, I'm 63 and pretty much do what I can to look good as my finances allow, its great to find someone like you to follow as it gives me a lot more confidence and much needed guidance. I recently got the derma roller and look forward to using it by following your step by step tutorial.
Thank you so much for all your kind words. I am glad that you also do what you can to look your best, even if that involves the occasional procedure. I really do appreciate hearing that. It’s great to know I’m not alone in that and I have a friend there. I hope you have a lovely day today. It’s almost Friday! Yay
Thank you Teresa for your nice complement. I have to admit though that the excellent lighting here really does help. I wish I could carry it around with me!
Can’t wait to follow along your journey. I’m 52 years old and I love to hear and See your channel. Thank you for all the information and the transparency your share with us.
A small percentage of people become 'immune' to Botox, meaning it no longer works for us. That's why I'm interested in all the devices out there, like microcurrent, red light, radio frequency, etc, to improve the quality of my skin.
You can afford all of those procedures - most woman cannot and become resentful, especially those who REALLY look good for their age naturally. Moreover, men have no idea how to sort it out and the standard is ridiculous and sad. I see VERY few women in the public who celebrate their age except when they can show-off their artificial bodies.
Yes, men or sometimes clueless about all this for sure. In fact, I had to explain to my husband that Beyoncé’s hair it looks so wonderful it’s actually not all her own! Lol!
Beth, you are absolutely beautiful and do not look anywhere close to 64 years old. It takes a lot of courage to create this channel and show everyone what you are doing to combat the aging process. Everyone should be encouraging you and applauding you and never criticizing. At the end of the day it only matters that you feel beautiful so please don't let anyone make you feel otherwise. Best of luck with your upcoming procedure.
Thank you so much Sheila for your very kind compliments. I can tell that you are a very big hearted person and I really do appreciate that. I actually already had the upper bleph procedure. It went very well. I am glad to say. Take care and have a lovely day.
Hi Beth, I think you look amazing. I think that if it makes you feel good you should do whatever makes you happy as long as you don’t change the features God gave you, you should be fine. If other women don’t agree with any improvements, then, instead of being rude, they should just keep it to themselves and not have anything done. I think it’s important that we respect everyone’s opinions and decisions. I love how you take care of yourself and just because you’re aging doesn’t mean you have to let yourself go. You’re an inspiration to me seeing your videos how you get up early to exercise, how you eat healthy, how you take time to care for your skin, that takes time, dedication and discipline. Much love to you, God bless you!🙏❤️
God bless you too! Thanks so much for all of your very nice comments. I think we each have our own path and we need to respect other women's rights to do what they feel is right for themselves. Love you and thanks for watching. Beth
Thank you Beth for being so vulnerable and transparent with us. I think you are stunningly beautiful and appreciate all the things I've learned from you. Blessings to you.
Blessings to you too Cynthia ! In looking at your photo, I feel like we would be good friends if we lived in the same town. Thank you for your kind comments. I really appreciate it.
Thank you so much. I have to admit that I’m getting a bit nervous about having it done in the next few weeks. For some reason my eyes don’t look as bad now as they did maybe a month ago when I scheduled the procedure. I asked my husband about it, if I should go ahead with it and he said yes there were definitely times when I could tell that when I was markedly more hooded than the other. My husband is always pretty much totally positive about how I look so when he mentioned that I realized it really was not my imagination. Thanks for the good wishes and fingers crossed it goes very well.
I love the fact that you are so honest and transparent on what you have had done, I have had some fillers and microneedling, I watch my weight and do yoga and exercise and I do use good products on my skin, I do all this to please myself first and foremost, because if I'm happy all those around me are happy too:))
Thank you so much for your comment and that is a very excellent point. You made. We do these things because it helps us feel good about ourselves. When we do that, we can be of maximum service to everyone around us. God bless you and thank you for sharing. I really appreciate what you said.
You are beautiful. Very natural looking. I like your dewy skin. I would not known that you had anything done. Your grandmother was right about the sun. My mom died at 91, stayed out of the sun and her skin was flawless. Thank you for being brave and sharing all this information. Sincerely, Heather
You are so welcome Heather. I am so glad your grandmother stayed out of the sun. And also your mother. That is just wonderful and thank you for letting us know that. Take care and have a great evening.
Great video from a great lady .. thank you for sharing , I totally agree with you on how you view medical procedures ... Best regards from Athens Greece !
Thank you for your comment and that’s awesome that you are from Athens! My husband and I are traveling there on a cruise in early 2023. I see the gorgeous photos of Greece and of course know about all the wonderful history there and I can’t wait. You truly live in a paradise. It seems quite removed from Kansas I have to admit! We are pretty much a farm type community here.
Greetings from East Texas! Beth first off I wish to thank you for your candor and honesty regarding Graceful Aging. And yes…everyone has their own definition. I just want to say that I think you look absolutely stunning. I have very hooded lids. I can barely see yours. I think your eyes are beautiful. But YOU have to be happy with you. Again I think you are stunning for 64. If I had the means, I would get the blepharoplasty. I have a Dermatology appointment next month to have some dark patches on my face and chest evaluated. Former Surfer 😝. Looking forward to sharing your journey with you
Hi Rabecca. Thank you so much for your kind words of support. Yes, everyone has a different path with regard to graceful aging. It was a lovely way you phrased that by the way. Good luck with your upcoming procedure. I bet it will go just beautifully. Thanks for sharing. I really appreciate that.
Beth
I won't. Thank you Beth. God bless you 🙏 ❤️
You go girl.
Good for you! I would too if I could afford it.
Filler?surgeon?noooo...🤣🤣🤣 Magic🤣🤣🧙
You look incredible and your cheeks look great they don’t look overfilled at all. But I know, we’re our own worst critics. You’re great! Xx
Thank you so much Poling! I really appreciate your kind comment.
You really are stunning. Thank you for encouraging and inspiring this "fraidy cat".
The result was amazing, but admittedly there were a few
unanticipated side effects along the way.
@@takecontrolbeauty6402 So glad you agree! 🥰Whoo hoo! To women supporting each other💜
@@susanthomas5883 I’m scheduled in with Dr Karam for my 60th!
Amen Sista....."Do not go gentle into that good night,Old age should burn and rave at close of day;Rage, rage against the dying of the light. "
Fully agree with you. Gracefully ......what does that even mean ..... for me gracefully is looking after myself to the best of my ability
I fully agree
if you don't like it,change it.
@@kimmietwining4474 Yes seems some of us got that.
Beth, you're a beautiful lady and I appreciate your honesty!! God bless!!
Thank you!
You are so welcome, Trisha! Thanks so much for watching my videos. I really appreciate it!
Hi Beth, you are beautiful. My 38 year old daughter refuses to watch youtube videos, so I was telling her about one you posted and I said you are 64, but look 40. You are an inspiration!😊
Thank you so much Carol for your very kind compliment! I really appreciate that.
Hi
I appreciate the honesty with which you share about procedures you have had done. While, this is not a path I have chosen I think your experience, and the research you have done will be a valuable resource for those who do choose to have procedures done. Once again, thank you for sharing.
You do NOT LOOK BAD in any way 😮 Thank you for your honesty 🤩👍🏻
Thank you Beth. You are so brave to put it all out there like you do and your lucky viewers get to reap the benefits of your experiences. You are so pretty! I feel like you’re my big sister giving me advice. 😁
Please keep making videos.
It's a toxin, so I don't think some don't well with it.😢
Love the car analogy! Thank you for being so open and honest about everything!
Thanks Beth for your honesty about your procedures. All the best on your surgery. Take care.
Thank you so much for your nice words of support. I really appreciate that.
@@FiftyPlusBeauty Thank you!

Thank you so much Susan. I really appreciate you dropping by. See you next time!
Hey Beth, did I really win something?
I never noticed about your cheeks. I think you look great! They don't even look filled to me.
Thank you so much for that. I am used to them now and I think they look pretty much like they used to before I had it done.
You are candid, honest and just beautiful. You actually look younger even without makeup! All for looking as great as possible!!! Best wishes.
Best wishes to you too! Thank you so much for your very kind compliments. I appreciate you watching my video.
Lol
Glad it worked out so well for you! Thanks for sharing that.
I think it is time for anyone to stop apologising and try and justify why we not want to look old.
Love you!
Thank you so much for your nice comments. Yes, a neck lift would be very helpful if that is your area of concern.
Thanks so much Susan! Best wishes on your journey. 💝💝💝
Very wise!
I love your channel 40 year old woman here saying thank you, for the truth and honesty about what to with aging

Hello
Your honesty is so refreshing. You are beautiful inside and out. So happy to have found your program. Thanks so much for sharing.
You are so welcome!
You are a wonderful woman not only because you look pretty but mainly because you help us to feel better. Thanks a lot! ❤️ Lara from Italy
You are so welcome Lara! You live in a beautiful country. My husband and I visited there for our 30th wedding anniversary. It is lovely.
Good point Hanan !

Hi Ashley, Thank you! Will do!
Hi
@@gingersmith2888 I didn't really need the lower lids done, but it didn't hurt. No scars or anything.
Love your honesty! You’re real and no pretensions. You’re doing just great! ❤️
Thank you so much. I just think people should know what other women are doing. Some women don’t admit to anything and I think that’s just not very fair to others. Someone who has done nothing should not compare themselves and favorably to someone who has done some tweaks.

Wow! The vein removal is crazy-good!
What a difference!!

I’m so excited to see your results. I’m right behind you!
Hi Kim. I am looking forward to sharing my results with you! I’m glad to know you plan on making some tweaks too. Glad to know I’m not alone in this.
Hi
I wish i could afford some treatments Beth but thank you for all the other non invasive treatments you try. I'm now derma rolling.😊
Beth, in the past month I started experiencing leg heaviness and pain.
I went to a doctors for scelotherapy on my varicose veins. My veins were not bad
but two treatments have vastly improved the way my legs feel. I walk 8k almost every day.
I am thrilled with the results.
Those veins come from eating floury stuff. Removing carbs from the diet helps a great deal. I am 67 and don’t have one vain popping up. My legs is smooth like when i was young. Diet is everything in a way we look later in life.
@@JCX-9 Thankyou…….don’t eat many carbs, mostly keto.
They were not bad btw.
That’s so interesting. Thank you for sharing that.
Yes, asymmetry is normal. I didn't notice the eye difference until you pointed it out.
You’re a beautiful woman. Thank you for being so transparent and frank about these procedures!
@@FiftyPlusBeauty I am a Taurus... April 27....I wish you all the best always !!!
Hi
my gosh you look incredible and I think even younger makeup free!!!!
Awww you’re so real and sweet
Beautiful and one of the best on you tube ♥️🌺
Thank you so much for your kind words Lorrie! I really appreciate your nice compliments.
You look beautiful! Im 42 and recently got botox, and fillers in my cheeks, lips, and tear troughs. I love the results.
As long as you and your husband are good with your procedures go for it!
Thank you so much Debbie. My husband has gone through a lot with me. He’s very supportive which is nice.
I so admire your honesty and transparency. You’re my hero. Did my eyes 22 yr ago, best thing I ever did
Hi Nancy. I am so glad you had your eyes done 22 years ago with such great results! Yes, good work is life-changing. Love you and thanks for watching.
You ARE aging gracefully - in your own way - good for you! (from your 74 year old "older" sister)
I love your honesty! That’s most beautiful indeed!
Thank you so much. You are so kind to say that. I really appreciate you watch in my channel.
I actually think that now your cheeks look amazing 😻
Thank you so much for your kind words of support. I really appreciate that Natalie.
You are gorgeous! Your doing little tweaks along the way, it looks natural and lovely.
Thank you so much!
I love your cheeks! I'm all things anti aging. You look beautiful!
You are so beautiful. Your cheeks looks great. We are our own worst critic. 🦋🙏🦋
Keep up the good work : )
Thank you so much Gigi! I really appreciate all of your kind words. You have my grandmother’s name! I loved her so much.
It does not matter about your cheek fillers, you're still the most beautiful 64 year old that I know of!!! 😍😍😍 Forget about the other negative comments.
Thank you so much for your very nice compliments Joy. I really appreciate that.
Yay
You look better than most celebrities!!!
Thank you Teresa for your nice complement. I have to admit though that the excellent lighting here really does help. I wish I could carry it around with me!
Can’t wait to follow along your journey. I’m 52 years old and I love to hear and See your channel. Thank you for all the information and the transparency your share with us.
Thank you so much for your very nice comments. I am so glad you found my channel too!
You look beautiful!!! 😎
Thank you so much Vivian! You’re a sweetheart.
Thank you for being so honest. I think you look great! I feel if a woman wants to have procedures, go for it!!!
Thank you so much. I appreciate you watching my video.
A small percentage of people become 'immune' to Botox, meaning it no longer works for us. That's why I'm interested in all the devices out there, like microcurrent, red light, radio frequency, etc, to improve the quality of my skin.
I hadn’t heard that could happen. I appreciate you sharing that. Yes, I think home devices can really be so helpful.
You’re lips and cheeks look amazing!! I know you said you didn’t like it but it really makes your skin look firm and smooth! Gorgeous!
Thank you so much! I had the fat transfer so long ago that I think it is gone now which is just great.
Lol!
@@FiftyPlusBeauty I think you missed the point.
You could pass for 50 woman!!
Thanks so much Sarah! You’re a sweetheart!
Hello how are you
Hi Beth, I think you look amazing.
I love your honesty and knowledge about what procedures are available. Thank you ❤
I'm not over 50 yet but I am so happy I found your channel! You are absolutely gorgeous.
Wow, thank you!
I think you are absolutely beautiful and best of luck with your future procedures!
Thank you for being so honest… I love your honesty and you look great!
Thank you so much!
So happy to see you in a different hair style.
I wish you a speedy recovery for any procedure you have done and I hope it exceeds your expectations. x
Dear Beth, I love how honest you are! You are the best! Thank You for all the info you share!
You are so welcome! Have a great day.
Very clever analogy (beginning @ the 16:24 mark). Looking gorgeous (as usual). 🌟
Thank you so much! My husband loves cars so a car analogy comes easy for me.
Thank you, Beth, for being so open and honest! You really help me! You look amazing and you are so inspiring!!
Thank you so much for your very nice compliments. Glad to have you
You are beautiful.
@@FiftyPlusBeauty I am so glad that you ll be visiting us..it is indeed a long way from Kansas to Athens but I believe you will love it !
So happy to find your channel. Wonderful content. Thank you. 🙌.
You are so welcome! I love your channel name. Live like a winner is wonderful advice!
You look absolutely amazing Beth ❤❤
