Tata Tigor iCNG AMT: First Drive | Better than Dzire and Aura?|

Get ready for the first drive review of the Tata Tigor iCNG AMT! A product which combines the affordability of CNG with the ease of an automatic transmission and tells us how Indian car customers are changing. But does it actually deliver? The heart of the Tigor iCNG AMT is a 1.2L Revotron engine, delivering 73 PS and 95 Nm torque in CNG mode and the ARAI-certified fuel efficiency figure is 28.06 km/kg. The Twin CNG mechanism, positioned under the 181 L luggage area is one of the USPs of this car which positions itself as the first CNG sedan in India with automatic transmission. Tata Motors has claimed that the transmission offers smooth gear changes and effortless driving, particularly in urban traffic. A car with a 4-star GNCAP rating and standard safety equipment like dual airbags, ABS with EBD, corner stability control etc has a couple of CNG-centric safety features as well. It’s great to see you in your new version. However, I personally think you were not a great choice for this review, only because of your body proportions. You are more suited for luxury brands, primarily made for American/European markets. For this car, which is an extremely compact sedan, someone regular sized was suitable because we can relate with them and they can access more things in and around the car than what you could have because of the restrictions of a human body in confined spaces.
Poor management call, which you executed to the best of your abilities and experience. 👏🏽
