Made PERFECT sense. Usually people over-emphasize their personal preferences. For example, when I heelflip I setup like an ollie. I'm injured right now but this motivates me to get better!!!! Can't wait to learn FS flips 😎 thanks Sewa. PS camera angles helped so much
Yeah I realize that a lot of people give up on trying certain tricks cause they set their feet up in a way that might not be comfortable for them, just because they were told that they “should” put their feet a certain way in order to learn a trick. Sorry to hear about your injury. I wish you a speedy recovery! Shout out to my boy on the camera angles! 🙏🏼👊🏼👊🏼
I can actually frontside flip and catch em okay after this, very helpful, and I have only been skating a little over a year, thats when you know the tutorial is good👌🏻👌🏻
I landed my first frontside flip this weekend, and I credit this video\Sewa. Just watching how he does it in slow mo really helped me to understand what was happening and helped me to correct what I was doing wrong. So thank you for that 👊
sorappe 10 You can Ollie higher by practicing on obstacle heights you haven’t done yet. You wont get higher Ollies from just doing them on flatground, you must start going over higher and higher obstacles. It will feel uncomfortable at first and you will probably doubt you can Ollie something with a height you have never done, but just keep at it.
Yes! You can also try to stack boards and Ollie over them and step it up by adding an extra board when you feel comfortable doing an Ollie over a certain amount of boards
this is my DREAM trick. I don't have kickflips on lock yet tho, nor are my 180s all that steezy for that matter. Def will come back to this video when I'm ready
It good to see that someone else places there foot the same way I do kickflips. I honestly never seen anyone else place their feet position that way until today.
Dude you've got a damn perfect flick. I'd love to see you break down the fundamentals to develop a perfect flick (if such things even exist). Great channel, dude! Can't wait to see you kicking some asses in Slides and Grinds here in Brazil.
Landed 2 fully rotated fs flips on flat before this video without pivot. I'm excited to keep trying and I learned pretty much everything you said, but it was still sick to see you fs flip
Been a long time since I dropped a comment. You are definitely one of the best out there. I cant belive you actually got better. So smooth, so clean. You remind me of tom penny
most tricktips be like: "just do the 180 ollie and put it together with the kickflip, catch it 90 land and roll away!..." thanks for getting so detailed... i always had my struggles with fs flips.... the way you explained was great...now everything makes scence in my head haha.... i will nail them this year once i start skating again and i will let you know how it worked out peace from germany my brother
Really proper speech and presentation bro! I'll try to get my fs flips on point with your tips, i've only been able to land it a few times so far. Keep up the good work!
Thanks Sewa! Really helps. Been stuck on that trick for about ten years now. Hopefully able to get them on lock soon due to these tips. Fs shifty flip is just a matter of locking shoulders halfway, or not? Asking for a friend :) Keep em coming those tricktip vids!
Happy you liked the vid and hope you get frontside flips down 😁 with flip shifty’s I’m more focused on flipping and turning my legs / lower body back once I flip it 90, but I think for some people it can definitely help if they focus on the shoulders. To be honest, when I do 180’s I personally don’t focus a lot on my shoulders, which could be because I’ve been doing a lot of these tricks for a while, so winding up my shoulders before a 180 trick just goes automatically without thinking about it. I just know that when you learn a new trick or get stuck on a trick, that for some people it might be in the shoulders, so that’s why I explained the shoulder part in this trick tip vid as well. My bad for the long story 😅 I hope this feedback helps 🙏🏼👊🏼
Great video! Beautifully filmed and edited. Trick was performed flawlessly. Interesting how skating has evolved. Back in the day the back foot was placed more towards the pocket and the front foot was angled so much it was almost parallel! The motion was more of a snap the tail, kick down, and out. That has been the hardest habit to break out of! Got my work cut out for me but a great trick tip to use as a reference 😉
Thanks man! Yeah I feel you. I used to set up the way you described it, but then I started to do kickflips with my front foot straight (I realized I was able to take kickflips higher with me like that) and applied that to frontside flip as well 😁
Bs flips are way easier (even I can do them :O ), try putting ya back foot more toeside, makes the deck angle inwards a bit as it pops up, gives the flip foot more to flick against.
Do more sewa very nice. i skate alot like a shitty version of you, like doing every flip in every stance but i want to get everything as crisp as you so it helps a lot to know what goes through your mind on tricks. fs flip is perfect as i struggle on the regular and fakie ones thank you
You have one of the cleanest Styles out there! Thank you for this video. Do you have a shoe sponsor? I always wanted to know who you ride for. You deserve the best and seem like a good guy.
Watching you in battles and just skate in general it seems like you never cock your front foot at a angle, it always looks straight across the board. It’s wild to me to do all the flip tricks without your foot angled, that’s some boss shit 😎💯
What an amazing video Sewa! Your tricks look like Magic! Shotout to Brazil we all love to see you skate you look such like a great dude! Hope you win slides and grinds too lol
Hyped you liked it! Definitely gonna come up with more tutorials. I’m not really good at impossibles though, so I won’t be able to break that one down 😅😬 Keep it up 👊🏼👊🏼
I was there!

Leonardo Fioravanti nah that’s just when you know you’re good at skating😂
It’s been 5 years and today I finally landed a frontside flip without cheating with the pivot. Now I have to learn inwards and hardflips
I landed my first frontside flip this weekend, and I credit this video\Sewa. Just watching how he does it in slow mo really helped me to understand what was happening and helped me to correct what I was doing wrong. So thank you for that 👊
how to ollie higher.

I taught you that my friend! Hope you remember?! Good old day’s! ;)
This is the best detailed tutorial out there! Thanks Sewa

By far the best frontside flip tutorial out there! Can’t wait to skate tomorrow and try them!
so well spoken, nice and humble
Bro your styles so clean, love watching you skate, you helped me a lot !!
Great tutorial! I also try to make sure my back shoulder does full 180 to land properly in switch position and roll away straight.
Whoever films for you does such an amazing job! The angles are insane
Landed 2 fully rotated fs flips on flat before this video without pivot. I'm excited to keep trying and I learned pretty much everything you said, but it was still sick to see you fs flip

Tom Penny definitely would love your Frontside Flips. After all, he is the master of them.

peace from germany my brother
I like how your fs flips actually are fs flips and not the “hard flip style “ “muska flip” super smooth
your tricks are too clean
I always liked doing this trick with the same little pivot at the end. 2:27 feels and looks mad buttery that way imo.
Stoked on the direction u r headed Seva!
this video shows how every trick tip video should be.
Really proper speech and presentation bro! I'll try to get my fs flips on point with your tips, i've only been able to land it a few times so far. Keep up the good work!
For me it helps to have my back foot in toe side pocket. That was a key thing for me to learn fs flips
Inspiration I needa get this trick!❤💪
You got it! Keep up the good work 👊🏼👊🏼
Thanks Sewa! Really helps. Been stuck on that trick for about ten years now. Hopefully able to get them on lock soon due to these tips. Fs shifty flip is just a matter of locking shoulders halfway, or not? Asking for a friend :) Keep em coming those tricktip vids!

This is the best tutorial explanation
Beautiful style . True art !

Please make a trick tip about Backside Flip...
I’m honestly not as good at backside flips anymore, so I won’t be able to give proper trick tips on those 😩
I have one on my channel that may help ya
Bs flips are way easier (even I can do them :O ), try putting ya back foot more toeside, makes the deck angle inwards a bit as it pops up, gives the flip foot more to flick against.
@@KalebJones803 i saw your clip and I have to say that your BS Flip is good... But I want to land it 180 rather than 90 and slide or pivoting
@@mrprivatej0ker110 the slide is only when u having fun on flat when u jumping down shit u have to turn your upper body befor u even pop that helps me
Awesome trick tip Sewa frontside flips are so hard for alot of us, front heels are so much easier for me to land
Thanks! Hope this vid will help you with fs flips! Keep it up👊🏼👊🏼
