This Man Did Not Just Play Guitar & Sing - He Was A True ARTIST!! It Came Gushing Straight From His Soul! Stevie, You Are SO MISSED!! God Bless You, My 12-Step Brother! SOUL💞SOUL💗😘
SRV's Number One, he bought it in '74 used at a guitar shop. The owner of the shop, Ray, asked why he wanted that pos. SRV said that he liked how it felt in his hands. Ray helped SRV rebuild the guitar into what became Number One. Oh yeah, that guitar was traded in about two weeks before SRV bought it by a guy named Christopher Cross. Maybe you've heard of him?
Very good you know you're Stevie... not a lot of people know about Christopher Cross and the number ones life... I'm still searching for some old pictures of Christopher maybe catching number one in his hands little newer less for where!.. did Christopher put on the 62 neck on the 59 body?
I love this whole performance. It is my favorite. This was after he got sober. His technique was so much crisper. He was at his peak performance wise. He was actually loving life at this time in his life and it reflected in his playing. He was having fun.
Congratz for getting all the Fender/SRV goods... He was such a pro in every way, this sounded just like the studio recording itself only better. Thank's Julio!
YEAH!!! I saw him play live twice and youre right ill never forget it.
