GT7 wins in the car models detail and lighting in current racing games. FH5 has probably the second best car models (except for some old car models from past Forza games which are not that great). But In terms of the general environmental graphics FH5 wins hands down compare to GT7. Both are different games though and not very comparable. I don't really like GT7 due to its economy, forced online, microtransactions, excessive grind compared to past GT games, timed limited purchasable cars etc. Its sad since the core game is actually amazing. I support FH5 on this one even though its not perfect, its a better game in general for me.
what do you mean environmental graphics? Lightning, particle effects, collision physics, textures, colour gradation, all is better in GT... Yeah, different games, and forza has the open world but everything that can be compared is better on GT than Forza.
I totally agree. My friend bought an rtx 3090 and he wanted to play Gran Turismo on his PC that he JUST built at the time, but since it's not available on PC, he had to buy a ps5 to use his wheel on. He was mad that he had to spend more money on a game system, when he just bought and built an insane system. Accessibility is truly the main issue for this game.

Reason to that is because of his parents being abusive and neglectful. He was kind of taken care of up until he was 12 years old and since then, he's been feeding himself. I didn't know he was going to purchase a $5000+ computer to play gt7. If I did, I would have most definitely told him that it wasn't available on pc, but on ps4/ps5. I know you weren't coming off as being mean, I'm just feeling guilty about the whole situation. This all happened about three weeks ago. He's a nice guy, he can barely trust people though, hell, he still can barely trust me and I've known him all these years.
GT5/GT6 I think are a good example of what a car roster should be.... Old Forza games had a mixture of everything fun to drive, no matter the cost and speed. All cars have a following. Horizon treats itself like a 10 year olds bedroom and it's getting old.
Never played forza but Idk man forza dosent has much variety like its overrated models that people say are cool when they are overlooking them But gt6 still has the Guinness record of 1200 cars in one game and gt7 is reviving dead classics but forza feels bland Like I said never played forza but I find gt more varied and more fun to play (no I didn't drift a 80s golf around shutoku) Also forza with gt and nfs is lacking modding capabilities so you can argue asseto and carx have more cars than forza

Car games comparison are pretty hard since they have very different characteristics at all. FH5 could be compared to The Crew and NFS, but FH it's a simcade (if I'm not wrong) while other 2 are basically full arcade. The correct comparison would be GT and Forza Motorsport. (Let's not consider Assetto Corsa exists). And each game has it own characteristic.
