You're not kidding about the sun! I never needed sunglasses that often until i moved here. Also was not expecting it to be in the 50s through most of December.

Panera? For years their prices have been going up and the quality has been going down. The Grand Valley is not missing anything there.
Love the videos, keep them coming.

The deep blue sky is something my Mom always talked about. We lived there as a family twice - in the 50s and in the 70s. I’d love to move back. Stunning natural surroundings.

I'll be moving into an apartment there soon. Hopefully I'll be contacting you in the near future looking for a home!

Oh my….I don’t think I would want to go to exchange the public lands of Colorado for Indiana. But, I know there are great people out there too.
Wow….so many great points to consider for the Grand Valley! Thank you for highlighting them.

I might have to move there for the killer off roading.Miles of great single track aroung Grand Junction and Nearby Fruita.Gets a bit hot in the summer though.

Do it! The Summer isn't bad at all. "Maybe" 10-14 days just over 100. The rest mid 90's with low humidity. 👍

Hi! We have considered moving to Grand Junction for a long time, but my husband loves boating and wakeboarding. Are there lakes close by that allow that type of recreation? Thanks in advance!

    • @LivinginGrandJunctionColorado
      @LivinginGrandJunctionColorado  หลายเดือนก่อน

Yep! Highline Lake as well as a Wakeboard Park in Fruita! 👍

The one thing about that distribution center in Colorado Springs. In n out will only go 500 miles from one to a location. But there's been one in Salt Lake for years. We should have had one years ago
I'm thinking 2026 or 2027 before they build one here.
    Which is fine
I travel to Kingman Arizona and Vegas all the time. And in n out in st geroge Utah is always my first meal 😊

Can you give some insight on the high crime statistics? Grand Junction checks so many boxes for me, but major hesitation due to what I'm seeing on every statistic website I've visited.

Very misleading to say the least. In fact, one of those sites was called out by our local Police and Sheriffs because of how inaccurate they were. The Owner of the website quoted the wrong stats and actually lives in Serbia. Our Violent Crime, which is what most people are concerned with, is well below the National average. We've never had an issue.

I have a old performance jet boat, are there any lakes nearby that we could rip and ski? Also, what is the political climate there, conservative or liberal? The political map states mostly republican but voter registration for the street we were searching states mostly dem.

I was in Grand Junction in 2001 for work, when I came back to Florida, I was super depressed. The surroundings are hypnotizing later returned about eight years later for a possible business move, but did not work out. Apparently there is a curse if you don’t bring dirt back with you, you will be back to Grand Junction, if I could only figure out what type of business to set up, I would move there in a heartbeat

Geese where are the 400,000 houses? What I’ve seen that’s average is at least 750,000.
