Mount Apo, also known locally as Apo Sandawa.
Elecation: 2,954 meters (9,692 ft) above sea level
Location: between Davao City and Davao del Sur province in Region XI and Cotabato in Region XII
it is the highest-mountain in the Philippine Archipelago and 24th-highest peak of an island on Earth.. Mount Apo is most-prominent mountain in the Philippines. It is a protected area and a Natural Park of the Philippines.It is one of the country's most popular hiking/climbing destinations. Apo having a literal translation of Grandfather of all Mountains, nurtures abundant fauna and flora within its monstrous slopes creating an adventure for exploration and trailing.
Climbing is fun but must not be taken lightly, be sure to be physically and mentally prepared all throughout the journey.
