The best part on a friday was waiting around all day and then at 1500 its time to pull weapons out to do maintenance because someone forgot to put that out in the morning.
Or do area beautification because post sergeant major found out he pissed off his wife and now needs excuses not to go home to her cause he a cucked POS……. true stories from 7th ID, 1992
Former track mechanic here, long lunch breaks are inaccurate. It's more like 4 35min smoke breaks. What do you want from us though, all the damn vehicles are from the the Vietnam era and all the parts we used are refurbished or stolen off another vehicle, the Army mechanic way.
In a good support unit, mechanics probably work the hardest and longest. As unpopular as the comment is going to be, cooks have some crazy hours too. I was a mechanic working 4am to midnight every day just trying to get the job done. While the other attachments would show up for morning formation and head home after. Then you wonder why mechanics say screw it after a while.
Good job, guys. we got all the work done early. Now we can all sit around and do nothing until 1600, upon which we will have found more work that needs to be done right now for whatever reason
Continuing to bully the S-shops can do one of two things. A: Progressively make them better because leadership might see that their shit. Or B: do worse…… Knowing them, more than likely B
Should change that to shit nobody in the Army says. Pretty sure it's not just infantry. That patch on your shoulder, one of the worst units I served in. Definitely not getting early time off.
The Cyber Awareness one got me good smh
I had to do a full-body eye-roll/groan, if that can be accurately described
@@koningkonaan1899 the struggle is real.
So... this is the politics my high school friend in the Army was talking about, well, at least the small part of the whole ugly ass picture!

It's Monday and it's beautiful outside, so let's go for a 8 mile run
Good enough I guess
Mondays... Btn 'fun run' in the infantry meant 10 miles for my company because 'we don't quit - they do.'
In a parallel universe
"I always know what I'm going to do at work. It's awesome!" Lol

Bro u nailed this
underated asf
Back in the late 80s we got released early when I was in my Airborne Battalion in Panama sometimes. That shit will never happen in mech infantry.
Did you shave every day?
@@francisruggiero8361 Yes
I’da stayed in my if I was in that unit. Lmfao that last one was the funniest
Yeah, idk why our mechanics take like 2 hours of lunch break, but every time I need a track mechanic, they are never there
We’re tired of dealing with people who can’t formulate proper sentences and that can’t do their own pmcs because they lack any kind of brain
This is the whole Army, not just 11B.
there actually are a lot of times where we do get released early.....it's usually on the hush though
Because the co wanna leave early too but they don’t wanna get caught either lol of course
And yet I still miss it everyday....
I remember those days waiting in the CP for final formation which was usually around 2000

Shit that’s the Artillery too 😂
The dude must be an 11b leg unit." All the way, Bro "
I only have 106 days left in the U.S. Army IRR.

Thank you for your service
This is gold 💯 Too accurate
What!!!! Nobody shaves any more.
Them army computers actually run decently fast if you update your drivers that havent been updated in 6 years 🤣
Yeah, if you can find the 6.
You must be a 25B 😅
Earrings in the Army now? 🌈
High five if you've ever 'dropped' a secure laptop because it lost its encryption again.
😂GOT IT!!! HOTTER THAN FISH GREASE!!!
Wanna know what else nobody in the infantry says? "Yeah, bro. Ear rings, beards, and long hair are fine."
That has to be the modern Army! It wasn't like that in the 80's!!
Canadian infantry would sound like "I love 'top high' excersises" or "I'll take 'hard rations' over 'fresh rats' any day"
This is so spot on 😂😂😂
It's SO EFFICIENT.
oh no...somebody added halucinagens to the water buffallo again...
"i love these road marches"
1st ID. Fuuuck that. Lmao. All the way, brother.
More like combat arms in general
Yup. The title could've said Combat Engineers and would've been equally accurate.
…. I don’t need to shave!
This man is a legend.
Training is the best joke ever told. Until those ORIs come along.
Am not even in the USA army and I am relating to this
Def parallel, has earrings in
Major pog vibes here.
Shit nobody in the military says period 😂😂😂😂
I'm an Infantry Veteran...yeah things have changed imo😂
Shit nobody says: unshaven and earrings as a captained I love the big army Hoooah
Ah the statistically most likely to die corps
Fort. Irwin baby! Lol 😂😂
Must be the new Army? HA ha!??
These Army computers are SO fast
I wish

I had a roommate that was a mechanic. I can vouch for his long hours.

Laughing may ass off. this is so good. Former combat infantryman paratrooper. WTF is cyberawarenesss?
your gonna get fucking smoked on those ridgelines my girlfriend freaked 😂 she was like who is gonna smoke us
Don't know what Army infantry doesn't say, but Army grooming standards are in the shitter. You can't act like a soldier if you don't look like one.

Why the "F"is their army lame in a marine corps video

I read this post 4 times, and I STILL can't make any sense of it. -_-
Funny how this dude changes his rank and unit patches throughout. Wouldn't be impersonating an officer would he?
That's not how that works but this guy was actually an officer afaik
We never have this issue in the Ranger battalion
Yep. S1+mechanics killed me, did a 6 year stint in 4ID 3ABCT.
This is all true and funny. But you joined something your supposed to die in..quit these tiktok vids
How about shaving? You all look sloppy. Where is the discipline? What is Biden doing to our army?
Hey, I really don’t care! I wasn’t Infantry except in BSC, I was Field Artillery guy
