This is great. However, there's been a certain amount of "inflation" of the game's difficulty that has left some of the weapon powerups in the dust. The Megabomb hasn't had an update since level 9 or so, before Nightmare mode was introduced and before levels 10-13. While it's ok for clearing away projectiles, it's virtually useless now for clearing out enemies. The laser is also barely more powerful than the primary cannon; its only benefit is that it goes through enemies without losing power. Are there plans to give a megabomb/laser upgrade at some point?
In the beginning there must be a pair of barrel piles which they blow up to sky and explode as mega bomb. In your game they didn't show up tho. I think The Classic with Mr. Panic is the best choice for this stage. As I perfectly did this week.

FYI, I'm not sure if this is a bug or a difficult-but-exploitable feature on Stage 5. If you happen to hit a color cube on stage 5, and you play your cards right, the energy ball will hit your partner and vanish, leaving you free to play the rest of the level normally, sans energy ball. It allowed me to get 100% stars + no dmg + 100% hostages + 100% enemies in a single run on nightmare--not an easy feat.
Why platform is this? Playing iOS and don’t have have either this main weapon(the continuous string laser) or side weapons or able to move at the speed you do? Looks brilliant though and can’t wait to get past stage 13. Also you have unlocked a 4th lvl per stage which I haven’t got yet. Any advice would be great cheers
The laser was nerfed? Damm so it once was actaully useful? I can't stand the laser. Its just tappy tappy five dollar all day to kill anything. And when not playing with a tablet or a pen its super annoying to do that with the average smart phone.

Stage 14 is crazy! But stage 13 is more difficult after the Christmas update. The level on the whole is slight more tough and Omega is now a tough nut to crack. In its final sequence, you have to destroy all 4 'shields' in order to do damage and destroy Omega. Worst of all, I've yet to achieve 'untouch' on level 13 nightmare.
To improve your card/part hunting odds, play the highest level... on the highest difficulty... with the Ace of Spade (th-cam.com/video/EueppSoYfyw/w-d-xo.html) and Lucy Clover (th-cam.com/video/TUy6roA_tMo/w-d-xo.html).

daaaaamn lol. Martin did you know they patched the classic. if you Tap with 2 fingers for to long you know that super charger tapping we do on the classic. it blows up! 😅 and the screen shake is insane. and wow can't wait to get my hands on stage 14!

the stored charge was nerfed, so if not careful you can blow up while tapping. still viable if you can get the tap down.

The additional shield requirement should be to hard, just more time consuming. the laser nerf definitely hurts though.

when beat, it jumps back into the white light. if not careful, the saw blades can still hit you when exiting.

yes but the missiles still need a DPS buff.
with the supercharge card. Octopus has supercharged missiles while other planes don't.
