  • The 50 gallon water barrel isn't quite enough for 10 feeder pigs out in the woodlot. We upgrade the waterer and deliver 680 lbs. of fresh water for the hogs.

Just found your channel and as someone who’s dabbled in hobby farming on and off for 20 years but have some health issues now, I wanted to thank you for reigniting my passion for it, you and your family seem like amazing people and after seeing how you have overcome health issues with the help of nature and farming you have given me the push I needed to start re establishing my land.
God bless and thanks again 👍🇨🇦

The piglets are sooo cute! Another farm cat is a pretty good idea if it's a good mouser. Nice pig waterer and feeder that you got from Hunter. The pigs look really happy on the hill. Yay! The walk in freezer too. Nice set-up Justin. Thanks for the video.

I’ve said it once here and I’ll say it again, I recommend looking at a Ram Pump for your water needs when it’s far away like this. This pump doesn’t require electricity or power. It relies on the design to function, you just need a flowing water source (which you have). Forget all this hauling of water. Look into a Ram Pump, please. It will be a slow flow of water but it works 24/7, so it adds up quickly. You can pump the water uphill past the point of where you draw it from also. Please look into this :) Save your back. Love your videos! Been a subscriber for a few years now! Learned a lot from you!

I know you are looking for a water source higher in the property but have you looked into putting in a pond on an elevated part of the property. Or putting in some Cisterns buried In the ground that you can fill with the well pump or set up a water catchment system using rain water for the animals. This will ultimately save you on hauling water up hill all the time.
