I have to say that after only one hour of playing with the Inkscape software and watching this TH-cam tutorial, I was blown away with how many features and how much I can do with this freeware. I have it running in Linux Ubuntu and I would rate Inkscape a 10 out of 10!

There's a very slight voice over error at 11:06, the voice says "Go to object" but the cursor is shown going to the "Layer" menu. I don't imagine it's a big enough problem to be worth reuploading for though as it's clear what's meant.
@user-wj8kv2rv4u Oh I use it for my art since I can resize my sprites really cleanly and export them as bitmap if I need them resized. I can do it with my rendering framework but I lose some quality to its linear scaling algorithm so replacing the image with a new inkscape export just makes it look better. Also I just like vector art style in general haha 😄

Can you help me on why my wide format images are being cut off in print? I have my inkscape document properties set to my 11x17 paper, I have my image laid inside the viewing box (landscape) at 11.5x4, i enter print settings and set all my paper options to 11x17 and landscape. Of course, at 11.5x4 there is plenty of empty space available on the paper (and display box). Once i enter the print preview, it cuts off at random areas and seems like the display box on the preview is not 11x17. I dont know how to combat this and I am on the verge of switching softwares for my larger prints. Thank you

So much more intuitive and user friendly than Illustrator. Adobe need to sort their fundamentals out if they expect people to keep paying through the nose for their software. Between Gimp, DaVinci Resolve, Blender and Inkscape, and now Stable Diffusion all that's left in the Adobe arsenal that really stands proud is After Effects and that's only because of the third party plug-ins. Sure they've got the features, but 99% of the time they're not worth the headaches. Great tutorial, thanks!

You simply have to remove the fill. The circle 'not filled' is a circle with a colored stroke with transparent fill. Make sure to watch the entire video to see how to do this!
can you please help me , when i clip 2 images jpeg or png, it shows nothing ( like its blank) there is still an outline of a object which i can move but i cant see anything . i have check my opacity and transperancy and they are 100%, 0% please tell me the solution

One cuestion: In the minute 11:19 you shows the parts of the layers, images, text... I think that i close that option and that doesn´t appear to me. You know were do i click for that. When I download Inkscape, I have 5 times now. I never get more than a blank white page. I need instruction in how to download beyond getting a blank page.
Are you saying you just get a blank with no tools? Or just a blank page within the tools? It should open with just a blank page within the tools outside.
@@bai You didn't explain how to create circles, rectangles are simple but creating a circle is not very intuitive. But I did figure it out after awhile. Thanks for the tutorial though.
