  • Have you ever wondered what to do with the many scraps of Designer Series Paper you may have laying around. Why not try a Floating Strip Card? This card is the last in a 5 day series of cards that I featured using the In Symmetry Bundle and Sweet Symmetry Designer Series Paper. The Floating Strip Card was not only easy, but it was really fun to make. I loved the final product. To see supplies, measurements and to download the PDF Tutorial, visit: simplykardsbyk...

I really love these! Do you sell your cards too or use them all... or give away? Why did you start SU? I have been a big crafter my whole life. I have made many cards too, but they have been mostly for special occasions and can take a very long time to make. I think they are beautiful,v but I watched a Stampin up person create beautiful cards simply and sticky quickly by using the right cardstock, inks, etc.... just like you. It took me 2 years to say yes, still apprehensive, but I am really loving it more and more every day, and glad I did. There's a purpose for each type of card I think... simple versus the ones with a lot of extra effort. I'm just on another adventure in my life a I help care for my 98 year old Mom.

Thank you, Sandy! I have been making cards for 20+ years. I do all of the above: sell, use, give away! I guess that's the beauty of cardmaking. It brings me alot of joy to make them, but then hopefully, they brighten someone else's day when they receive them...I joined Stampin' Up! a year ago once I was retired. Now, I get to do something else that I love every day! You're right, it is another adventure or chapter in our lives!🙂
