- Finally the King Mackerel are back in the area and I plan to get out and catch some! I just made a video and took my Kayak out and realized after $350+ was gone... I should have just stayed home. This turned into much more of a fail video!

I feel the frustration man! I’ve snapped two poles after flipping in the surf before. You handled that way better than I would have. 😂
Thankfully that hasn’t happened to me yet! But regardless, it was a shock! I just want the fish that took my pole off the side! 😂

180 degree bend in the rod, most rods will break with that much angle and heavy drag.

Have you ever done any fishing at Powell lake? I’m headed down next weekend and was hoping to grab some mangrove snapper or some reds out of it but I wasn’t sure how the fishing was there.
