These two designs for "Buck Rogers" were brilliant. Also, in the show, I believe the Draconian Marauders were also referred to as "Hatchet fighters". There was a great shot that was used in every episode in which they appeared, where three would peel off. It looked fantastic.
It’s nice to see a kit that I remember being relatively simple to build given this kind of treatment. It reminds me that the execution is what matters, not the aftermarket parts or the sophistication of the kit. Now if I could just do it myself…
