@The Bike of Eli As much as I love my Street Glide, when I get on my Low Rider, it's the league of its own. Had 9K when I got it, now has 37K. The Dyna has a few quirks. If I could change one thing it would be the vibration. It doesn't have the greatest motor mounts. But as others have said, that's part of the charm. When I get on and grip it & rip it, it's love man!
@@bluesriderDF I love that vibration personally. I experienced a little bit of the Dyna death wobble with my super glide, but so far the Lowrider s is Stout! I completely agree, they are definitely a league of their own!
@@thebikeofeli gotcha heard quite a bit of parts need to be replaced on our twin cam 110s valve springs compensator lifters push rods im saving to get all of that although it has s&s push rods so cams probably swapped out.
Congrats man, I have the same seat and pipes on mine. Really the only changes I added were a set of T bars and a bungking crash bar, otherwise HD nailed it out of the gate. I will say that exhaust gets compliments on every ride, but its a bit loud and I suspect much of the exhaust packing is gone. My only complaint is the black finish is starting to get pitted on heat shields, most likely due to love bug season in FL.
Thanks! The street glide has gone to its new home. I went into it knowing I wasn’t going to keep it so I didn’t let myself get too attached too attached to it. It turned out to be a beautiful bike though.
Not going to lie, I've been contemplating switching out my FXLRS for an FXDLS, which in hindsight is a really dumb move but there is something about the twin cam dynas which constantly makes me daydream about them like how an unfaithful husband daydreams about his neighbours wife.
That’s actually why I went with the Dyna. Couldn’t get my mind off it. Here’s the way I look at it. The bike is special. Only made for a year and a half and the last of the dynas. Plus it out performs a Fxlrs (check out blockheads comparison video). Also, as a previous M8 owner I’m impartial to twin cams. Look at how many people have blown up there m8’s with low miles. Marvelkid87 and Travellingtall both blew up their M8’s. Don’t get me wrong. I love the fxlrs, but this bike is special in my opinion.

I have an 2017 FXDLS sweet bike coming from an 03 Road king. Good luck finding the 117 from Harley its been back ordered for awhile.
Funny enough the dealership by me has several 117’s on the floor. They even have a Diablo.

Totally agree. I have a Santoro fabworx crash bar on the way and looking for the right t bar set up.

@@thebikeofeli I went with Lucky Daves "lucky 13" t bars. Perfect height for me personally and I like the clean 1 piece setup.
