This thing honestly transformed the car for me! Cheers! The front to back throw was so disproportionate to the side to side, that I kept half engaging during 2nd>3rd shifts and chirping the gear like a learner driver. One slight caveat… I found that either the pin position was a bit off, this allowed for some free play that could be felt in the lever. I resolved it by fitting a cable tie around the shaft (basically creating a nylon bushing around the pin in the quick shifter). This slight mods made it perfect, there’s zero signs of wear to the cable tie so far, and even if it does eventually fail it won’t cause an issue until you get around to putting another cable tie on.
Thank you for your order and the confidence you have placed in Foresight. We are very pleased that you like our product! We would be happy if you could send us an email to info@foresight-shop.de with a picture of your solution. Best regards Your Foresight-Team
@@foresightgbr No worries, I always recommend it when people mention the excessive shift throw on the forums. I’ll send a pic when I get 5 minutes. It’d be a definite improvement if you could come up with a little nylon or delrin bushing to supply with them, but like I said, the cable tie is very effective anyway!
I have done this three times in the 6500miles... always on a full chat change when hooning with another car! As you said the two planes of the shift are just a bit out of sinc.... I find myself being very deliberate with that 2nd 2rd shift when on it. Glad it is something others have done and to hear this kit sorts out the problem.😊👍

Did you put the cable tie on the shaft holding the part to the gearbox pin, or on the gearbox selector pin itself? Thanks
