Note: One ring being powerful does not make the other rings useless! Current game content has been completed before these two rings came out. I'll happily be using my Serpent Rings until I one day have my new ones!
*IMPORTANT:* I realised I should've added a tierlist for the lower tiers. Lion Ring is only the strongest at EPIC RARITY! This changes at lower rarity. Wolf Rings are stronger than Lion until epic! But I would still work towards to Epic Lion Ring as an end gear goal. For rare tier: Bull Ring is strongest over Serpent Ring, Wolf Rings is stronger over Lion Ring until Epic. Any rarity below rare would depend on what you struggle with in terms of damage towards specific mobs.

the Bull ring works like the serpent ring. it's the same equation. I've tested 2 bull rings and the phantom armor on ch13, The real damage resistence to projectile was 27,1% and not 30%. without equips i got hit 3000 and with equip was 2187
So weird I was playing archero and thought I'd look to see what the new ring perks were cause I'm sure superteeds already has a vid already. Ended up procrastinating for 2-3 archero matches and then finally went and watched vid 10-15 mins ago. Just now realised I must've literally seen this video within 1-2 minutes of you uploading without even realising 😄 thanks for once to my procrastinating. the big problem about calculating what gear is best in this game is the huge influence RNG makes in your progression. For example, the dodge ability gives you 20% evasion and both serpent rings give you less than 14%. The increase damage ++ skill gives you 30% more damage and both lion rings give you 10% increase. A single skill can make more difference than your gear which is kinda disappointing. Anyways, is good to bring up numbers and tests, thanks for the video :)

I love attack speed even with stutter step, you need a bit of extra attack speed with any weapon to deal with being swarmed(by both bullets and monsters) because that way you need a shorter animation for the attack to go off and can move away again making it both defensive and offensive, since it effectively increases your ability to dodge manually and it has the "hidden" bonus of increasing a fuckton the rate and more importantly the precision of strikes(the elemental abilities) strikes+attack speed combo off like a truck and you can't stutter step that. The disadvantage is the extra clutter on screen but it isn't a big deal if you ask me and I think the reduced time before you can move and still get your attack off outweighs this on the defensive side of things, especially in rooms where time is of the essence, not to mention that all extra damage is wasted on the last hit on anything making attack speed have a higher effective dps than the number crunch would imply but since the harder the level the less this relative number is the hidden dps doesn't matter much unless you are farming. Basically my point is that attack speed is the jack of all trades of rings with many hidden bonuses and it combos off with strikes which are 4 high tier abilities with low attack speed but as the speed gets higher it can reach top tier and even God tier, but I started playing a month ago tops so perhaps at the time of this video either the combo with strikes and speed or the strikes abilities themselves weren't as strong because otherwise that's a big oversight that puts that ring on par with dodge and crit one defensive, the other offensive and the last one balanced with combo potential.

I recommend farming chapter 9, 10 and hero mode 6.. I currently have a rare lion and bull ring plus 2 great lion ring and 2 common lion ring.
I've got 2 epic lion rings and I promise I don't regret it, especially after what happened during the days of Ch. 7 and after watching this I realized just blessed I am.
Legendary lion ring + Legendary bull ring = Perfection

Jesus Christ those rings are juicy... the Lion ring (epic) is like combo of (Falcon + wolf) together, BULL ring helps your chapters reaching much easier... damn so many combos :D
Serpent ring’s dodge percentage doesn’t add up?! What?
it does add up but it's not additive its multiplicative , meaning that 2 serpent rings are not equal to plus 14% dodge but a little less. There is a post on reddit about the actual math from someone who took the time to manually check de dodge rate. You can see the numbers he came out with there
With 7% dodge the chance to get hit is 93%. Multiplicative means another 7% chance are applied on the 93% which means the chance to get hit is 93%*93% which is around 86,5%. So the dodgerate is at 13,5%.

I've switched to using Both the Bull ring and the Lion ring to get the best of both of them. Right now I am still stuck on chapter 10 because of the Scythe Mage boss. But it helped me breeze through Ch.9 pretty easily.

Quick question, when I was playing daily I equipped 2 Epic serpent rings, is it better to have 2 epic serpents or just 1 perfect? I was under the impression that perfect epic & legendary don't really add anything much if at all

If you're a HELIX main and f2p like me, bear ring gives a lot more than the 5% hp, it synergizes well with hp boost, bloodthirst and provides helix dps as well. A f2p would never gonna reach base 17k hp like p2w but if you're a HELIX main and f2p, you should consider a bear ring + combination, Im now stuck at chapter 14 stage 4 because apparently this game is more to p2w

Now that lion ring is new meta, what armour goes good with it? It used to be dexterity because of dogs plus serpent but now what?
for me it's still dex vest , since the top two armors are phantom and dex vest, but phantom doesn't work on some bosses (and when it does, it mess their animation such as scythe mage boss on lv 10, making it harder to dodge), also it useless for mob with slow projectile, since while it first hit will freeze the mob, the second and third projectile that has been thrown will still hit you
phantom might be better for pushing chap 14 though

I have been farming chapter 6 for two days and crafted a bull and lion ring to the epic tier with only those drops. I of the rings per run on average.
does it matter if we play on hero mode or normal ones?

Ive tried farming at chapter 10, out of 7 games, i got 10 items. Though i don't know whether it is worth it if you compare the time taken to complete chapter 10 and 6. Maybe you could make a guide comparing these 2? A follow up to your other farming guide video?

I'm getting so frustrated with this game lately. Use to breeze through Up Close Danger, now dying before first boss. Other times, not getting hit by boss...No devil...But wheel give me a heal a don't need because I'm full health. What kinda utter nonsense!!
Hey boys and girls can you all send a message to archero and ask them to make the ad energy and the ad wheel to be reset at the same time as the daily ad pack and daily event . So we don't have to wait diferent hours for the ad energy and the ad wheel. Personally I find it annoying since both my ad energy and ad wheel are active at different times. That will help a lot when I log in to play, cause they dont even have a timer for that.

My list ..(1. Lion) ( 2/3. Wolf/bull ) [ 4. Bear( 16000hp + 1 bear = additional 1000 hp.. give or take.. its 5% of your overall hp not base ] ( 5. Snake) (6. Bird ) [pointless unless used with shade]

What will give you higher damage? Two lion rings or 1lion1bull? Is the 10% damage from the lion ring stronger against mobs than the bull ring?
I now have 1 EPIC lion ring and 2 RARE bull ring. Chapter 6 best farming ground
are those 40% critt-dmg and 10% att-speed only valid for bosses or is it for the other units too? =) if it's not so, than would it make more sense to have 1x Lion and 1x Bull ring for optimal dmg output? :D

Personally I'd prefer doing bull(mob dmg), and lion(boss dmg) so I can get a large overall boost in damage. If I end up gettinf stuck on boss chapters then double lion is good, otherwise a mix of the two would be my fav

The new rings are surprisingly very easy to farm. I farm in chapter 13 it drops 1-3 of the new rings each run it's crazy. I already have both epic lion and bull ring by now a few days after release due to how easy it is to get them. No gems needed just used up all energy i have for farming.
Both rings are really great on Epic. I am very happy with both

Use staff,spear
Arcane archer or Art of combat as you’ll only get ~1 ability from enlightenment even if you’re lucky, use meowgik, helix or phoren
Don’t use bull ring in Chapter 7 and 14 as there are very few enemies. Use vest of dex as there is a chance to avoid a life-threatening hit. Final boss is 2 chapter 6 snakes.
I’m on chapter 13 and it took me 2 months to beat chapter 7 with meowgik lvl 30+
Use agile or angel locket. Just keep farming chapter 6 for scrolls and coins, chapter 3 for items and most importantly, ALWAYS reroll flying bullets for 10 items total, reroll of throughout the level you got no scrolls. Also do up close dangers for coins, use endless for frozen bracelet and agile and angel lockets. Just wait and save up the coins. In 4 runs and always watch the ad for the time reward. You will get phoren that way. Get phoren first so you have 3 heroes for endless. Use phoren then urasil then Atreus. It may take a while, but you will eventually beat it. I was lvl 30 when I beat it.
Is it not known which chapter is best for farming gear rn? I think i got around 7 of the new rings in about 10 runs on chapter 6 so that seems to be good but idk?

So you are only changing your rings to double lion and that's it? No other changes? Because I would change my armor to something more defensive if I dont have the double serpent rings for dodge anymore

Hey Teeds! I am close to getting the item setup I want, would you recommend dismantling items I don't use? I could use the gold and the scrolls. Have there ever been buffs to weaker items I would miss out on in that situation?
There haven't been any buffs and dismantling is not that great atm but if you really need the materials then I would go for it.

I don't get why you overlook attack speed because of your stutter stepping. I did start using it thanks to you, but I had already realized attack speed allowed for faster attacks out of movement. Which means you can stutter step at a faster pace. It requires getting used to the varying rate of fire, but it does help !
No it definitely does but I rather increase my attack power over attack speed as that is something I can manipulate through stutterstepping. Kind of like a free ability. Like I said though, it just comes down to personal playstyle with falcon ring and it's not for me! :)
@@SuperTeeds I see, fair enough. I must agree, sometimes you have to dodge attacks anyway, so I'd take attack over attack speed. Still, I like myself some attack speed, I do think it increases damage output more than say diagonal arrows.
