IMPORTANT PLEASE READ BEFORE COMMENTNG: It seems that the Wiki page information is a little outdated and the wording is a bit off. In regards to Ricochet's damage with Tornado, I meant reduced to, not reduced by, I used the Wiki wording without thinking, sorry about that! The Wiki states it is 30% however, in-game testing shows that it is 38% which makes the numbers 327 - 125 - 48 (still weaker than just using the Tornado as it is, doesn't change the end conclusion.) @@melviccorate6203 Oh sorry, I meant reduced TO 30% not BY 30%, I used the Wiki wording without thinking lol. I always try to use these together: multi shot, attack speed, holiness or electricity, piercing, speed, ricochet, front arrows, rear arrows, and diagonal arrows, bouncy walls, and it is so op. I literally just have to stand still in boss stages and let loose and I can almost instantly kill bosses. This is also great for spiders and snakes and other mobs like that.
Thank you for the guide! I recently started playing Archero, so something like this can give a huge advantage. I hope to see more Archero content on this channel in the future
I did the math too and I can confirm that having 2x multi and 1x front arrow would be by far the highest dps you can get on a single target without bonus effects because most chapters have at least one disappearing boss so having very high damage from a single shot fired would be the wisest choice. Stacking multishots makes the knockback effect proc twice as you said in the video so you can just push back many of the bosses into the corner using that strategy. If you are using the stalker staff NEVER get front arrow, it will increase your damage only if you dont have diagonal yet, getting diagonal is a much better trade off because you get something similar to 2x front arrow but without having your damage reduced by 25% for each front arrow so having diagonal only would theoretically increase your damage 3 times but having both one front and one diagonal would make it also 3 times because you would deal 75% of your initial damage from each of the 4 arrows you shoot (2 from front and 2 extra from diagonal). Also something you didnt say in the video is that multishot adds an extra shot to diagonal arrow, side arrow and rear arrow so this makes it by far better than front arrow dps wise.
I personally use crossbow so bouncy wall isn't essential but crit master with high level crossbow can do 7,000+ damage and that is a rare Gale Force.. I can only imagine an Epic one Edit: Per shot btw that is with no multishot so with multishot it is pretty OP to say the least

Thanks for the information! It literally annoys me so much that you don’t get this kind of information in the game! They should make a weapon guide, pet guide, upgrade guide and a enemy guide in the game.
As a saw blade main, I've had 3 multishot perks, as well as multiple speed boosts. Including knockback effect, it is hilarious to watch how quickly a boss can be pushed in whatever direction you're firing from. Pushing them into a corner and staggering them so much that they can't get an attack off is so satisfying.
it's not only about the raw numbers, but also on what skills you picked. if you have multiple elemental arrows, then it is better to take as many shot multipliers as they all will apply the effects, even though the base attack values are getting lower.
I just completed a run where I had the purple staff with these powers: Multiple arrow x 2, front arrow, diagonal arrow, side arrow, bouncy walls and piercing. I gotta tell it was completely hilarious, my whole screen was full of orbs from the staff, i couldn't see a single enemy and the just stood still and cleared rooms for like 2-3 seconds 🤣
Multiple multi- arrows coupled with a couple attack speed upgrades has another benefit. You can essentially stun lock even a boss with any weapon when you hit fast enough. Even if your shots are weaker... if the boss can't even return fire then it's a win.
Don’t usually comment just wanted to let you know I love your smite & archero content. Even though i played smite for 4 years an those vids don’t help often( even though I watch the ones about characters i like) I just started archero and these vids help a lot
With your statement about the feels-good factor with multi-shot, i just had a run with two multi-shots and 5 attack speed buffs, and bouncy walls which ended up just looking so funny and cleared rooms like a charm. Note: when you said dont get front arrow more than once, it’s definitely worth it when using the stalker staff, because of the homing effect
3:08-3:13 Stalker Stalker(in dio voice): you see, mere mortal, I need not move, because my 17 million truth seeking orbs, passed down to me by the sage of the six second chapter-clearer, will do all the work for me!
Thanks for the video! Just started playing, so these are good things to know! I didn't realize that the abilities reduce the damage or attack speed! :O
SuperTeeds: do not pick multi shot multiple times Me with 3 diagonal arrows 1 side arrow 3 frond arrow and 3 multi shot bouncy wall And stalker staff: oh no
Hi SuperTeeds, I hope you are well! From my experiment, if you use meowgik, the cat damage is also reduced, due to the reduction of your base damage. I hope you can mention that in your future videos. Cat damage are reduced by around 25% when picked front arrow +1. Also from your accent, I assume you are Australian?
Im currently using a lvl40 staff and im having a hard time if I should switch to tornado or scythe, both are also in epic now but havent leveled them yet. I need your expertise please 🙏
Tornado is my main here.. Sometimes the game just trolling me by putting both ricochet and bouncy wall on my options when i'm leveled up that i'm forced to get the whatever the third ability that showed up there.. Heck sometimes i got piercing shot, bouncy wall and ricochet all at once on my options.. (need to go on piercing so that it didn't break the tornado return benefit)
When canceling the attack animation, was press the side of the screen instead of swiping it for faster attack speed. It helps you focus on your character against projectile attacks and less error of movements. Chapter 7 is the new farming site now since update
I havent made it to 7 but it seems like the drops have changed. 4 used to be decent for drop farming but now its absolute trash. However stage 5 has imcreased by miles as long as you get that far.
it's called "Stutterstep" in the video. C.7 is a farm site even after update? I dont think so, still a hard chapter to farm and, it has less monster to kill :D
Pro Khoa on high tier weapon it is, boss drop maybe 2-4 scroll but 100% it drops scroll sometimes with equipment So you can get 20-40 scroll every run in just less than 10mins (i use perfect epic tornado) and 15 on epic. But still best farming for now since it’s easier to finish of you’re experienced on c7. 1st 3 round of c7 is easy you can easily get multishot and front arrow using evil reward, 1 each ability is enough for the map, after you got those ability get at least 1 dmg from monster to get angel reward. Attack speed is important when using those ability, it’s more important than Damage / Crit . Tornado = farming Death scythe = pushing
a badass alternative to ricochet is having bouncy walls + piercing shot + dia/side/rear arrows. Finish it with a little multishot and or front arrow then it's auto-win
I tried meowgik with a dodge build and i rarely see it proc. When i got dodge master and agility from pool i saw it a few times but hardly like the 50% fully stacked dodge would imply. When you get 1-3 hit by anything it just seems unreliable to me? Ive found the instant poison to all enemies in room far more useful as there are enemies at the top of screen you cant get to that are just slowly dying while you are running/hiding
TIP : to ignore any debuff on attack speed ( and have a very fast attack speed in general ) AFTER EACH ARROW MOVE A VERY TINY BIT. when you will stop moving you will instantly shoot another arrow so if you move for 0.2 seconds you will shoot faster than normal (at start around 0.7 seconds from MY calculations ? probably more or less). this tip will mostly work if you dont have multi shot but i still recommend getting it
Hey, I always wondered what "Strong heart" really did. It makes the healing stronger, but which one? From the angles, red hearts, levelups, or bloodthirst? Because I used to think that comboing Bloodthirst and Strong heart was OP, but I'm not sure anymore.
My main logic for multi short and +1 arrow It always raises my survivability for a few percent. Without regards for damage details. If I can get pierce and bounce that'll be godsend and you can just stand on a spot. Or you can go for the ricochet route instead of the bounce pierce route, it saves you one more ability and will almost always hit other targets. Order of priority for me Multi shot > front arrow > diagonal/side arrow > back arrow Back arrows are worth if you have a bounce pierce combo.
Bs, bouncy wall is definitely better if you already have multi direction shots, as you can hit and run. You pick tornados mostly because it has a built in piecing effect, so you can skip that and stack another multi direction shot. I use the bat ring so I get to skip the healing on kill skill too to stack another multi direction shot.
I was kinda hoping this video was going to be about more abilities that you should avoid. There are so many that are kinda hard to judge sometimes. You mention the Tornado and Ricochet/Bouncy Wall Upgrades on previous videos, but I guess some people haven't heard you talk about it already. Any plans for a future video that goes more in depth on abilities? Obviously that is asking a lot, and a lot of upgrades change usefulness based on play style and weapons/gear, but would be a neat video(s). Love your channel
An important point to understand is that when you pick multishot more than once, your chances of getting a crit hit increases. Simply because more number of arrows are fired.
This is the comment I was looking for. Video says to not pick up multi shots but pair it with crit chance it's deadly because you get crit more often than not which in return your damage is greatly increased IF you add it up.
@@ayoTUBBZ1 well it did say about headshot, maybe she just forgot. But yeah, i combo 2 multi shots with crits and headshot. Also way better with bouncy wall and pierce.
Small tip: if you don't lose health during a boss fight, chances are you will see the devil instead of angel. So lose some, and gain some with the lucky wheel. Cute voice btw. You earned another subscriber.
One little thing. Those dmg and as reductions are not additive but multiplicative. That means that two front arrows dont reduce your damage by 50% (25%+25%) but by 43,75% (25%*25%) that means that 2 front arrows (number of buffs, means three front arrows total) still deals more dmg than 1, but 3 does the same as 2. Same goes for multishot, you deal more dmg even with 3 but difference between 2ms and 3ms is very small (175,5% totall attack vs 179%).
What i dont like about tornado is getting diognal arrows or side arrwos because when it spreads around and comes back and i cant see the mobs attacking me
You know, I fuckin love how invasive google is. I downloaded this game a day ago and already despite never having looked at the game before, ever, I got recommended media for the game on my TH-cam account. Fuck you Google.
What this doesn't account for is the other ability factor. If you have things such as freeze, burn, etc. that changes the equation dramatically. It's mostly about personal playstyle, but I'd totally agree not to stack to tri-arrows (triple) as it changes the distance between arrows, so it winds up causing you to have more akin to what is directional arrows, but you lose that second shot landing on the intended target. However, if you are lucky enough to see quad-arrows it's pretty insane. Also, having too much attack speed stacked with front arrows, bouncy wall, etc. makes it a bit more difficult to see what is going out and what is heading your way.
I am really confused about the multi shot numbers. How does 1253 x 2 = 2606? It's 2506. 917 x 3 is 2751, and 613 x 4 is 2452 not 2525. Plus firing more arrows has more benefits than just a total damage number. With knockback effect, some plus speed abilities, and 3 multishots you can completely incapacitate an enemy. Plus applying more elemental effects if you're sylvan, more headshot chances, and if you have bouncy wall and diagonal arrows you're creating absolute chaos on the board for enemies.
Question: when im playing boomerang and already have multishot + diagonal should i also pick up frontshot or is the dmg reduction too much with 3 additional attack abilities?
I would pick it up if I got it when levelling up but at that point I wouldnt buy it from the devil. Knowing that you get a 25% damage decrease from front arrow, your overall dps will decrease but thats if you were aiming all your arrows at once. Since you are using tornado, it will increase your direct shot's damage making your dps higher vs bosses but lower for mobs.
Love the post! In my opinion ricochet is the most powerful ability in the game though. I'd take that as my first ability over multi shot any day.. just doesn't help quite as much for boss fights!
I still don't understand how does the extra damage of the epic tornado applies. I have a lvl 40 epic tornado, and with the standard hero, I got 1095 base damage. the initial shot hits 876 and the return shot hits 578. 80% of 1095 = 876, ok... 55% of 1095 = 602,25. 578 answers to 52% of my base damage. Where is the additional return damage the weapon should provide on its epic form?
Yeah I initially did these calculations with the epic form but it does not add up either so I changed it to a common. I mentioned in the video how inconsistent it is. Instead of a 25% damage multiplier, I got 20% instead. Not sure what's going on there so I think Archero did us dirty and math'd wrong. It woudlnt be the first time
I used stalker staff with one multishot, one front arrow, one diagonal arrow, two side arrows and bounce and it work perfectly even better with pierce shot and more attack speed
I've only been playing Archero for two days sporadically, but I'm already approaching the end of chapter two. I find that while piercing and multi-arrow come in handy, diagonal and ricochet do tend to be the difference makers, especially combined with fire and freeze power ups and the various orbs/circles, such as bolt and obsidian. Pretty fun game, and more layered than I expected
Sounds like your from Australia? I don't know why we do it, but I know a LOT of Americans who LOVE everything about Australia! The closest I've been to Australia was in 1975.
This was recommended to me today???
I actually thought that she just suddenly changed games hahahahahha
Huge information videos u do, nice to listen voice, simple good video content. Good job. Hope u enjoy your youtube work))
Around 10:15, I like to use front arrow+back arrow+multishot+bouncy wall+piercing in boss fights
3:08-3:13
Stalker Stalker(in dio voice): you see, mere mortal, I need not move, because my 17 million truth seeking orbs, passed down to me by the sage of the six second chapter-clearer, will do all the work for me!
Them: Don’t grab multiple multi shots!
Me: Haha stalker staff go BRRRRRR.
I didn't realize you used to make ArcherIO videos Teedz
Very nice video. I am currently on chapter 8 and would always get 2 multi shot and 2 front arrow. Hopefully the change will help me get to chapter 9.
2 and 1 are best
I didn't know about the con of the abilities. Great video i love it
Great video, thanks for your Archero content! Just found you, and subscribed immediately 😁
Did you mean with basic attack with lvl 40 bow 2500 with multi shot or 2606 like it said in your lil display in the video right at 2:01??
Literally 10 vid in a row about archero and i didn't even searched ever something about that.
Thanks for the video! Just started playing, so these are good things to know! I didn't realize that the abilities reduce the damage or attack speed! :O
SuperTeeds: do not pick multi shot multiple times
Me with 3 diagonal arrows 1 side arrow 3 frond arrow and 3 multi shot bouncy wall
And stalker staff: oh no
Hi SuperTeeds, I hope you are well!
Hate it when that happens!!
@@SuperTeeds dang yeah, jeez..
Pro Khoa on high tier weapon it is, boss drop maybe 2-4 scroll but 100% it drops scroll sometimes with equipment
So you can get 20-40 scroll every run in just less than 10mins (i use perfect epic tornado) and 15 on epic.
Tornado = farming
Death scythe = pushing
Tip: stage 10 of c7 has safe zone where you can dodge 80% of their attack easily
a badass alternative to ricochet is having bouncy walls + piercing shot + dia/side/rear arrows.
Ooh an Archero TH-camr, don't see that everyday, consider me subscribed!
Because I used to think that comboing Bloodthirst and Strong heart was OP, but I'm not sure anymore.
ye i wanna know too
I don't know too but in my opinion it's only for the red hearts
i think from the angels, i notice it once when i pick strong heart
The red hearts and angels
My main logic for multi short and +1 arrow It always raises my survivability for a few percent. Without regards for damage details.
If I can get pierce and bounce that'll be godsend and you can just stand on a spot.
Or you can go for the ricochet route instead of the bounce pierce route, it saves you one more ability and will almost always hit other targets.
Order of priority for me
Multi shot > front arrow > diagonal/side arrow > back arrow
Back arrows are worth if you have a bounce pierce combo.
Bs, bouncy wall is definitely better if you already have multi direction shots, as you can hit and run. You pick tornados mostly because it has a built in piecing effect, so you can skip that and stack another multi direction shot. I use the bat ring so I get to skip the healing on kill skill too to stack another multi direction shot.
love watching your guides more than playing on my own👶🏻
haha aww, thank you
Hello past Teeds.
I will be making one in the future! Thank you:)
@@SuperTeeds Awesome, can't wait to watch it!
I am new to the game. Your videos have really helped me!
I love how you analyze it! I'm the same way with games.
That one time I wanted to see how low my HP can go so I took the extra life and ended up with 1 hp 👁️👄👁️
In the first area, I constantly used attack speed boost, more arrows, and bounce off walls. I shredded the final boss in 5 seconds
Does multi and front arrow once not work for tornado? Because if I pick it up it feels like I definitly do more damage.
Multi shot, two front arrows, ricochet, AND diagonal arrow is the best and clears the room fast.
Also, having 2 multishot will sometimes lead to the third shot missing an enemy since you have to move sometimes
Small tip: if you don't lose health during a boss fight, chances are you will see the devil instead of angel. So lose some, and gain some with the lucky wheel.
Cute voice btw. You earned another subscriber.
Wow you sounded so calm it’s so weird hearing you sound so calm 😳
My favourite combo is multi shot, bouncy walls, piercing, diagonal and bolt with a healthy amount attack/speed boosts
This vid was 3 years ago and it was just now that I realized that I'm playing Archero very wrong
So multi shot and front arrow together still good?
I am really confused about the multi shot numbers. How does 1253 x 2 = 2606? It's 2506. 917 x 3 is 2751, and 613 x 4 is 2452 not 2525. Plus firing more arrows has more benefits than just a total damage number. With knockback effect, some plus speed abilities, and 3 multishots you can completely incapacitate an enemy. Plus applying more elemental effects if you're sylvan, more headshot chances, and if you have bouncy wall and diagonal arrows you're creating absolute chaos on the board for enemies.
Is it wise to get Pierce and ricochet? Or does having both make your damage smaller?
The reason why I watched this vid was to see if front arrow was better than multishot it was a good vid btw
If you have diagonal shots then multitshot x 3 is crazy good.
Stalker staff on top and your dmg is crazy
It woudlnt be the first time
Imma actually try what you said and hope I beat chapter 5 with the tornado. Thank you 💕
I used stalker staff with one multishot, one front arrow, one diagonal arrow, two side arrows and bounce and it work perfectly even better with pierce shot and more attack speed
If I have the stalker staff would multiple front arrows be worth it since they all hit?
Love these videos! Very helpful and informative 😄✨
Ayooooo I just downloaded this game and got this video recommended hell nahhh also the lightning effect with ricochet claps
Great info. You got a new sub here :) Thanks
Sounds like your from Australia? I don't know why we do it, but I know a LOT of Americans who LOVE everything about Australia! The closest I've been to Australia was in 1975. The year I lived in Singapore. (Loved it!)
If I'm wrong about your location, sorry but I still love your accent!
Thanks for the game help! I was stuck & now I can tear up Archero!
