Yes, Taeyong is the leader, and it's actually Taeyong and Doyoung who are most famous for teasing each other. They are best friends that bicker like Tom and Jerry. But they all tease each other, and Johnny was feeling it that day. You're right that NCT is more "real" than most other groups, and that's one of the things I love about them. Taeil is actually the oldest (it was a joke); Haechan is the maknae. Johnny is definitely the strongest. Jaehyun and Taeyong probably round out the top three. I remember someone made a fan video called "Lee Taeyong is strong af" and it shows how he might be the 2nd strongest member even though he doesn't look it. I'm so glad that you are going to check out NCT. Starting with NCT 127 is definitely the smartest move.

What I love about NCT127 variety contents is how effortless they are in making jokes without too many physical exaggerations. It's so relaxing to watch.
I'mma subscribe, waiting for you to discover more of nct 127. They funny, chaotic, and competitive. What I like about them is they tend to gatekeep their friendship and fans will be surprised about their inside jokes that we don't understand. Hence there is a famous saying in the fandom that being a fan of nct 127 is not enough they want to be a 127 member. They have a very funny dynamics.
Just sharing. Taeyong just recently enlisted (april 15) and members rented a villa near his enlistment place to stay with him and make silly tiktoks. Jaehyun wasn't there because he was filming a drama but on the day of enlistment he travelled more than 4 hours just to send taeyong. While mark and haechan was in Shanghai due to a fansign the prior day but they got the earliest flight but fate is cruel to them and their flight got delayed and rerouted. They made bubble updates and even went live on instagram voicing their frustration of not being to send taeyong off. You can even see photos of them on the airport looking frustrated and disappointed 😢. 127 members love each other and are willing to move mountains but fate is against them. Taeyong even printed 127 members picture to bring inside the navy. Yet people say that they aren't close because they tend to gatekeep their friendship.

Johnny and doyoung give me old married couple vibes, the bickering is endless🤣, but it's also a sign of how close they are. All of 127 are an affectionate family, and love their members very much, it's honestly so precious to see!!! im sure you'll see more of their dynamics in future videos 💞
I spot a Johnny biased in the making ;) as you can tell he is very extroverted, he always makes everyone laugh as he tends to get into character easily whenever they're playing games 🤣, most of the time he is just a giant sweetheart, very kind and a gentleman :'))
I am a multi but my ults are nct, so i was completely agreeing when u said they have a unique sense of humor, very unfiltered and sometimes unhinged and chaotic, i find them the most hilarious group tbh.
Thank you for reacting to nct, it might seem overwhelming to get into them, but it gets more fun as you go, they're a group full of talents and amazing music, most people find it easier to delve into each subunit individually and then go from there, and you already know all of 127's names!! A great start 🌟

I love NCT 127's humor because almost every member is just naturally funny and sometimes in such subtle ways. The only one that isn't considered naturally funny is Doyoung. He's taken his responsibilities in the group very seriously, being like a mother to the younger members as they grew up. The teasing is the members' way of making Doyoung funny by the way he reacts it, and that gets him more screen time. Doyoung WAS super funny though, in the drinking show "Alcohol Street Fighter". I was lmao! 😂

Johnny is from my home town, Chicago. Very chill and compassionate. But Taeyong is my ult, though. What cracks me up is that Taeyong's married sister loves Johnny and takes more pictures of him than of her brother. He has teased her about that publicly a few times...

taeil, johnny, and taeyong are my biases. (i lovelovelove taeil lmao) johnny is so hot and then his personality is amazing so it makes the attraction even worse 😭 you could watch jcc to get to know johnny more! it’s him vlogging cool life experiences like going to the met gala + new york fashion week, learning pole dancing, building a fish tank with taeyong, learning how to surf with some of the other 127 members, etc.
taeil is the oldest and the most adorable everrr. he posts videos of him covering songs on his ig and he has two posted on his youtube channel. those are all the most recent ones! he also did an episode of jcc where they brewed their own beer. their dynamic is really cute because they have such different personalities just like you noticed! taeil actually got into a really bad accident last year so he hasn’t been able to perform with the group for a while ☹️ but he’s slowly getting more and more active on social media again because he’s healing very well from what he’s shared with us.
oh and johnny is the second oldest but taeil is so adorable that you’ll see johnny babying him a lotttt (and taeil loves playing hard to get lmao)

omg a johnny biased channel??? He’s my ult 🥰 I love finding other nctzens on youtube that bias him (sadly not enough). Hes very outgoing and has such a lovely personality. If you wanna know more about him you should react to his series that he does on youtube called Johnny’s Communication Center (JCC). Its a bunch of random things he does sometimes just a vlog of activities or events he gets invited to. Im sure you’ll enjoy it!

Since you‘re pretty much at the very beginning in getting to know them, i’d like to share just one little opinion of mine.
Ppl (fans) have different perceptions of some of these members and they sometimes try to put that on other people (new fans) as well. As if that’s all there is to that member. It also tends to happen via some of these guide videos or even (some) edits of the members. Just know that there is always more to them and that they‘re not 1:1 the same person that they were in a content from e.g 5 years ago.
Soo.. at the end of the day, you‘ll get to know them on your own, at your own pace as time goes by. You will learn about their great charms and talents anyways! Have fun in this journey, you won‘t regret it :)

you’re absolutely right. Alot of fans perceive certain members in certain ways (i.e. constantly telling ppl that johnjae are frat boys) that’s just odd/cringe and push that perception onto newer fans. It’s such a pet peeve of mine like let ppl discover their personalities on their own cause 9/10 they always get reduced to those perceptions 😔

It‘s totally weird & I wish it would just stop. Bc I rlly think that it just stays in the mind of the newer fans, when getting into them, and then makes it hard to see them beyond that.
And it‘s literally their own fans doing this too, constantly, on every platform.
