Awesome seeing the documentary on the trip. Good to know about the regen issue in the diesel. I’m about to take a road trip / Offroad as well. Now I’m worried about not having this tool incase I run into similar issues. Would there be any chance u could tell us or make a video on a cheaper version of a scanner that can force a regen? Thanks 😊
@@ArcNine_1893 to force a regen requires a bit more software then a cheap scanner. I’ll reach out to some tool companies and see if they have a regen only cheaper scanner tool! Thanks for watching ✌️
Love your channel and this helps so much! I have a Diesel JT and love it but run into same issues. You mention cleaning the radiator...how did you do this?
@@mikemoore6472 I used this radiator cleaning wand. Hooks up to your hose and you just take the top cover off and undo the 2 10mm bolts and lean the fan back to the motor and spray the fins inch by inch till the water is clean. It’s a cure to my OCD 😂 a.co/d/bQnGOXk
Im so close to calling EOC and not having to worry about this stuff any longer. My diet plan is already decided just building the funds now. Probably going mild with which file I get though for towing reliability with lower egt's.
@@vdub5818 yeah I heard if you still want the tazor live features you need to do the one tune. With the weight they recommend the tow tune. That with the delete and exhaust would be the ticket.
@@WolfOverland exactly. I'd love the multi map setup but I use the tazer so much that I really don't want to ditch it. Buddy of mine over here has an eoc'd wrangler and dealer didn't say anything to him when he got the HPFP recall done. I take that back, the tech said it was the best wrangler he's ever driven 🤣
Aww men this sucks ! I’ve been having overheating issues myself no problems with the DEF regen yet , … so I probably will buy a force scanner just in case , I’m still 35k miles away from my warranty to expire so must likely I will delete de whole DEF system , time to put those Canadians to work 💪
What scan tool do you use?

Awesome drone footage & what a great superstructure that's still standing today!

Great adventure! I hope you got those girls some good chips! 😂
@@oldmanoldtruck lol. Those nasty vinegar feet smelling chips. 🤣
Good video 👍 👍😃
Thanks for the visit
Looks like a fun trip! I really want an eco diesel gladiator. I’m glad you were able to force Regen and get back on the road.
Yes. That would have wrecked a few day waiting for a tow and a dealership.

I purchased the scan tool you recommended. Would you you make short video on navigating the menu to initiate a regen?
