- In today’s video, we customised my VW Golf steering wheel with a custom DIY steering wheel cover from Phat Mods that requires you to hand stitch it yourself.
Having never done something like this before i jumped at the opportunity and really really enjoyed it.

You can buy the chrome trim for those wheels. I have one in my polo. Only like £4 off eBay but they look way better with them. Makes it look more like the R-line steering wheel

Why didn't you straighten the wheels before starting? Installing a cover with the steering wheel not centred is a bit odd, unless it's been put on incorrectly or someone has smacked one of the wheels and damaged the suspension!
It looked like it was too loose for that wheel going by the creases and excess material. Slightly smaller and stretched more before sewing would have given a far better look.
Good idea, bit overpriced for what it is.

Hey, how long do phatmods take to deliver??
I have a "S" 1.6....my mods list is dpf /egr deleted, stage 1 105bhp now 152, auto/fog lights, android headunit, upgraded steering wheel with multi function and module. Reverse and front camera for parking aid, gloss black radio/heater facia, changed key case 👌
One of the worst installation I've seen
Not that bad but the flappy parts are jarring
